  1. Using a heavy slam attack while aiming directly up into the air allows you to rocket yourself upwards, and it's possible to animation cancel the slam and infinitely repeat it. Attached below is a little video I made outlining how to do it.

It's unlikely that I'm the first person to find this out, but I figured testing it on my own and documenting what causes the glitch would be helpful. It's easily replicated with every melee weapon and frame that I've tried it on, though there may be some melee weapons that don't allow this to happen. I'm using a Nikana Prime in this video.

  2. I sorta wanted to make a song implementing sounds from the default Shawzin, particularly in the Phrygian scale, but I can't seem to find the raw sound anywhere online. I was going to record the individual string plucks from in-game, but background ambiance gets in the way a little bit.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knew how to access individual notes somewhere within the game files, (assuming they're simply audio files being triggered on each note and not properly generated in-game) or if perhaps we could eventually get a Shawzin sound pack within the Warframe fan kit in the future. I'll probably end up just recording something in-game, but I figured a request wouldn't hurt.

  3. As the title suggests, the Impetus Prime Syandana started bending unnaturally toward the lower section as of the latest mainline update. It was alright before.

It's a bit difficult to capture with a single image, and is significantly more noticeable when moving around in-game. This only occurs while the Syandana is in motion, meaning it looks completely normal once it's returned to a resting position.

This is a pretty minor bug, but I'm concerned other Syandanas may experience the same effect. The Impetus is really the only one I've been using as of late.

  4. I adore the updated Shawzin and almost everything else I've looked at thus far. My only current complaint is with the lighting. It's unbelievably bright most of the time, and metallic surfaces look more comparable to shiny plastics. I'm unclear on whether this is a bug, or if this is how this was intended to look. Either way, I'm sorry to be harsh, but to be completely honest I think it looks awful. I'm all for new lighting updates, and the stuff you guys showed off at Tennocon looked incredible, but this simply does not.

I don't wanna be dramatic about it, but I really don't want to look at this, and subsequently will not be playing the game much at all if this isn't reverted. A lot of places kinda hurt my eyes right now.

EDIT: Turns out this was almost certainly an accidental lighting effect, as the patches appear to have fixed the unreasonable brightness and strange metallic texturing. I've admittedly still got mixed feelings about the current state of the visual updates overall, but this is massively better than what I was initially posting here about. Thank you kindly for fixing it!

  5. I know these remixes are being done to death, but here's my entry regardless:

EDITING THIS REPLY: So, I was fairly unsatisfied with how my upload actually sounded when streamed through Soundcloud itself. I've been working to optimize the mix for streaming in 128kbps mp3 as much as I possibly can, so this upload will sound different than it did before. (There's some new stuff in there, too. Also got artwork done, finally.) I really hope you guys think it's an improvement, too. You can still download the (new) lossless .wav upload, if you'd like. (Open the page and click More - Download file) I'm still not 100% satisfied with the stream quality, but I hope at least someone out there can find enjoyment from it.

Also, if you still like the original mix more (or just want to hear it), here's a private link where you can stream/download the it in 450kbps mp3:

Almost all of the transitional effects are sound from Warframe abilities, taken from the provided fan kit.

(I may also upload this to YouTube in the future for better audio quality - will update my post later.)

Best of luck to everyone! I'm loving the entries so far.

  6. Just now, Telogor said:

Berserker probably only applies to hitting with the blade, not the wave.

That's what I initially thought, but I've tested it, and both the blade AND the wave have the same inconsistency. I can get the berserker effect on both of them, but only on around half of my critical hits for some reason.

  7. So... I've noticed something with the most recent update. Previously, all of my melee mods applied a similar effect to Excalibur's ultimate ability, the Exalted Blade. Almost always, I'll run a melee weapon with the Berserker mod equipped. It always felt consistent, and would apply the effect on every critical hit I performed, until this update.

I searched through the changelogs as much as I could, and I haven't found any changes related to Excal/Exalted Blade/Berserker or anything that would pertain to this, but for some reason, the effect being applied is incredibly inconsistent, and I'd say probably half of my critical hits don't apply the Berserker effect. I've tested it, and it seems to work perfectly on the melee weapons themselves (specifically the Nikana Prime and the War, if that helps at all) but not while ulting with Excal.

I'm a bit confused, is there something I missed in the patch notes, or is this a bug?

Thank you, and I hope I'm posting this to the right section, as I'm very new to the forums.

  8. I don't see it listed anywhere, but Excalibur's Exalted Blade seems to no longer have the Berserker mod affect it anymore.

Was this intentional...? It kinda cripples my build, was just wondering.

EDIT: The effect still applies... Sometimes. There's absolutely no consistency, as roughly 60% of my critical hits with the Exalted Blade are not applying the effect, but every now and then a random crit will apply it to my weapon. What am I missing here?
