MercuryVenus Junction did this to me. Killed the specter but cant activate the rail after... tried it like 4 seperate times. Restarted game etc. Different frames used etc.. :(

  2. The thread title sounds all too familiar. But yeah welcome.

The real content is here. There's no wipe so as far as we're concerned this is it and the patches they give is the 'real content'.

Well I can't wait until they add more basically, hopefully more options for the Clan Gui, and especially some more plot. My works firewall blocks online play, but Solo works great! Thank god. I can only get away with it at work on Sundays  though. :( lol

  3. Hello everyone. I am East_Side_Ops, Warlord of Eastern Side Operations. I just want to say hello and I hope to run into you all in the game. Can't wait till this game is finished up and real content and story is put in. Love the beta, fellow gamers are super friendly. Good luck Tenno!

    Sincerely,

Edit: I figure why not right? Just to let people know, if you're looking for a friendly and helpful Clan with a Dojo under expansion feel free to message me in game for an invite!

  4. So I have noticed something. I'm sure some other people have noticed this as well. I understand there are some things out of the game designers hands. Here is the thing though. Not everyone reads forums that play this game. I myself enjoy looking at the constructive criticism going on in all these forums. The problem is that there really is no good system for clans to be created, grow, and prosper as a whole from inside the game. I believe others might have noticed this. Is there anyway we could get a looking for clan chat in game? It is near impossible to recruit people through forums already and absolutely incorrect to have people spamming to recruit in Region chat. I also think the way things were set up were semi-imbalanced. This patch was the rise of the Warlords? I do not see this. I see people joining clans for weapons and leaving. No MMO RPG interaction. No huge clan goals or achievements. No reason to play well with others and own npc's as a group. I really like the gameplay and most of the custom equipment options but everything is fragmented.

My main issue is, how can new Clans start after massive ones are formed for purely just weaponry.

There are no clan banners, no endgame bosses, no pvp. Why join a clan long term? Why even form a clan. The Dojo is so buggy in itself. I understand this is a beta but the way this patch went, I really dont see much use for clans still. I will admit I have created one. I can make the rooms myself, I can research myself though. There is no chat to recruit, the GUI for the clan ranks and customization is so limited it's crazy. I like the clan idea, but this patch I think created more expectations and didn't perform.

  5. The Ash ( My main Warframe atm ) feels so glitchy when I cast Bladestorm. I almost never know when it's going to end. Granted when there are a fewer number of enemies it is easy to know (like 2-4). I am level 30 as Ash warframe, when there is a huge wave in defense missions of infested, I literally do not know how many of them will be dying. I also do not always know where I will be ending up. This can be an overly scarey process when youre getting toward the later levels of defense. I like to stay at a 4/4 revive all day errrrrr-day!

  6. Void Keys, what is this Unicorn you speak of? The ever elusive void key. It's like a Snipe. Clap your hands three times and stomp your feet, it's farm time! 50+ defense IO Jupiter missions and I have not earned my own way into the void yet. Disgusts me with the drop rate of the Prime gear once you get into the Void. That plus the repeated rewards from farming these missions make Warframe life not the journey or the destination. The few mods it gives you are not horrible but after a certain amount of them, they become quite useless. I really hope someone looks into this issue, good topic!

  7. This sounds like people have too much money from playing a beta too much. Ofcourse we will hit walls, the game is still in main creation phase. Another thing is, I think its annoying to have content and equipment only available to those who play an ungodly amount of hours everyday. Now if you come out with hard content I will gladly spend a ungodly amount of hours to get past it. Now once I get past it, that's when a nice piece of equipment should be received. That way it isn't time played but also skill. People shouldn't be rewarded for farming tons of gold. You do that, then you create a credit buying issue between players and farmers. Money system should never provide you with gear that you wouldn't be able get through just getting past the hardest missions. If you were to do that, you would reward people for time played, not skill. That is not a game.

  8. Its not enough that people choose to support you by buying your keys, but in addition you have to screw them over completely by giving them a rigged lottery.

No its not enough that the drops are RNG based, making the entire thing a farm fest YET AGAIN, as if there was not enough farming in this game. HELL NO.

We also should decrease the drop chance of ONE of the parts required to build the items, so our customers will be forced to spend EVEN MORE money.

    EDIT:

Thanks to Artaban for the summation, and its really that simple:

    1. Purchasing access is completely illogical because it basically offers nothing in return (you can have 100 pieces of items and still not be able to do anything with them as long as the "rigged" rare parts wont drop)

    2. No guarantee of any reward, thus essentially spending money and/or time on "nothing"

    3. Screwing both F2P and P2P models: F2P players will reject the notion of farming keys multiplied by farming rare parts while P2P players will reject the notion of spending 100$ on literally nothing.

    4. "Farming" yet again: Warframe offers nothing content wise than farming for the sake of farming. The biggest disappointment of not only the void missions but the entire of U8 was that this very issue was left unresolved. All you do in warframe is farming for frames to then use those frames to farm for more frames, and instead of adding something tangible they add a farm fest multiplied by an another farm fest with a 75 platinum pay-wall between. Its just mind blowing.

    Content wise:

8 items which are completely useless without the corresponding 3 rare drops. Thats all there is to void missions.

You will be having 20-30 of the mentioned 8 items and all they are good for is angering you each time you open your inventory.

There are not even secondary benefits for going to the void.

Difficulty is laughable (even tho steve said this will be end game content), mod drops are the same 60% ability mods, 39.9% useless common/uncommon, resources nonexistent, money average... whats the point?

If i buy a color palette for 75 platinum, then i literally get more out of my plat.

It would be time to part with the idea that RNG is good for this game and at the same time rethink your attitude towards farming.

Im saying this because right now, these 2 things are the 2 main problems that are killing your game. No content, no challenge, no nothing, just the endless rice fields with an RNG based harvest.

All fun and games till you experience how it is to farm rice as a cross between Rambo and a Ninja, but once thats done, then you are done with everything inclusive the entire content the game has to offer.

I honestly, as a new player completely agree with the origin post of this topic. I don't get much time to play this game. In other games I would farm all day long for certain items, and even now I might on weekends. My biggest issue is the drop rate of everything. I had the luck of being invited to a void run by a stranger because I have done 50+ defense runs  and have still received no void keys. The fact that the drop rate issue starts right away with void keys is sad. To even get into another fun new level of the game, I need to avoid playing further into the content already provided to play the same few over and over. This is on top of farming for my weaponry. Now with that said, I do actually enjoy building everything, and it does make me happier about getting the equipment once built. The biggest issue I have is the repetition. I love this game so far but if there isn't bigger goals and maybe a thicker layer of plot, then why play? I will not farm 100+ defense/exterminate/raid missions to get into 1 new mission that I need to farm 1000+ times to get new equipment for... again, for what? Tell me, please. I like the farming and building. I like the gameplay. Fix the real money prices on voidkeys along with the drop rates. Give me better content, or I am going back to other games. Don't scam us.

  9. I actually really like that idea, slotting an item and then realizing it's not for your play style can be a real waste of money. I would even do 5 platinum. Anything to save me money. That way if you do end up flip flopping they might have the pleasure of making more money. This would though, give us a chance to save some as well. This is a good idea.
