    I remember when I got angstrum without incarnon in sp circuit. I almost had a heart attack after laughing. 18 max ammo and ridiculous mele damage, for which you also have to aim very well.

    Instead of comedy films I would rather watch dev streams where they play with "cool" standard builds with the 80-90% garbage weapons in SP circuit!

    For comparisons sake, Destiny 2 has a feature where it's semi-automatic and burst weapons fire continuously by default. To the point that weapons can't make use of these rates of fire without either giving yourself carpel tunnel, or setting up some sort of turbo/auto clicker function.

    Anybody who's used a burst style weapon, Burston, Tiberon, Sicarus etc, can tell you that it feels really bad when your shots "stutter" because you mistimed your clicks.

    Warframes may be machines, but we are not. So many weapons could get so much more use out of our arsenals with a simple quality of life adjustment here similar to the Auto-melee feature rolled out.

    Weapons like the Dual-Toxocyst, semi-automatic with varying fire rates would be a lot less awkward to handle if we could simply hold down to fire. Really any semi-auto/burst in situations with fluctuating fire rates would be much better overall to use if this were the case.

    Yes. should have been happening forever. Who is so crazy and will hammer the left mouse button SEVERAL TIMES per second for hours in the evening after a working day?????
    They don't play their own game. That's why they design such unplayable nonsense that no one needs.

    I can solve it with macros, but I don't want to have to deal with that kind of nonsense.

  8. The days of “blast” are probably over. I used to camp with it against infested. and that for hours.

    ... and a big BUT!
    I played with Kuva Ogris. and that was before embarrassing ammunition ruination. The weapon didn't do the best damage even back then, but I happily played with it against all factions. even on SP.

    Today you just have to take the few good weapons and pay attention to the appropriate status. because the mution runs out too quickly if you don't kill anything. And I don't feel like having an extremely confusing mele camera at all!

    it's not about that at all. but the bonus and the duration are absolutely not noticeable in the game.

    The Good thing about this (other than how symmetrical, balanced and tidy it looks) is that it's made to adapt, no stat is lower than the other, so no need to compensate for anything.

    it still has the amazing augment, and it still has average efficiency, still tanky, and you can boost your stats even more with Molt Efficiency And if you have it Arcane power ramp that both give you 36% extra duration and strength respectively, Perfectly balanced.

    I'm going to ignore all the memes and just say the number 69 looks like a ying and yang, or an upside down cancer symbol for those who like horoscopes for some God forsaken reason.

     

    but yeah, I've been running this build for a while now, and it's really comfortable, and as much as I like Gimmicks in this game, not worrying about what certain set up I should follow is a relief.

    maybe the only thing that bothers me is not using prime continuity, since it's basically free duration, but hey...you can't really get 69% duration with it, so womp womp :(

    maybe exchange umbra armor with str? because it hardly scales.
    and extra arcane brings a lot. especially if you do dmg with weapons=?

    Without fail every time this happens I'm inside a UI. While there, pressing the gratitude button interacts with the UI rather than the "you received a blessing" banner. So I quickly try to exit whatever UI is open within the time the banner is up with the hope that I can send a thanks before it fades away. I of course do not succeed, and I of course did not even think to memorize the name of the user that granted the blessing. (Not that I could in that amount of time, given the fact that most usernames are things like "30fartKitty_slashsixty#187") In shame I just go back to what I'm doing and feel like a jerk for not saying thank you.

    But I AM grateful! So to all you True Masters out there that have taken the time to grant blessings, know that there is at least one more 'thank you' response that just never made it out in time.

    I mostly buff myself. so why thank you? and buffs are actually hard to save. Better to buy something useful with platinum.

    And I've even rarely buffed for months because it hardly does any good.

    I would ask to have the same on/off like with Octavia's sounds. It would be a tremendous help.

    the same is with octavia music. I couldn't stand mine or anyone else's and turned it off completely.

    So all the buffs should be turned off.

    Then we go look around and then the limbo abilities shouldn't block the range or bring us into rift.
    same with frost globe.

    and of course think further. Because tweaks like this improve the gameplay experience and in the end hardly anyone is angry or has anything to complain about.

    Recently there has been a lot of rework topics both on reddit and on the forum and it is no surprise that limbo have been mentioned just a tad more than normally recently with many of the discussions and even rework proposals. One thing that at least has become rather clear as I've read over many of these is that there just is no unified idea of just what the problem with limbo with the narrative swinging from a flawed god to TRASH never use!.

