the same could be said for those you want to ignore a kuva lich in a kuva lich mission.

i would like to have have an actual feature that despawns liches that are ignored but until DE makes something like that we have towait and see.

No. YOU want to do something very specific eg. kill YOUR lich. That's all on YOU. Which means YOU get a squad together.

so you would rather ruin the fun and progress of others by going in a kuva lich mission and ignore your KUVA LICH. yeah that's way better.

I would rather not screw myself over so others can progress over my corpse. Because that is what you are asking of people. "Hi please kill yourself so I can benefit."

And as a side note: It's not a Kuva Lich mission, it's a mission where Thralls a guaranteed to spawn and a Lich might spawn. That's like calling every random mission a "Stalker Mission".

then why are you playing the lich missions? even if you figure out all 3 mods you can not be sure about the right order. in the worst case it would take 5 times to guess the order anyway andthen the lich is level 5. not to mention that you run all extra mission after figuring out the mods just to gain nothing extra from it.

yeah the lich system is to much rng and no one likes to die but why would you ruin the chances of other people confronting and maybe even killing/converting the lich when you do something that you don't seem to enjoy?

I am playing the lich missions because DE is forcing my hand. I like to collect things, which is why I play warframe. I want to collect the new weapons, because I want to keep my profile nice and complete.

The only way for me to gather the new stuff is playing the Lich missions. Except DE designed the lich missions in a complete arse from elbow way.

And I agree, even if I have all three mods, I still die a lot, because the system is a dumpsterfire. I have been asking for this 'feature' to be removed in other places.

As for people who are on the final stretch of their lich? Get a dedicated squad. Just like Eidolon hunts. You wanna kill 5x3 Eidolons? Get a dedicated squad. You want to kill Liches? Get a dedicated squad. Stack the deck in your favour.

And leave me to not die to a backwards game mechanic.

  3. How about you take up your grievances with DE and ask them to design a system that's actually entertaining to engage with? Because I don't find a roulette wheel that kills me if I don't hit the right number not very interesting.

So yeah, I will ignore my lich if all I can gain from it is some progress, a death and a punishment in difficulty. Because the current iteration of the Lich system is arse.

Literally "don't hate the player, hate the game".

  4. I recently purchased both the Saryn Deluxe skin bundle and the Loki Deluxe skin bundle, primarily so I could use the dual swords skins they contained on my Dark Split-Sword.

Unfortunately, neither skin seems to work on the Dark Split-Sword, as it simply refuses to display the correct in-game model.

    ue8rOnV.jpg
    Aodzgki.jpg

As you can see, you can select the skin just fine, but the second you leave the selection menu the Dark Split-Sword reverts to the normal model.
And you can tell the skin is actually selected, as it will display the correct cosmetic image while in the arsenal.

Considering I spent money on this, I submitted a support ticket, which immediately redirected me to the forums.
    So hereby:

DE, I spent money on this. Actual money.
I know this will sound entitled, but I'd like to see this fixed, because as it stands, you have sold me defective goods.

    P.S.:
I am not the first to encounter this problem, and it's rather disheartening to see some threads report this bug as early as January of this year.

  5. Was is really necessary to make the decaying warning blink bright red?
I can see the numbers are going down. Without the red flashlight.

And while I can understand the change to the damage tick up (because let's face it, that was somewhat ridiculous),
it's kind of a kick in the nuts that you took out spread on spore ticks completely.
Even keeping that at a low percentage (idk, 25%?) would've been better than just scrapping it.

Because right now, Saryn feels less like she's spreading disease, and more like she's a janitor, here to sweep up some nasty
    looking enemies.

Overall maybe a B- for effort?

Edit because reading other posts reminded me: The decay rate is ridiculous. I know I don't run very high duration on my Saryn,
but losing over 50% of my built up tick damage in seconds feels really S#&$ty. Adjusting to a C+.

  6. I am very much opposed to this becoming a new way to do unvaults. And not just because it's another nice fat middle finger to those who save up prime sets to later sell on.

At the moment the prices for the relics that Baro brought are ludicrous. Which defeats the purpose by a mile and a half.
The players who have enough capital to purchase enough of these relics to semi-reliably farm the vaulted parts already have the vaulted parts, and only see
the value of their stock diminish. Plus the players who are affluent enough to buy these relics are likely to already have the "unvaulted" primes.

The newer players, who I assume this is mainly aimed at, are not nearly wealthy enough to get enough of these relics to actually farm the unvaulted primes,
essentially both setting them up for disappointment and taking away what prime parts they have in a wager that is poorly in their favour.
Even for newer players, it's much more attainable to collect the 200 platinum needed to just buy both Volt Prime and Odonata Prime in the market.

All in all, I think this system in a double whammy of a trap for newer players and a nuisance for older players.

