  1. Possible spoilers if you haven't finished The Sacrifice!

    Spoiler

So, after finishing The Sacrifice, I had Excalibur Umbra and his melee weapon, Skiajati, equipped. I switched my frame to copy a color scheme and I switched my melee to look at a mod loadout I had on another weapon. Once I was done with both, I tried to switch back to Excalibur Umbra and Skiajati, but neither were in my inventory. I checked my codex, and it says that I own both, but can't use either? Is this a bug or are you not supposed to keep/use them outside of the quest?

True...but let's be honest here...every single game you play will look infinitely better than console and you will not be stuck in frame rate hell for the next few generations. You have access to a lot more games...and have overall a lot more utility out of your device...plus you get to play warhammer and that is priceless all on its own. And don't think you can ignore that last one!!! It is unforgivable! 😛

Then save up enough money to buy a cheap PC.

  3. The grind is fun... for a while.

When you spend (combined) hours of effort and get nothing, it gets tedious. You stop caring about kills or whatever little "fun-factor" is left after repeating the same mission dozens, even hundreds of times. At that point, you just want to go in and get out as fast as possible.

I'm at that point where I feel like my mental state deteriorates with every button I press, but I don't know how to stop. I'd sacrifice one of my kidneys for an auto-nuke button or, you know, a suspension from the game.

  4. >actually have 0 lith, meso, and neo relics

    >do elite onslaught up to zone 8 at least 10 times

    >literally only get radiant relics and Endo

    >disappointed, but now I have relics to open and Endo to burn

It’s OK unless one of the 10^193842047261638493726194949502716454827 bugs don’t occur or if you’re only trying to get Braton and Lato Vandal and Khora.

The chance of the neuroptics dropping doesn't stack or increase in actuality, but the probability of you not getting the neuroptics decreases the more runs you do.

I've done that one frickin mission about 70-80 times

    1

    1 - (1 - 0.12)^80 = 0.00003619209906631743026922362436

    1/0.00003619209906631743026922362436

    ~27,630

    5*80 = 400

    400/60 = ~6.6

The chance of you doing Pago 80 times and not getting the neuroptics has a 1 in 27,630 chance of happening, and if you only spent 5 minutes doing each mission, you've spent 6.6 hours in total. Honestly, if I were in your place, I'd farm a not-vaulted but high-selling item, sell it, and buy Harrow.

Or you could try sacrificing your unborn child to RNGesus and hope for the best. I decided to do the latter before trying to farm the parts, so I got both the neuroptics and systems in a total of 3 missions (2 for the systems, 1 for the neuroptics).

Okay, first things first so i don't get alot of hate i would have to say Limbo is a good warframe, great concept and one of the best for fashion frame i mean who doesn't enjoy a nice tophat. But with the release of zephyr prime, the next two primes are gonna be male since you know primes always come out is 2 males, 2 females and repeat. just because ive played warframe since the beginning of time i know that the next 2 primes are gonna be chroma prime or limbo prime. hopefully chroma because he is one of my favorites. Limbo on the other hand is a troll, Preventing other players from killing enemies, freezing ally bullets in place makes limbo a troll. it was very cool at first but let's be honest it got old pretty fast. We need to make him less of a troll and more of a support. Now im bad of coming of with ideas but i do have a few ideas.

    1. cut out the whole pausing ally bullets and have to only kill enemies when there in limbo

    2. Limbo can be passively generates an aura were if allies are close to him they gain energy regen.

    3. banish: is really only used in sortie defenses just to prevent taking damage, that can stay i dont mine that as long as i can kill enemies when im in the void and they arent. now i no thats alittle over powers and can be taken advantage off. so maybe change the fact we cant be damaged and replace it with a damage reduction or evasion ( cause what else give evasion besides agility drift, and in my opinion would be a cool concept) which of course based on power strength.

    4. stasis: is an amazing idea, when i play warframe i like CC or support frames, i rarely use dps frames. so giving limbo a CC ability was good the downside. i keep shoot my weapons that i took alot of time modding and putting forma's on. so unless your valkyr  your probably not gonna have a good time. i prefer it worked like equinox's sleep, but if activated in the rift or cataclysm it freezes enemies in there tracks based on duration.

    3. rift surge: if allies are in the rift they gain a damage multiplier of course damage multiplier is based on strength

    4. cataclysm: now personally i would like this so be a toggle. limbo aura from his passive expand's forming a personal rift around limbo and can go where limbo goes. that way those who wanna be in limbo can in stand next to limbo and those who don't, don't have too. but be missing out on things like energy regen and damage buff from rift surge. cataclysm would therefore be based on range and efficiency.

That would be a limbo i would love to play. i want to know some opinions of this. and hopefully some changes can be made to limbo before his prime. thank you

    1. If you're able to shoot enemies both inside and outside Cataclysm, while also freezing enemies inside the dome, any defensive mission would be a cakewalk. You can't lose if you bring a strong primary and secondary and squadmates with frames that buff damage. The point of pausing bullets and not being able to shoot outside the dome is to balance an already powerful ability.

    2. That doesn't make sense. Limbo cannot generate something from nothing. If you're implying that he does this while rift-walking, that doesn't make sense either; when Limbo rift-walks, he's separating himself to the Rift Plane (an alternate dimension to the material plane), outside the material plane. The Rift Plane provides an energy regeneration because, well, it's the Rift. Allies not in the Rift can't gain energy because they're on the material plane. It doesn't make sense for Limbo to provide an energy regeneration to allies while in the Rift because he is no longer on the material plane--he isn't in the same dimension as his allies. A non-material thing can't generate a material thing.

