When casting renewal with Oberon(prime), the aura that gives allies renewal stays where I casted it rather than following Oberon.

Unfortunately, that's how it has always been ever since Oberon's rework 2 years ago. It's either intended to be that way or it's something DE have forgotten to look in to while they were reworking him. I do hope someday they revisit this ability and make it to where the aura follows Oberon, would much prefer it that way honestly.

  2. 1) Oberon

    • I just love playing as a Paladin and Oberon to me is the closest one in the roster, he's even advertised as one. Being able to fill pretty much any role and being extremely adaptable is so good, literally every buff he gives to himself, he can also give it to the team, he just makes everyone's lives so much easier. There's never a situation where Oberon isn't being helpful to the group and all of his abilities are useful. He also has amazing fashion which is a bonus.

    2) Nova

    • First Warframe I set my eyes on when I first started playing and the first Prime Warframe I ever crafted. When I read her abilities, she heavily reminded me of my character in DCUO, a game I used to play a lot using the Quantum power set. I just love how useful she is and the theme behind her kit. Just an amazing Warframe in general.

    3) Ivara

    • Favourite Warframe to take to spy missions thanks to her augment and her being a huntress is what made me fall in love. Love using all of her abilities and lining up all those headshots with her Artemis bow is really satisfying.

    4) Titania

    • Just something about going in to mini Archwing mode and murdering everything while also making enemies float just leaves a grin on my face every time I use it. Titania isn't the most damaging Warframe or has the best buffs and CC, but she sure as hell fun to use. Hope she gets looked at again before her prime or deluxe skin releases.

I'm struggling to find a 5th favourite Warframe. I'm leaning towards either Excalibur, Wisp or Wukong.

  3. They're both two completely different Warframe's that do completely different things, which is just fine.

In my opinion, I find that Nidus starts to shine in endless missions (since there's really no point in building stacks in missions like mobile defense, exterminate, capture etc.)

In terms of team play, Nidus' abilities generally revolves around him rather than the squad, the healing he has is just a nice bonus for him.

Oberon is more of a team player. In all honestly, there is never an instance where Oberon isn't helpful to the squad. Status immunity, fairly decent offense skill, reducing enemy damage by 30%, decent CC, shredding armour, the only Warframe that provides a strong HoT and a flat armour boost at infinite range and pretty much lasts forever, synergies really well with other Warframe's and a nice stat boost to pets.

You can pretty much take Oberon anywhere and do just fine as he is suitable for almost any mission types. Sure, both 'Frames could use some tweaks/QoL changes to their kit, but they are both fantastic 'Frames right now.

  4. I personally don't like the idea of only selected few Warframe's getting an Umbra varient. Sure, I can understand why DE would do that but, there's going to be a lot of salty players if their favorite Warframe doesn't get the Umbra treatment and they'll just constantly nag DE to give all Warframe's an Umbra varient.

We don't know for sure if DE are still sticking with this idea, they have been pretty silent on it.

As long as Oberon Umbra is a thing, then I'm fine. :clem:

  5. They changed some of her abilities because of the feedback DE received regarding damage 2.5, they realised it was a bad idea and scrapped it.

Khora's abilities/mechanic was intended for her to switch damage types between slash, impact  and puncture. I would've still liked her to keep the exalted whip ability and wouldn't mind her getting delayed further until they get it right and is positively received from the community, but I guess a good replacement for it would be a CC ability that's similar to her second ability...

Khora relied heavily on those damage changes. To be honest, we have no one to blame but ourselves on this.

I'm curious to see how a warframe with a built-in kavat will work. Though honestly, i've been looking forward to the frame; but the thing i'm really excited for is learning more about Sigor Savah. Hopefully even meeting him. I felt kinda moved by the hidden messages in the glass statuettes, and his voice actor gave quite a subtle performance that i'm rather unused to from DE's usual voice cast. I feel kinda invested in knowing his fate.

I don't know if Khora is coming with a quest or not, but I do hope we get to learn more about Sigor Savah somehow. Those hidden ghoul transmissions really got me interested in this character and the lore behind it. The voice acting was really captivating and would like to hear more from him.

  7. They changed her drastically mainly because of the feedback they received on damage 2.5 being a terrible idea. They're pretty much scraping damage 2.5 and coming up with something new, possibly damage 3.0.

Still disappointed how she turned out though, she is like another Harrow and Vauban in terms of CC. Her Kavat summoning is the only thing that is keeping me interested.

  8. I don't see a point in acquiring those new mods, unless you want to mess around with it. Why would I want to give up a mod slot just to make flowers sprout out of the enemy and other ridiculousness? I hope they make a separate mod slot for them (like exilus mods) on our weapons just for those mods.

Seems like Sanctuary Onslaught mode may die out really quickly if there aren't any worthwhile rewards to obtain.

    Hello!
I seem to have found a bug where Oberon's returning orbs from his first ability, smite do wayyy to much damage which leads to her being insta-killed in each stage of the fight.
I  included links below which lead to videos of the mentioned bug where one is with just the Kela De Thaym fight and the other one is the full unedited version so you can see that I'm not somehow cheating.

I'm pretty sure it's not a bug, it is just the way how Oberon's Smite works.

The orbs' damage from smite scale based on the target's health (35% of their health to be exact) and since bosses generally have a high health pool, the orbs will deal some pretty heavy damage to them, provided if most of the orbs hit the target.

This makes Oberon a solid choice in taking down most of the bosses in the game, especially in sorties.

I hope this has helped you.

if they bump into a nulifier in a defense, they can run back to the pod where i put the buff and they can get it again

Wrong. If anyone in your squad runs into a Nullifier bubble or have been knocked out of bounds, they can no longer get the buff unless you cast Renewal again.