    This in turn has meant that many a rework proposal are also all over the place and it means that feedback is similarly not very useful at best and at worst detrimental to the point of making the problem even worse. Now this is what i wish to attempt to rectify with this rework proposal, to highlight just what the issue is design wise and in turn provide a few potential avenues that one could take to address them.

    Limbo currently suffers from a mixture of 3 issues.

    Poor team synergy: 
    Any player picking up limbo for the first time is bound to make a mess. Banished enemies left strewn about, Banished allies by random, Cataclysm + stasis + long range = Slowdown. 
    He is also currently clunky with some of his more powerful moves which means that for all practical purpose's the banish + mesa peacemaker(immortal mesa) combo is limited to premade levelcap squads and not general usage.

    Old bugs/Old Nerfs and Inconsistency. 
    Limbo is an old warframe and one notorious for breaking the game in one form or another and so weather by Patchwork intervention or just entropy he has accumulated bug.
    One of limbo's main jobs to give an example is to defend targets. Be it NPC or objective. Coil drives in Fortuna cant be affected by abilities and so not even cataclysm can defend them from incoming fire. In the Deimos arcana bounties Juggernauts cant be banished more than once because of ability resistance. If cataclysm is up and a void angel disables your warframe you have to now wait for cataclysm to expire before you can shoot your self free. Same issue with the last gasp ability from Unairu. Enemies/ Environmental effects piercing the rift the rift when they shouldn't, So on.

    Poor visual Language
    The rift is terrible at communicating what it does to the player upfront. You got to do rather extensive research and not fall into one of the myriad noobtraps and bugs along the way at the same time. Fx long range limbo builds being the first thing people turn to or suddenly getting deleted when you thought your self safe. The result is a rather terrible experience and combine that with limbo being an advanced warframe with abilities that demand the player to be able to read the battlefield to make the most use off it and you got a recipe for a lot of players simply writing the frame off. Regardless of how powerful it is.


    My personal solution to limbo.

    1. Address the team synergy issue by streamlining and ironing out some of the kinks.


    The frame already works more or less with exception of CC slowing missions down which is a can of worms that DE will have to address separately I'm afraid but what can be done is ensure the rift at least does not get in the way of allies, regardless of how much mess an unskilled limbo player makes. Ive got two potential options here each with its own upsides and downsides.

    Option 1
    My Suggestion here is to hand out limbo's passive to people via a relatively easily attainable method similar to either wisp's motes or by entering the rift. By handing out Limbo's passive while limbo is in the squad we essentially remove the main issue of players not being able to shoot rifted targets there and then! On top of that we create a scenario in wich the players hold the keys to when THEY want to the rift if at all NOT LIMBO. Fx a Mesa can now decide for her self when she wishes to be in immortal peacemaker mode not having to wait for limbo to find and banish her once every minute.

    • Trolling potential removed: Players can now control the rift, its not a limbo monopoly which is why the trolling was possible
    • Players now have a way to deal with even the messiest of Limbo players. No longer will you be without the tools to deal with that random banished target a limbo failed to kill. 
    • Limbo is buffed to be a much less clunky support frame as you will no longer need to stalk your alias every minute to banish them. Something that in a fast paced game like warfare is not viable players need to be independent of limbo to an extent they now get to decide when they use the rift if THEY WANT TO.
    • This option does not interfere with either rolling guard or other mechanisms relying on rolling.

    Downsides and potential issues with this.

    • Potentially an extremely powerful buff and may require balancing.
    • The rifts current visual language is currently insufficient to effectively communicate to players weather something is rifted or not be it you or an enemy. this needs to change to make this be more intuitive.

    Option 2. 
    This one can potentially be combined with option 1 but they do interplay a little clunkily. Allowing limbo to effectively make stuff he banishes almost invisible if you are in reality.
    That way your eyes wont be drawn to banished targets and you wont waste time shooting on something you cant hit. its a very simple change though one where one needs to ask, what's the difference between invisibility and the rift then?


    2. SPRING CLEANING.
    A look through limbo and updating his ruleset to reach more consistent results by removing old nerfs old bugs and potentially even making cataclysm able to drag ability immune enemies into it( Some issues may arise from this and will need its own separate adjustments) Operator Rift interactions fix. So on. Basically limbo has a job allow him to do it! not all of this arbitrary suddenly something cant be put in cataclysm or targets one needs to protect having ability resistance making limbo unable to do his job. Operators to be able to shoot across the rift so you can unstuck your self from a void angel snare or use last gasp if there's a cataclysm around.

