i know you said this some time back already but i wanted to comment on the gunz 2 thing i agree that lack of developers is the problem to an extent but unlike gunz 1 which was/still is more played then the abomination that is 2 that separates strictly by region(dont know if they ever fixed it) so you stayed waiting for minutes sometimes hours for a match depending on your region and it dumbed down the skill needed from 1 to 2. But overall gunz did pvp RIGHT cause that was pure skills(granted you could lose your keyboard within a week if you arent careful XD) all the the different styles that require so much button mashing: butterfly, double butterfly, k style, double shotgun and so on.

Sorry for the rambling i enjoyed gunz the duel before it turned into whatever 2 is...

Jesus, I could barely do the single butterfly.  Kstyle and double were ridiculous, but still not quite as ridiculous as this thread.

A mission-based non-open world matchmaking-reliant squad shooter with a couple of social hubs is an MMO now?

Man, this definition gets fuzzier by the day.

MMOs were never required to be open-world, not reliant on matchmaking, or non-mission based to classify.  Social hubs are an iffy spot, maybe.  Those are typically par for the course in an MMORPG, sure, but not all MMOs.

  3. This statement doesnt mean that theyre working on making it into anything other than grnd.

Im not interested in elegant solution to gate of rewards, im interested in interesting way to acquire them.

And i guess im not alone in that opinion.

How about the whole thing that you aren't supposed to grind it in the first place?

  4. To actually say something useful, in line with what Syndrex said, breaking the body down into basic shapes also helps a lot of people.  Once you have it broken down, you can flesh things out with other simple shapes to get a better grasp on the proportions and anatomy.

Essentially, start with a stick-figure trying to keep to the above measurements, and then build on that.

Here's the basic process going from doodle to something more usable.

  5. I'm also running into fps issues since the past few updates.  I had run at a comfortable 60 fps since I started playing but for some reason, my fps has shot down to barely 20 now.  I tried fiddling with the settings(anti-aliasing off, settings to low) and it did nothing.  Tried going to directX 10 only and didn't work.  Went back to my old settings, it's getting a solid 50-60 fps now.  I log back in today, with nothing changed, and now I've got 20 fps again.

  6. I don't understand why everyone is saying they have to waste a forma getting rid of a d-slot.  This is just not true.  Unless a weapon comes with three v polarities to begin with, you were going to add another one.  A forma is not burned merely removing polarity and turning it to neutral, going from a d polarity to a v takes just as many steps as going from empty polarity to a v.

Other than that, I agree with you that the D polarity is pretty much garbage for weapons.  They need to make a mod worth actually having d polarity slots on weapons other than just a time-locked nerf until you forma the d away.

  7. The Red and White Elephant in the Room

A bit disappointed you guys won't be using a darker theme, as this one makes my eyes water in a few minutes and becomes physically painful to look at for much longer than that.

    Hardcore Mode

There's no reward good enough for me to even think about risking my warframes - especially ones like zephyr that take large amounts of rare materials, or who might require a quest to do.  But, then I suppose this type of thing just isn't for me to begin with.

    Mission Disconnects

Yes, dear god yes.  roughly 3/4 of the poll currentl either experiences disconnects a lot, or occasionally, and this would help alleviate the pain of having to get re-invited, or just being utterly booted from rewards if you get booted say.... at 55:58 minutes into a t4 survival..... Yes, that's happened to me before.

    Hiding

Well of course it will slow down gameplay, people who want to stealth don't do it at break-neck speeds.  I think the least to do in order to compromise would to be giving shade a larger proc area.

    Syndicate weapons

I'm all for that!  But, an idea I've been kickign around is, what if you can get Suda as your ship's Cephalon for a top-tier reward from Cephalon Suda?

  8. The point was the DE marketplace not the people's trading prices.

If they become easier to get it will negate what DE has on the market.

So your point to not trade is the tax credit which is the easiest thing to get?

Sorry but getting 8k plat is way easier than spending a T4S key just to go for 5 minutes.

People actually buy fusion core packs?  Seriously?

  9. I don't have much in the way of ideas right now, but something that really keeps popping into my head for a potential reward.

What if as a top-tier reward for Cephalon Suda, you could replace Ordis with Suda as your ship's cephalon?  Anyone else have interesting syndicate reward ideas?

  10. I disagree.  It isn't just about rankings, bear in mind we only have the bare skeleton to the syndicate system right now.  It's essentially a new market and currency, and when the market starts to flesh out, currency will start to go fast.  Not to mention, the caps per rank and also the daily rep caps, it isn't possible to cheese/hoard these either.  It needs to be attainable at a fast enough rate that you could use it as a currency, but slow enough that it doesn't turn in to fodder like credits or nano spores.  The high acquisition rate addresses the former while the hard caps address the latter.  You get it quickly, sure, but your wallet and income has a set maximum.

  11. I can count on one hand the times my allies haven't insta-gibbed the target I mind-control, this actually makes it usable for it's intended purpose now.  Turning an enemy into a damage-soaking allied tank for the duration?  Yes please.  However, If they add in the ability to re-cast, that would be superb as well for those who merely want to use it for a quick stun(even if that's a waste of energy if you aren't incredibly far away - just jump kick them!).
