829 Kills, 76,034 XP Total
If i'm doing 60% more kills why am I not getting 122,000 XP instead of 76,000 XP?

(Note:This Auction system was thought of with Riven mods in mind)
After a few riven trades i quickly noticed the level of distrust and animosity around what the supposed price of a riven mod was.
Sellers wouldn't know what they were worth and buyers couldn't know if the "other offers" a seller was claiming were credible, even when given the names of said bidders.
So below is the result of 10 minutes of thinking.
Phase 0: Advertisement
The seller puts the item up for auction with an overestimation of his selling price, places will be open for 120 seconds during which players are required to have 250,000 credits and possess the maximum Platinum price to participate.
Why the steep credit requirement? To filter out empty accounts that could be used as fake bidders.Phase 1 : Initial Offers
A Heat map window appears showing prices from the maximum price to zero. The names and ranks of each buyer is made known and their initial offers are displayed, showing where the offers are congregating. This informs the buyer where he must bid if he is to win above the majority of offers. This phase lasts 60 seconds and players who did not make an initial offer are removed from the auction.
Why show ranks? Would you find it suspicious if all the highest initial offers were from low-ranked players? Displaying ranks ensures that buyers are confident in knowing that the low-ranked offers gathering near the maximum price are fake bids.Phase 2 : Hidden Bid
The buyers that made initial offers must now place a bid that is hidden from everyone else. After 60 seconds the highest bidder wins the round, pays the collateral and gets the item while the losing bidders do not pay any collateral. However in the unlikely event that two or more bidders have the same price, this initiates phase-3 of the auction.
Why Hidden bids? This way the seller cannot force the auction to go to phase-3 to trap buyers into a bidding war.Phase 3 : Bidding War
The contesting buyers must now bid up from the contested price. A 15 second timer appears that resets when a buyer raises the bidding price, meanwhile every platinum higher than the contested price increases the collateral cost by 1,000 credits. This continues until the timer runs down to 0 or if all other buyers have folded their bids. Everyone who participated in this phase must pay the total collateral cost of the auction.
Why must everyone pay for the collateral? Its highly unlikely that any two buyers will have exactly the same price, because of this the only way a seller can force an auction into phase-3 is to use fake accounts. Lets say an unscrupulous seller wanted to set a price that the auction in phase-2 would not go below, taxing his efforts with 250,000 credits per fake account disincentives this strategy by imposing a fee on all participating accounts.
But wouldn't that leave only rich scammers? On the contrary, those players who can afford spending that many credits on fake accounts often don't need the platinum in the first place. That's it, this is all I am going to say on the subject.

7 hours ago, Baigan said:
people who join the group and doesn't help with the bounties, buggering off to do something else.
Seconded, it would help if players who never selected the same bounty cannot join the session until the bounty has been completed.
In the meantime i would suggest matchmaking to Invite-Only.

"What if Warframe shuts down?"
Nay, You Speak Heresy!
Honestly I would find something else to do, a game's a game.

Buggy matchmaking or exploit.

This bug is being readily exploited in conclave, you can run around and think youre dealing damage to the enemy when you die for no reason and find out your character never moved.
-
This bug is the reason i missed out on the orokin catalyst alert,i guess its too late for a fix now.

As the title says the "Previous" text disappears after the 71st page of mods is reached in the equip menu.
It disappears in the 72nd and the 1st page can barely be seen when having 73 pages.

The game screen turned black after confirming the change from windowed mode to fullscreen mode, now when i run the game the login screen has been replaced with blank white with black borders at the top and bottom of the monitor.
And the game screen is moved a little to the left exposing the desktop behind it,typing the password does log me in and i do hear the ping sounds as i move the mouse around but i cant see the cursor either. And unticking enable full-screen in the launcher does nothing so the client is now permanently unplayable.

This problem is at least 4 months old as far as i know and invites are now an absolute necessity,if not before then surely now.

