  1. Ok so I was grinding Fortuna bounties for the past few days so I could make Garuda, I finally got enough standing and started building her. Finally! I took her from my foundry went straight to Hydron and leveled her until I had 5 forma on it. Got done with that and started playing different missions with her. It took no time at all until it was clear that she wasn't good enough. Now I won't go into details about how her abilities could be fixed because frankly that's not my job and if you want my help DE can hire me. But I will say that after level 40 enemies you can't really kill anything with her abilities. Which you could argue that she isn't meant to be this crazy DPS frame and that's fine, but once the enemies do get over level 40 (which is still a low level) it stops being a warframe and more like a helpless little dog fighting for it's survival. She is crazy squishy even with health/armor mods and the whole time I was just trying to survive, as soon as you don't have your first ability active or if there's an enemy on your side you're pretty much guaranteed dead. These videos of people in their simulacrum killing still enemies is all fine and dandy but in a real mission she is under prepared.

  2. There is no real way of knowing which weapons you will like until you tried them for yourself. And since you already have all the best weapons in the game given your mastery rank there really aren't that many more options for end-game.

Just keep upgrading your weapons untill you get to MR12 or 13 than you can also try Synoid simulor and Tigris prime.

Gotta grind them all sooo .... :p (i forma'd multiple time my aklato, don't tell me the hema is worse, i won't believe you ;D)

There are alot of problems with it. Even when it's fully upgraded (4-5 forma) it takes 2 headshots to kill a level 35-38 enemy, that's a big problem since it does 3 burst shots without multishot. And the projectiles go really slow (something like Boltor's) so it makes it hard when you want to get a headshot on a moving target (dont forget the 3 burst shots).

And the health regen is a joke if a level 80 heavygunner is shooting at you and you're shooting it back in the head it's  going to kill you first.

DE added a weapon that was broken and they fixed it.

    That's it.

In what universe is getting 11x more of something balanced? That was not the intention, therefore DE fixed a bug

Should Credit perhaps be more accessible? Sure.

But that accessibility should not require a certain weapon. That's ridiculous.

It's reasonable to say that the drop tables may need to be modified, but in that case, the tables should be changed, not the weapon.

If they added it in the game themselves it is not a BUG. DE was fully aware of the 11x credit gain when they've put in the game but then they don't like it when people use it.

I really thought they wanted to reduce the grinding aspect of this game (didn't they say that during a stream ??)

Usually I don't take part into discussion but for now I'm going to express myself and, to be honest, I'm really bitter about this nerf.

I play this game since the last year and I'm pretty much a casual player because of my studies. I've always struggle with the credits because this game asks so much for upping mods, buying Baro Kiteer stuff etc...

I've bought the Secura Lecta like, 3 weeks ago, and I thought the credit boost given was a real relief. For once, I didn't have to worry too much for the credits and the game was funnier than before because I could FINALLY enjoy it the way it was (remember, it's a GAME we're supposed to have fun on). And I can tell, this game is wonderfully satisfaying.

I'm really disappointed by DE's choice. Oh well, must be a strategy for selling their credit boosters. What a coincidence, Baro Kiteer is selling some right now.

I can understand that this weapon was maybe too powerful but seriously, I've tried it yesterday and now it's completely useless. I've spent many forma on it in order to have a viable weapon and I feel like they've been used for nothing. The credit boost is not even noticiable. And the MR locking system ? Just a way to down new players a little more, and they're the one who need them more ! What's your logic in there?

Instead of nerfing weapons that everyone use and enjoy, use your time for to rework some lame warframe like Oberon !

Thank you for putting me and everyone else in a grinding credit routine again and for wasting mine and everyone else time and energy.

I totally agree with you, this was only a strategy to sell their credit boosters.
Now the fastest way to farm credits is to go to Hieracon, do 1 excavation and than leave, for this you get 24k credit reward and maybe 3k reward from the excavation. So to get 1 million credits you would have to to this 42 times (if you dont include the excavation reward) and 1 million credits is like nothing in this game, thats half of what you need to upgrade one primed mod, which is completely mad. Plus you need +40k endo.

    Is this not completely ridiculous?

So excuse me for commenting because I don't have a habit of commenting to anything here because people are mostly arguing on is it right or wrong so let me express my deep feeling for this nerf.....

Secura Lecta is a boring weapon from the beginning and I people who did any credit farming are definitely bored to death with it's sound and awkward animation but nevertheless there is a bunch of people who like to harvest and grind and Secura Lecta offered them a faster way to farm that credit and now I have few personal point of views..

People who invested more into lecta like putting 2-3 forma into it now have spent their forma for nothing ( small price for some and big price for some others)

People are actually quitting more now on akkad that actually makes it even more frustrating to play.

The good thing is that the price of lecta will finally drop and people will appreciate more other syndicate weapons and as one of the people here commented and said "Perrin Sequence is useless again" = that's true :D

Why are you spending so much time nerfing existing stuff and modelling actual/popular stuff like Ash(which is good now), Valkyr (still good and not great) and not giving more attention on balancing other things like Oberon(releasing cosmetic/skin?), Zephyr(love the character but that 2 is so useless :D),Hydroid(4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4 you get my drift) and  Maiming strike(price is rising and I am OK with it but it's actually unfair for other people),

    RIP SeLecta

Maybe my comments don't have any sense and maybe someone wants just to be heard but well what can I say?

Don't mean to offend and don't mean to make a racket out of it but it is what it is..

I agree, the devs logic is a bit off.
instead of buffing the crap weapons/frames that no one is using, they focus on the weapons/frames that players actually like and are using and  their solution to it, is to make those weapons/frames worst.

No point in using it now. Better to do one excavation in hericon and leave. It outclassed in everything due to the attraxx, plus right now nobody  accepting low mastery players in their credit farms due ton how mastery linked to credit gain.

Perrin sequence is pretty much useless again.

yea, I just dont know what they were trying to accomplish. They said (the devs) that too many players were using it to credit farm.

And now players will just replay the mission over and over again.

Is this really a better solution?

The Secura Lecta was never meant to be a a main income source for players, but it happened. With the current changes, it makes it closer to what it was probably intended to be from the start, just a supplement to your normal credit gains.

The best way to think of this change in a positive light; now that it's no longer the main income source for players, there's a decent chance they might boost other credit gains around the starchart, like dark sectors even to make it a bit easier on players that do still need tons of credits.

yes, you are right the secura lecta wasn't meant to be a main income source, but since you can get 15-20k mission credit reward per run and almost no credits from the mission itself, there is no point of continuing the mission after those 5 waves if you're faming credits and now you will just see more players leaving the mission early and that will mess up other players who want to exp farm or farm relics.

  9. Okay, so I just went to farm some credits on Akkad with my secura lecta. I was suprised to see how useless it is now.  I knew they patched it, but they did it to the point where it is not usable anymore.
Yes, maybe it was a bit overpowered before, but now there is no point of using it since you can get more credits faster if you just restart the mission after 5 waves or you can go on Hieracon and restart after one excavation, and is that what the devs really want from us? To just restart the missions over and over again just to make enough credits to upgrade one mod?

And you only get x4 credits from it if you are MR18. When you already have most of the mods upgraded which makes even less sense.
