  1. Grineeer actually stated in the livestream chat that Glaive mods work with the Kestrel.

Well that's relieving. Because in game the Glaive mods do not show up in the mod list for my Kestrel. I have checked over and over again, so it must be a bug.

  2. What if the host of the game gets to the finish first? Host migration is way too unreliable.

What if I get stuck in the terrain as I head to the exit? Now I can't complete the mission.

Is public chat so bad that you can't just ask for people who like to take their time?

Yes, host migration is very unreliable atm and games could get dropped. That is an issue I can't suggest anything except dedicated servers for, but those are expensive and DE has expressed their concerns with them.

Again, that's an issue with another part of the game that just needs some improvement and it wouldn't be an issue. Also, an unstuck button would be nice for moments like that. It would teleport you to the closest ally after a 10 second delay or something.

Rushing is the most efficient and popular way to farm bosses, so most people will always do that. Often I will run into 3 other rushers and we steamroll everything in our path until we hit the finish line, we have no reason to slow down. We know what we came for, often a boss drop, and we are there for that and nothing else. Rushers can enforce their play style on people as long as there are 2 or more rushers in the group. The two rushers can open co-op doors and trigger the countdown at the finish. There is nothing explorers can do to stop this, so there is no reason not to rush if you don't want to explore.

I'm trying to find a fix that will not punish rushers or explorers for how they play. Once the host migration issues are worked out, this could be possible.

    -edit

On the public chat thing, I strayed away a bit. The issue with searching in public chat is that explorers are rare, but rushers are everywhere. It's harder to find a group of explorers than a group of rushers.

  3. Could there be a feature added so that when someone reaches the end of the mission, they leave? It would function the same way as when one person leaves a defense mission early. The extraction pods could be an interactive way to leave. Let's say you reach the end far before your team does after you down a boss. You walk up to the pod, hit whatever your interaction key is, and leave. You get your items and loot, while everyone else can stay to explore or loot further.

I know that rushers not marking mods and loot disappearing before you reach it would still be an issue. This would just be so that people could go through a level at their pace a little easier, and not have the mission start a countdown once some rushers reach the finish line.

  4. I was thrilled to hear about these new glaive mods, as I have a potatoed kestrel. I figured since they both function in the same way, the mods could be used on either one. However, the glaive mods are only for the actual weapon the Glaive. I already built a Glaive so I can use these and I am leveling it now, but could we make these mods usable on the Kestrel and Glaive? I prefer the way the Kestrel performs, but these new mods make the Glaive far more unique and leave the Kestrel feeling rather bland.

P.S. The mods Rebound and Quick Return have had their effects swapped. I got both mods in game and currently Rebound is adding bounces while Quick Return is adding bounces. At least that's what their descriptions say they are doing. Also, the forum spell check does not recognize Glaive as a properly spelled word.

  5. I happened to have a stamina regen on my Mag when I tested U10, so I didn't notice at first. After not using it, I am really glad I had it so I could now be where I was in U9. This system has no place in this game. If we are supposed to be ninjas, let us be agile and fast. Otherwise, just say we are legions of samurai who kill everything in sight, while marching slowly forwards.

  6. Pull is the new mag ult. Its armor ignore and low energy cost makes it tear through everything. Amazing CC as well. BTW if crush is using magnetic forces, armor would amplify its damage right? The metal armor would collapse in on its wearer it would seem.

  7. I was farming t2 raids yesterday for Hell's Chamber, and I noticed a very high drop rate for rares. Just learn the rooms and how to make it to the treasure in time. I recommend xcal for slash dash or nova for wormhole. Either one will zip you past things like frost patches. BTW, t1 doesn't seem to have good drops anywhere so don't worry about those. Good luck!

  8. First off, I hope this is the right section of the forums to post about auras. Anyway, I think the various scavenger auras could become much more useful if they were simply ammo scavengers. Maybe nerf their bonus drop rate slightly, but then the aura would be useful to everyone on your team. That way all enemies could just drop more ammo overall. I don't see this being terribly game breaking, and it seems beneficial to everyone.

  9. Is this going to become a permanent game mode after the event? Also, could the mod fusion slots be lowered so it doesn't take 14 slots? That's a bit much for 22 bonus on pickups. Especially considering most orbs are energy, so 22 hp pickups won't be very useful unless you are going toe to toe with toxics. Really enjoying the event, though. It makes for some great farming.

  10. Wait...since when did I mention Rhino? Maybe you are replying to the wrong person XD.

Eh, mag pulling toxic ancients is like the common grievance people have about mag's pull. And I'm assuming these guys haven't used mag long enough...

It's so easy to pull toxic ancients without getting damaged. See this obstacle, see that obstacle? You can easily use them as shields, instead of pulling a toxic that is right in front of you. for 25 energy pull does what vortex does in an instant...

I don't spam my number 4, as I use mostly skill 1 and a rifle with puncture to complement it.

Yeah, the Rhino stuff was directed at another guy, which is why I spaced them apart. But a Vortex is 13 seconds long, so for 75 energy it can grab the same amount of enemies as pull and also keep them down. That's why I don't use my Mag much anymore, she got outclassed by other frames.

  11. -snip-

I would love to see a Mag pull 5 toxic ancients to her feet. Surely nothing would go wrong with that plan.

Also, how often do you Rhinos need to stomp? I play Rhino and when I him for his CC, so I always have energy for it. You say Vaubans need self control and discipline but you spam abilities so often that you burn all of your energy before you even get the 3 orbs to stomp again? Rhino is not just there to stomp, bring a decent weapon and try shooting the suspended enemies. Unless a Vauban covers the entire map with Vortexes, you should be able to scrape up 3 energy orbs. Even if they do cover the entire map in Vortexes, that means every enemy is CC'd so you can shoot them. If your bullets don't do enough, then get a new gun or go to a lower level zone. Vortex won't steal kills like the nuke ults, it won't harm you unless you go near it, and it will close down an entire choke point in a defense mission.

  12. Having done some dueling, why would I not just Trinity ult spam and 1 shot all the stalkers I see with an Ogris? Hell, I was instantly killing all the non-tank frames in duels using a Kestrel charge attack. Our damage output was not intended for players, it was meant for enemies with scaling. The only people who would benefit from this is people with maxed builds who can laugh as they dunk Stalker after Stalker. Besides, nothing would beat Trinity because it turns out that invincibility for 15 seconds is good.

Screwing people over while they are farming is not the solution. Areas where you know you will get invaded would have to be made. Then damage from player to player would need to be balanced, while not making us invincible to PvE mobs. This is a large system that would take time and money to implement in a game that is clearly advertised as being PvE. The PvP in the game now is hardly used, why add more of something that most people seem to not want?

TL;DR - If you wanted PvP, you came to the wrong game.

  13. No, those weapons have no Bps i buy mine BVandal in February and i got LVandal as a reward coz i participated in close beta, they should stay  exclusive.

But those guys who got Primed Chamber, i mean what to say ,,, do this guys have a social life.

Did he not lay on the sarcasm hard enough?.
