Fun secondary benefit I discovered while using this build when doing Therma Fractures solo, she fires her gun even when enemies are long out of range for me to detect (but still line of sight for the specter). I ended up getting used to using the plasmor's unique sound as a sonar. None of the bosses could sneak up on me. 😄

Trinity is a good goto for everyone. I have one as my 2 star specter wielding a Arca Plasmor, so she's always either supplying cover fire or topping off my energy. (and since she's 2 star, she is a little tankier but not too expensive to replace easily).

I used to have her as my 1 star specter, but I replaced her with a Nyx. I like having Nyx as my more disposable specter, as her specter can use all her abilities fairly frequently. Makes it nice to have against high level content that I may need a little backup for. Between the brain washing and her fear effect, she surprising keeps the heat off me. Plus I've seen her use her 4 ability quite a few times to either cover me when I'm hacking something (or other activity that leaves me exposed) or to defend a target from enemy fire. 

Still not sure what I want for my 3 and 4 star specters though. Their build costs make me want to preserve them for important missions that I can't find randos to help me with, and I'm just not sure what would be good. The energy limitation I feel makes it hard to justify some selections (I wish they had a 100 energy limit instead of a 75). I think I have Ember as my 3, and excel for my 4 star right now but those are subject to change. With ember's changes, I tend to use her more now-a-days and don't feel the need to have her as my back up. Banshee might not be a bad idea (as recommended above), but I do like using banshee a lot too. (that silence ability is worth it's energy cost!)

I'm thinking of trying Wukong as a specter, but I fear that like Valkyr he may not work so well (specters with continuous 4 abilities tend to have wonky AI issues with them)

[[PC] Update 23: General Bug Report Megathread]

I noticed that when playing with a controller and hitting the Y button in the arsenal to upgrade an item, the cursor will sometimes jump up and right on the screen and highlight the item above (secondary instead of melee item) before it can transition. So I'd find myself in my handgun's mod menu instead of my melee weapons.

I've been having the same issue, and started looking around in game to see if there was a good workaround. Didn't find one, but I noticed that in the Controls tab they added the ability to auto-select the control format which goes between K+M and many different controllers. I'm wondering if this issue is related to this, as I noticed the auto-detect makes the UI and usability freak out when trying to get around it.

I have seen the same thing. It constantly is flipping around, then will randomly shoot me (no damage) before trying to buff my shields. Sadly I only noticed it after I got back to the Door to Cetus and not when it first happened, so I can't figure out what caused it yet.

[PC Players: Controller or M/KB?]

Controller myself, as I find it more comfortable with my hands. I spend too long every day using a keyboard and mouse for work, so the controller keeps things easy. I just wish it was easier to use a controller with motion controls, as I find the controls used in console shooters like Splatoon minimize the gap found between the mouse and the analog stick by a metric ton but most controller companies don't make such things native for PC use. :-(

[Stuck on Rewards Screen Bug]

Same here, and sadly since we have to close the game from windows we can't use the bug report software to help DE solve the issue. If they need any extra data, let us know. I'm more than happy to help. In the meantime I'll attempt the no scroll workaround, though like others I'm on a controller which can make this finicky at best.

Can confirm, my daughter and I have been trying all morning and we can't get the bombs to blow up the conveyor. Wonder if they are invulnerable? If I'm too close they still blow me up.

[With Xbox play anywhere]

I don't see the PC version getting merged with the Xbox due to the out of sync updates, but I'd love to see the Xbox version added to the play anywhere list and available in the Windows 10 store. It would suck to have to start over, but to be able to play on my laptop then meet up with friends and family that only game on the Xbox would be fantastic.
