yeah ive tried to go through them but it's overwhelming lol. just counting the radiants is something like 250.

I don't think I have that amount of radiants, but last time I did a count the total was over 2000. Just sitting there waiting to be used

Make sure that your shader cache size isn't limited in Nvidia Control Panel (or the equivalent if you have a different GPU manufacturer). Shader caches having to be recompiled over and over is a known culprit for this type of stuttering.

Thanks for the tip, but as with the other things I have tried, the stutter sadly comes back.

who even need 300 fps? anything over 60 is kinda unnecessary imo. heck, im playing duviri at 24 fps and it's fine. warframe doesn't need skill and crazy reaction times.

Because else the game will stutter horribly, been like that since the update, hence it feels stupid.

  4. Ever since the update, I have had the game stutter/freeze every few seconds. I have tried many things to fix it, but nothing really works. The weird part is, every time I do something, it is gone for like a day and then returns next day.

    I have tried the following:

    • Complete reinstall
    • Updating graphics driver (I haven't tried using DDU, but I highly doubt it will fix it)
    • Reset the graphics driver settings for Warframe
    • Verify and Optimize for download cache
    • DirectX 12 beta
    • All low settings, fullscreen vs windowed as I normally run borderless

The stuttering is lighter on classic engine vs enhanced, I found uncapping the fps helps but doesn't stop it at all. Changing settings doesn't stop it either, however it does seem worse with higher settings. I don't see the stutter in the orbiter, or at least I haven't noticed it.

My system isn't thermal throttling either nor bottlenecked. I have had no majour performance issues with this game until the duviri update.

The stuttering looks like this for me:

    Spoiler

This is with a fps cap on, which made it worse, and also on enhanced engine.

Lol but apparently black and red are for everyone ): People overuse it.

My clan has some fashion freaks. They must spend hours on fashion before actually using it. Of course, I am a simple man. Random colors are the way to go. Apparently black and yellow are considered "ugly."

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, what others think in the end doesn't really matter. I quite like using pink, purple, blue, with rose gold for metallics, on a black base alongside white for accents.

I saw someone use random colors on Mirage. It looked like the phase in warframe where your warframe is the worst colors possible. Mirage has potentional I found one from reddit:

I remember seeing that one, personally I find it awful.

Eso nuke ummm trying weapons that are fun on her ignis wraith for example or the Syam. she's mainly used to break weapons. The latron and some other weapons are good examples. She turns weapons that are already monsters into a walking doom slayer. She's not really used for a specific thing sooooooo. Good luck with that. I wonder if you can put roar on her with her already having eclipse on.  Actually, I know what I'm gonna do today.

If only she could have better looks, as that is my main problem with her, so she is just there waiting.

can you please give a performance hotfix because I have a decent pc and I used to get above 60 fps but now its under 40 and while playing duviri it drops even further more like 20 to 15 around

That would be nice. I don't get drops but constant stuttering, especially with the enhanced graphics engine.

      Reveal hidden contents

boltor has me immensely hyped for soma because not only do they have very similar stats according to overframe, dude was melting sp mot WITH THE BASE FORM. if that doesn't say anything then idk lmao

lex looks to be a disappointment tho, was really wanting it to be an even better single target to pair with incarnon soma when I get it (flipped roles on what I usually run, being vectis for single target, kompressa for crowds) but ig not so uhh (waste of those stats tbh)

bronco I can't even tell what it does from the video lmao (its def not aoe maybe like ricochet maybe idk)

and I'm sure the melees are going to have no changes as the last two weeks did

tbh tho I might just not bother with them this week lol

Boltor brings back memories for the first time it was released, so long ago.

