  1. i don't really understand the need to focus on kills.

Once upon a time it was relevant when people could ruin an entire run by spamming 4 and making everyone get nothing but warframe experience, but it hasn't been like that for a while now.

  2. it's probably due to the clan research + oxium costs.

I use her for rushing stuff mostly, works pretty well. Has a great hp/shield pool, probably the largest out of any warframe, however her armor is incredibly bad which kind of makes it not so appealing.

I'm also not really a fan of her ult, extremely unreliable CC and very poor damage, also prevents anyone else from really being able to damage anything and flings drops everywhere. 1-3 are pretty great though.

  3. Are you using tranquil cleave? That seems to have some sort of damage multiplier on it, just as you said Crimson Dervish does.

When i had the plain Nikana with no stance it was awful. I didn't start using the Dragon Nikana until after I got Tranquil Cleave and i was one shotting everything in Xini waves 1-10 with just the stance and pressure point on it(was unranked). If i'd had steel charge on it would have done even better.

  4. i totally just let objectives die when it goes on too much.i don't help or anything, I just stand there on the very edge of xp share range and watch it slowly get destroyed.

it's one thing to push a little too far past a choke point to melee, and it's another thing to fight in the middle in kappa when the terminals are still the objectives.

  5. After the absurd amount of Oxium farming I've decided to not farm for stances and just decided to play nomally. So far I only have 9 Reaping Spiral and 2 Crushing Ruin. Is the drop rate for other stances really low or is it just RNG for me?

depends on which one you're hunting. there's an extremely common machete one(Sundering Weave), a moderately common fist one(Fracturing Wind), and a somewhat common polearm one(Shimmering Blight). Pretty much everything else is super hard to get. I did manage to get Bleeding Willow(rare polearm stance) off the moas in the contested dark sector mission pretty quickly(~1 hour or so?) before i stopped shooting at anything and just roflcoptered my way through the whole thing, dunno if it's easy to get in there or not.

  6. i remember getting g3 on a 30ish alert one time, that was hilarious.

about 2 seconds after they spawned everyone was dead. I was killed faster than I could blink in a rhino with maxed hp/shields/armor and iron skin up.

I don't fight those guys anymore. Nothing they could possibly have is worth the effort.

  7. I love that melee weapons are functional weapons now and not just helicopter blades.

Kind of feel like the stance mod system wasn't well thought out though. Specifically, making some weapon types only have impossibly rare stance mod drops so that you have to spend days and days grinding before you even know how a weapon actually works, which specifically works against having limited weapon slots and needing to level lots of different weapons for mastery rank.

If every weapon type had one extremely common stance and one extremely rare one, it would have gone off without a hitch.

  8. lol who talks trash about Banshee? Banshee is definitely underplayed, but certainly not weak. You've only recently even been able to get Banshee on purpose, so not many would have built it compared to other frames anyway. The parts were a pain to get, super low chance to get them from completing any mission in the game, i think. The only way you could get them on purpose was when they showed up as defense rewards, which again, was pretty rare.

If anything Mag deserves a spot in the OP way way more than Banshee. All those abilities are really weird and awkward to use.

  9. Right now the conflict is new and exciting, however given time the clans will realize that they gain _nothing_ from contesting a tax free rail and in actual fact it costs them quite a bit. Everyone has build rails and wants to use them. That will peter out soon enough.

Gamers are _really_ good at optimizing for maximum gain.

The problem with that logic is when someone decides they just want to grief and throw a rail at something, which isn't very expensive. You're forgetting that this is still the internet.

  10. They can afford battle pay in a sense. Does require them to build a Treasury in dojo ( clan or alliance node), in order for members of the said clan or alliance to donate credits into either clan or alliance vault ( it's the treasury's only function ). Just doubtful most would use it.

it's a little much to expect individual players in a clan to donate money to pay total strangers to fight for them when they're literally getting nothing out of it.
