To reproduce, simply kill enemies while on Merulina in Elite Sanctuary Onslaught.
Tested using a loadout of Yareli, Atamos Incarnon, Furax Wraith Incarnon, and Panzer Vulpaphyla in solo, if any of that is relevant.

Maybe they are not just applying polish but have to finish something crucial that for some reason is not working yet...
I mean kinda. They said the major issue last night was with host migration; it might not be the only thing they are working on, but it's certainly something to worry about.

Guys, around PoE they acknowledged that they can't meet strict deadlines, and started setting more general ones. We were not told it was coming out yesterday, we were told that it might, and that was briefly on Prime Time, and they closed Prime Time by saying it wouldn't happen. Chill guys, half of DE is probably still half asleep right now. It will be here today, and if it isn't, I have total confidence that DE has a good reason.
Melee Influence can be triggered with any secondary weapon while riding merulina.

While riding Merulina, secondary weapons can trigger the melee influence buff. Also tested with non-melee sentinel weapons, but those couldn't proc it.