IPhone does have a lot of limits. But I think ((in my opinion) iPhone is better for daily use. But it mostly comes down to taste. Flip phones are so underrated for backup phones in an emergency. You have good point's I just wish people would see that when they argue one device is better than another. For example Xbox and PlayStation. Both are good it just comes down to what game's you like that either console has. I (obviously) prefer Xbox, but I know some people who prefer PlayStation. In the end, Its more of a matter of personal preference

Well, it has gotten so bad for them that the EU now are responsible for significant improvements, because Apple thinks that shouldn't be allowed. In the end, nobody truly owns their Iphone, Apple does. Hence it works perfect for the way they intend it to be used, and then fall off a cliff when one have the audacity to want to do something else. As they don't want it to break the seamless experience between devices, fair enough, but still options should be allowed. And because of their position in the market, what they do, the others will do as well, if it turns a profit.

For my general use, it is way slower, as I have to perform more actions for same thing I have available. I like having options and control, so I can tune it to what I like, and that is why I hate it, because Apple thinks having choices is bad. If you just want something that works out of the box and doesn't want to fiddle with it, it is great, alongside it lasting long (+software updates) and being built well (until you destroy the glass and see the price, oof).

It is the same reason I don't like consoles, locked down system intended to be used in a specific way only. But like the Iphone, it requires minimal work out of the box and in general is just plug and play.

lol don't forget to spend your Nightwave creds. Personally, iPhone is better but I found sometimes bugger. Android is only good because you can auto-click with it :/ When I meddle with things I 100% break the game. Lost a save file in a game called hollow knight because I played while the wifi was out ):

Iphone is better if you don't want to change things and agrees with how Apple has set it up. I utterly hate them, my work phone is one, and there are so many annoying things I can do absolutely zero about, and auto-clicker is not part of that. In the end, no phone is "better", since it is all personal taste and what you intend to use it for.

And that is why backups are a thing, especially in uncharted territories.

Yea, I see you have a fair point there.

It is just like iPhone and Android, both have their pros and cons. I personally like having the option to meddle with things and try to get it working again by myself.
So far a complete reinstall has worked out for me, for the time being heh.

It seems like PC is the only one having framerate drops and stuttering. I been using my Xbox and it's been completely fine.

But you also have to remember that PCs have a very big spread in configurations, unlike Xbox/PS that are purpose built machines and are optimised for a specific setup of hardware. Also, certifications for updates, so pushing out updates less but more polished.

  15. This is so confusing, after the hotfix, the stuttering just disappeared completely and no notes that could relate to it. Then today it is back again at full hammer.

Game, what kind of spaghetti are you on...

  16. The problem is that making a good PvP experience requires you to basically "redo" everything in order to achieve proper balance, and even then that is hard. Which leads to the next problem of resource management, as dedicating staff to PvP takes away resources from other areas (or they need to hire more, which also increases cost), so in the end it can be summed up to, do they chose to spend time on stuff that makes them a return or spend time on something that will take a lot of time before it starts to get a return.

Sure, it can work, but the ROI is way worse than focusing on the mainline updates. PvP has never really been balanced as it is a nightmare to get right, just look at how hard it is for Bungie with Destiny 2.

Try reading my reasoning for not playing it up till now.

The expansion is less than a week old, and I'm too old to waste time wading through bug-riddled, badly tuned garbage. Perhaps you are young enough to feel you have plenty of time to squander. Me... Less so. I'm also doing other things, like reading, tidying things up where I live, research, train, and a whole lot of other things. I'll get around to it eventually, but past experience with WF expansion roll-outs, as well as its current reception is a good indicator, that waiting a week or more might not be such a bad idea.

In the meantime, please spare me the sales talk.

It is times like this, that I REALLY miss Totalbiscuit.

Like getting constant stuttering every few seconds for no apparent reason. First it seemed that reducing my settings made it go away, but it is still there and won't stop, super annoying.

How could one guess, that leaving so many things unfinished, and using a lot of time and a lot of resources to create a new expansion removed, both mechanically and narratively, from the game that so many people stick around for, would generate that much chagrin? It is as if they hadn't done the same to a lesser degree with TNW, and saw how their player base reacted to it.

But if DE wants to take a dump in their own bed, one shouldn't be surprised if the sheets will smell like sh*t.

And I still haven't bothered setting foot in Duviri yet.

I "love" how they said they wanted to reduce content islands, but end up making more they have to fix down the line (if ever).