  7. You're currently asking for DE to build more behaviours on top of already broken behaviour. That cannot end well.

I can see the idea, and I kinda like it, but at the moment the companion AI is about as useful as a bag of nails when all you have is a screwdriver.
DE needs to fix the AI first, before they start expanding on the system, otherwise it will just result in a cavalcade of bugs and broken AI.

  8. It would more interesting to me for Venus to not have Eidola running around. I mean we already have three of the big boys ambling around on earth,
with a possible 4th flying about soonTM.

What would be much more interesting, I think, is for the night to be when the spiders come out. You know, the new proxies DE have been showcasing on streams.

Now personally, I hate the things already because I hate spiders with every fiber in my being, but I think it would be better for the game if every new iteration of the
'plains' node didn't follow the same checklist. Not every plains needs:

    • mining nodes
    • bases in the local enemy flavour
    • fishing
    • small eidola
    • collection of big eidola
    • unique enemies in local enemy flavour
    • etc., etc.

So I hope that Venus will have a more vicious night than day, but I don't think it needs a distinct 'boss' per se. I want to be new, and maybe a bit different,
because another PoE might kill the enjoyment for me.

  9. This may or may not be the correct place for this, but here we go anyway.

Not only do I think the way rubble performs is disappointing, the way it works in conjunction with petrify means it is very costly to maintain.
The decay rate is very fast, especially when you consider your allies are going to be killing the enemies as well. By the time I have cast petrify, my squadmates will
just have nuked the area, a lot of the time even before I get the cast off.

Add to that another big disappointment for me: Path of Statues does not work with the new rubble mechanic. Enemies petrified by Path of Statues do not drop rubble.
This complicates the gaining of rubble even more, as I imagine it would work quite nice. Punch enemies, turn around, punch petrified enemies, gain rubble.
Sounds almost like that synergy DE keep raving on about, but somehow fail to grasp.

The radial petrify when casting Rumblers is nice, it gives you a bit of breathing room. But only a bit. Maybe half a second. Which, on a sidenote, is just enough time for your
new rockbuddies to die off again. You get a few meters of petrify, while the heavy gunner down the corridor drills you and your pals to death.

All in all, I feel Atlas' rework works for low level areas, but the second you take our Rocklord anywhere interesting, he doesn't hold up as a tank or a front-line fighter.

  10. If you're getting cc'd you're either not cc'ing hard enough yourself or not killing enough.

Both are fixed easily by modding or player better.

And if the cc gets too much after all that, Inaros and negation swarm exist. Our you could pick up Atlas. I hear he's being reworked ;)

  11. Thank christ you're not rolling out the IPS rework as is, because right now it's a mess of nerfs and misguided ideas.

And I'm glad to see the acolytes return, but I'm finding myself slightly miffed at your timing. Yes, they're coming this year, so yippee,
but I've got a lot of things to do in the days surrounding the christmas holidays...

And let's face it, with the rarity of the mods the acolytes drop, you either farm them or you empty your bank account for them.

  12. No.

    Just no.

The people who pay for the prime access kits, are part of what keeps this game rolling. They pay a sum of money because they love the game and want to look snazzy in said game.

And you, with your entitled and spoiled attitude, want to take away from the people that keep your hobby free for you?

Welcome to the real world, where you have to pay for the shiny stuff. If you can't cough up the money for an Omega watch you can get Walmart's own brand instead.

Why compare miniscule changes to an unpopular gamemode to a mission type that takes significantly longer to conceptualize and develop?

Because it shows that DE's given reason for not working on raids is not really very solid, as it's apparently not an issue for conclave.

And let's be honest, it's not like we ever asked DE to look at the raids and fix the myriad bugs that litter them. But no, apparently there aren't enough people that play raids, so it's not worth the resources.

    Makes perfect sense.

  14. How to shoot oneself in the foot:

Step 1: Create a massively popular online campaign around people watching others play your game, but create a rewards system that is unusable for streamers with old accounts, thereby forcing streamers to make new accounts to maintain a viewerbase.

Step 2: Let this run for a while, even promote an  extension of the campaign, adding even more fuel to the fire.

Step 3: Yank the established system out from underneath the now established streamers, instantly diminishing numbers and interest.

Step 4: Gather remnants of foot and try to figure out how it went so wrong so quickly.

  15. Wonderful that you fixed the operator's hair not showing properly with the masks. Now I can at least look good when the bounties bug out mid mission and send me back to Cetus for no good reason.

You know, and this is just a suggestion from someone with no real management experience, but it might be a good idea to actually have a look at some gamebreaking bugs, instead of worrying over minor visual glitches.

And if at all possible, it would be wonderful if you can fix pieces of your game without shattering twenty other pieces as you go along.

Hello, my name is Xpo.vos, though most people refer to me as Vos. Recently, PPPokeHerFace, Ju99ernaut1 and Roel1202 applied to join this clan, and I'd like to complete the set by joining Quasars as well. I haven't played warframe for very long compared to the others, but I've learned the game pretty quick and manage myself pretty well in the different raids by now.

Best regards, and I hope to hear from you soon,