Framework, Template, Scaffold, Skeleton, Imprint, Receiver, anything but blueprint (although the words got a lot worse later in that list...). Non-reusable blueprints is non-sensical...
Darn you beat me to it,I was going to suggest using "Template" as the new name.
So yeah seconding this ^

Well then how about merely adding rooms for each region? they dont have to be US-East and US-West either, they could be US/EU/SA/OC instead, and there could a default Main or All chat room for members from all regions. Of course the division is technical but players could still have the option of switching to the Main clan chat if they wanted. And yes, this idea is meant for large clans of +500 people. Especially since the recent update the population has soared and there has never been more pressure to make or join clans with the new dojo content, which inevitably creates a larger worldwide member base for clans. With the current chat system, most of the clan base are forced to stay silent just to keep the chat readable.
-
A Regional chapter within a clan, and you would still be able to play with members from other regions, you just wouldnt know about them at first. The chats dont have to be split either, they can just be filtered according to the region each member is hailing from so there can still be a Clan wide chat
-
It shouldnt be hard to do and it would eliminate the need to ask about whos runs were in what region, especially for clans that have members from all regions. Clan wide announcements could still be made to all regions within that clan by the clan leaders and warlords. And members would find it easier to group up with other members in the same region for lower ping games than picking a region that happens to have most of the clan base.

+1 to this.

I have not seen a 10,935,000,my client added up to 992k using the lowest rated fusion cores including the cores below uncommon 5 and common 3 that are not being dropped anymore,so 1m is still around about the price range for maxing.
would have been nice info if rare 10's and stuff were still around ... and dropping ...
They're not? Then I've made a booboo =/
Ignore this topic.

The information in this post is outdated
This is a list of the least amount of credits needed to upgrade a mod from rank 1 to 8 using Rare 10's and estimating from rank 8 to 10. It takes at least 800k - 1m to boost a mod from rank 0 to 10,and at least 400k - 500k to go from 9 to 10.
1 "Rare 10" Fusion Cores upgrade a mod from 0 - 3 exactly. Cost = 5,400
3 "Rare 10" Fusion Cores upgrade a mod from 0 - 4. Cost = 16,200
5 "Rare 10" Fusion Cores upgrade a mod from 0 - 5. Cost = 27,000
9 "Rare 10" Fusion Cores upgrade a mod from 0 - 6 exactly. Cost = 48,600
19 "Rare 10" Fusion Cores upgrade a mod from 0 - 7. Cost = 102,600
37 "Rare 10" Fusion Cores upgrade a mod from 0 - 8. Cost = 199,800
37 "Rare 10" + 60 "Uncommon 10" Fusion Cores upgrade a mod from 0 - 9. Cost = 415,800
37 "Rare 10" + 120 "Uncommon 10" Fusion Cores upgrade a mod from 0 - 10. Cost = 847,800
I only had 5 Rare 10's left which would have taken the mod around 1/6 of the way to rank 9 so i ditched those 5 Rare 10's and used Uncommon 10's instead.
The amount of fusion cores you need to boost a mod depends on how many mods you are using. Maxing a mod with lower ranking fusion cores ranging from unmarked common to common 7 and uncommon 5 used 930+ fusion cores and just under 1m credits. Higher level fusion cores will make the overall cost cheaper especially for higher ranks.

As the title says profile stats are set to 0 for mine and everyone else. This started happening a few days ago after logging in,nothing unusual it just happened like that. But player ranks and mastery points, credits, plats are still updating.
-
My profile and the profiles of other players have become blank with 0 stats in all fields and no warframe/weapon names, except for Mastery points and rank which still update.
-
Every game launch since the most recent update i have been launching the game to the basic storyline followed by the 1st tutorial. And after these scenes all of the consumable items are unequipped except the 1st and last items, and the weapons are all switched to the most used rifle/pistol. the melee weapon box is glitched saying the name of whatever melee weapon i was using before logging out when a jaw sword is actually equipped (skana was sold).

I wouldn't mind if there was a time consuming way to break out of the electroball lock like pressing a sequence of buttons, hacking it or just mashing X. Or a way to destroy them with a useable item or an overload that uses warframe energy or disables warframe powers for 30 seconds.
At least something to give the victim an option in this situation instead of calling it quits and going afk.
Why am I not getting more XP for more kills?

So 2 Melee kills gains 82,000 XP and 5 Melee kills gains 76,000 XP? Nice logic.