    3. You aren't a material thing. Why should you be able to damage or generally interact with material things? Same thing with the damage reduction instead of invulnerability. You no longer exist on the material plane. You can't half-exist, that doesn't make sense. How much you "exist" shouldn't be affected by power strength.

    4. Just use melee. If you've already dedicated so much time towards primaries, secondaries, and warframes, how hard can it be to upgrade one melee weapon? Limbo is a math magician that manipulates another dimension. Stasis freezes enemies in the Rift Plane while separating him and his allies. Stasis "putting enemies to sleep" in an unnecessary change in concept. If you want to incapacitate enemies while, at the same time, being able to use any weapon you want, use or recruit an Equinox built for Rest.

    5. Rift Surge surges enemies with Rift energy which can transfer to a nearby enemy if the surged enemy dies or leaves the Rift Plane. Why would it buff allies? Rift energy isn't strengthening.

    6. Limbo doesn't conduct the Rift, he manipulates it. Cataclysm opens a sort of "doorway to another dimension." The metaphorical doorway is unstable and unnatural to the material plane, which is why it can't stay open indefinitely. If you focused that instability and channeled it through a material shell of infested flesh and various other materials (a warframe, in this case, Limbo), you'd get a bad result. You can't be the doorway.

Sorry for any grammatical mistakes, English isn't my first language and I'm still learning. Note that 6. is a hypothesis, but I don't believe Limbo can conduct the Rift--I'm giving a possible explanation as to why.

  7. Mesa - Haven't farmed her yet.

Equinox- Took 9 HOURS from start to finish.

Ivara - Took a while, but I liked spy.

Harrow - Got the systems in 2 runs and neuroptics in 1.

Saryn - 23 Kela runs and loads of Arenas.

Chroma - Took a bit for the second Kela part, but the rest was easy.

Trinity - Farmed her before move to Ambulas, so it was easy.

I'd have to say Equinox was the worst to farm, easily.

I'm an Xbox player, so thing's may be slightly different. I too have a 50% coupon but it was just for Rifles (actually all primary weapons) was there a stipulation on your coupon that may mean you're looking in the wrong place?

No, it's apparently just for plat. Nothing else in the market is discounted.

A black hole launcher is a good idea, but:

    1. It should be separate from your 'BFG' idea, that should be a giga sniper rifle that you can use on a brand new final boss of the game or somethin' lol. The 'BFG' just seems too overpowered for normal gameplay, and having such a great weapon at the end of the game would really tie things up for it.

    2. It should last longer than the total of a minute it would take to charge up and shoot all of its shots; this can make it endgame viable, as the constant onslaught of enemies would overwhelm its power.

    3. Perhaps it should be a sniper rifle in itself, with a small black hole radius that lasts ~3 seconds. Yes, it should deal radiation damage.

    4. It should have the standard amount of sniper ammo, which is 72 shots.

    5. 300 standard impact damage for the shot itself (increases with Serration and other damage mods), and then with an unchangeable 100 radiation damage when getting sucked in to the black hole, dealing 100 damage no matter mods installed or enemy armor (except Void shields, like on eidolons, which isn't even really armor.)

    6. It should be a moderately fast-firing weapon.

    How's that sound?

    1. BFG > Sniper when it comes to this.

    2. Fair enough, but it needs a charge up and cooldown period so players aren't able to walk through any mission in a few minutes.

    3. The shot needs to have a bigger AoE radius (for the #5. alternative suggestion I have). Maybe 5-10 meters.

    4. Maybe half that.

    5. Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. It HAS to be the "end all be all" of weapons. Has to do enough base damage to 1-shot anything it directly hits instantaneously (shot has to be small, so you actually have to aim). The base damage is unchangeable with mods, but the radiation damage on the other hand...

The radiation damage and effect increases as the enemies are pulled closer to the black hole. Starts at maybe 100, but exponentially increases until/unless the enemies touch the black hole, at which point they become virtual spaghetti and cause the containment shell breaks, thus causing the black hole to implode and then explode. It also deals damage, but it doesn't instakill. It also does radiation damage, but the damage exponentially decreases with distance (total range of 25 meters).

There should be 2 firing mode: one where the shot has no travel time (causing self-knockback, a lot of recoil, and self-damage) and one where the shot takes a while to travel (causing little self-knockback and recoil, but still inflicts self-damage).

    6. I agree. Maybe a 5 second charge up (unchangeable by mods) and 5 second reload speed. You can hold the charged shot, but the longer you do, the more "unstable" the core gets, causing you to have more difficulty aiming, also inflicting a small amount of radiation damage to you.

Overall, if I didn't want this hypothetical weapon to be over-over-over-overpowered, your balancing ideas would be great. Thanks for responding.

  10. Well, life is what you make it. If existence is painful to you, then the meaning of life may be a projection of your suffering.

To me, life is a single period of consciousness where you have the ability of choice. The ability to do and experience things you choose to before you drift off into that good night. I’ve decided to dedicate my life to looking towards the stars (astronomy, cosmology) and consuming many forms of entertainment (TV shows, games, etc.). Find something you enjoy and, well, enjoy it.
