Seems to have fixed itself.

I'm also getting this one for the first time today. On PC.

It starts up as the normal steam update launcher then says it has 786 kb to download then the screen changes from the current khora being sassy to a plain light blue and white background with thin black text saying: 

Update failed!



Some content updates could not be downloaded from our servers. 

Please restart Warframe to try again.



The update will be restarted shortly..

 

But it never restarts.

[Couldn't extract]

I had this bug too.
After I found the coffer I went exploring for like 2 hours, then entered the green circle and nothing. Lost a lot of pickups.
Second time round I went straight to extraction and it worked just fine.

[Plains sound falloff bug/balancing issue]

So this isn't really a bug but more of a balancing issue but out on the plains the enemy sound/speech distance falloff is not balanced.

I hear a grineer nearby, turn to try and locate it and it turns out its like 200 meters away when it sounds like it's standing right behind me.
I find it quite disorienting and have trouble locating the enemies visually because the sound location doesn't match up with it's physical location.
Loving the update so far!