    3. Getting limbo To teach himself better.
    This is where the improved visual language comes in but i admittedly am no expert here. What i would personally do however is ensure that the rift visuals are clearly distinguishing between shoot able and non shoot able targets WITHOUT falling into the trap of the pre rework limbo of visual clutter. This visual upgrade should also aim to communicate clearly weather or not an aly got a target available to shoot at.

    Limbo has similar problems to Frost Warframe with its globe. Unfortunately, this is just the beginning.

    And your thoughts are already in the right direction in my opinion. Hopefully the devs will finally listen and make the game better.

    Unlike in regular missions, you can't even carry a badly equipped player via your own gear, since only one RJ is present.     Does it depend on the dps mods? so “battle tab”?
    I haven't played in forever. but that's how I remember it. because defense is not important. Of course the ship will go down quickly. but I can fix it non stop. and I always join with Lavos. I can spam the railjack skills and nothing lives there anymore - no matter what difficulty level or planet.

    Especially with ppl running Dante or Mesa who kill many enemies from further away it is sometimes impossible to collect reactants. The limitation on enemy spawns on non PC platforms hurts the gameplay. There either a ton of enemies on PC hosts or almost none on any other. 

    Please change the way enemies corrupt please or make it like reactants collected counts for everyone like in railjack.

    They definitely have to be shared reactants like in railjack. At the moment it is absolute garbage. In Surv someone is constantly missing 1 reactant and the player then gets angry and leaves the group.

    don't understand your logic. Do you like the missions, so play them? because missions don't disappear.

    true. and actually not just here. but in many other areas. There is currently a lack of motivation and meaning to even play these missions.
    Time for new mods, cosmetics or new weapons to share in the reward pool. Because it used to be fun and the maps look good.

    The same thing happened to me with “Dual Cestra”. It was constantly in selection for almost 2 weeks... then I leveled it with 5 forma! and you know what???????? "suddenly" it disappeared and now I keep seeing "Secura Dual Cestra"???? but I'm stubborn and have leveled it up...
    and even build Krohkur so that this garbage doesn't appear anymore.

    but of course everything is a conspiracy theory with aliens.

That mod is expensive and not wanting the price to drop but the flexibility to tailor the level to make it fit in multiple weapons

    very good idea. Just like with railjack with the tabs, it should have happened long ago. then you can choose how it is played. So whether it's single target, headshots, AOE, secondary fire modes like charge etc. the possibilities are huge.

    I'm not really about swapping shards and going all out just for that mission.  I usually will adapter my melee and put exilus in it though, if I need to.  It was fun to test things though after cheesing, since there's some ridiculous modifiers like no shield mode etc.

    true. The possibilities are far from exhausted. And there are opportunities here and there to successfully complete these 3 missions.

    I think it just hits new players hard. Because with gear you can find a way out here and there.

    You often do have operator though.  That's only an occasional challenge.  It helps to use companion for cold proc spreading, then still shield gate on top of all the health tanking.  I just mainly build for defense in those missions and don't really utilize my frames abilities, especially with the 75% duration modifier, and liminus guys around etc.

    I end up building for melee and that seems like what they want you to do anyway since the melee adapters are recently released.  If I have pure shield gate frames, no operator, then I guess it depends on the other modifiers and choices haha.

    But not this week! And a lot of warframes survive the stuff with def skill, which isn't possible either. and not everyone wants to constantly change def shards. or install buffs from Helmith.
    and their embarrassing fake "random" code often creates ridiculous options that aren't even playable. I can give too many examples from the last few weeks of the Elite Archimeda or from six months of SP circuit runs.

    and mele is superior because ranged usually can't keep up with super skilled mele key hold or slam spam. Because the ammunition is usually not there and the damage is absolutely ridiculous. 9mil aoe slam red crit non stop? OK....

    won't happen because they want people to farm something new all the time. And don't forget that it's all about platinum sales and getting as high online as possible. The rest hardly plays a role.

    has good skills. But I don't find anything earth-shattering either. You have to play with it for a long time to come up with your own build. Because there are already unique combinations that suit your own style of play.

    Only I prefer something like Nekros, Wisp or Wukong or Gunstation Saryn. and Warframe doesn't offer me anything special. I would rather play Citrine because their skills are already very good.
