    What is special about Parasesis?

That you decided to grind so hard and ignore Baro so much that you had 1000 Dukats on hand.  That's it.

Lore-based and interesting backstory that makes Parasisis a hyper-specialized weapon meant for killing the being that betrayed our Tenno, all Tenno on the most loving and fundamental level? Nope.  In-game reasoning based on already stated and reinforced elements based on the Sentient vulnerability to Void energy? Nope.

You build this weapon because you either have so much free time that you can grind so hard it's an unpaid full-time job, or you've been playing nonstop every day since 2013.  If you don't meet those criteria you need not apply.

    What the fuk, DE?[

Dunno about you, but I started with 130ish ducats and took no more than 2 hours to grind up the remaining ducats to build it.  It's not that hard to get ducats.

It can be used for whatever honestly, it still cant out DPS my Umbra Blade

    6125235871.gif

but still its a nice change of pace I cant wait to use it when melee 3.0 comes out

I've been ignoring the new eidolons since there's nothing I want from them, but I'm interested in knowing what build you're using.

  2. A better way to handle the Ember change would be to have World on Fire not be affected by the range decrease or damage/energy drain increase of the "rework" if the Firequake augment is equipped, but remove the damaging capability from the ability.  If you're going to use Firequake on Ember then you're most likely using overextended also and don't care about the damage from WoF, you just want the CC that the augment provide for that survivability that benefits yourself AND your squad.  (Sure you can roll, as suggested on the dev workshop stream.  But that isn't going to stop the enemies from shooting at you and chip away at your shields and health until you eventually get downed in high level sortie missions.)

This way the people who want to use ember's WoF for CC with the augment can still use it with no nerfs to survivability and the players who cry about trash enemies dying in low level missions before they can get to them can have a chance to kill said enemies.

Those who want to use WoF for damage (by NOT using the augment) can use it and enjoy the proposed "rework" and the reduced survivability that comes with it.

They just took away an aspect that some people enjoy about past operations. Taking away/not having leader-boards is similiar to DE stopping selling tennogen for ALL warframes. Not a huge impact cause it doesn't affect functionality but there would be a SUPER angry mob over that tho because ppl enjoy expressing themselves via fashion while some of us enjoy expressing ourselves via leader-board stats. TL:DR - Some enjoy expressing themselves with fashion/colors/looks WHHIILLEEE some others enjoy expressing themselves in a leader-board/numerical tracking way. - HintHint - one of these you can't do in this upcoming event.

Or maybe DE just doesn't want to lose the players they gained through the recent Twitch promotion because of the 'competition' that comes with leaderboards and have negative articles written by pcgamer about the toxic side of the community, so they removed it for this upcoming operation which may be a smart move.

  4. So much salt over the operation not having leaderboards to satisfy the need for 'competition', so they instead 'compete' in this thread.

Jokes aside, I do hope the infested zaw exodia & part blueprints will be reusable or obtainable in some way after the event is over, similar to how Rathuum mods are still obtainable from the arena missions on Sedna.  Nothing is more irritating than not being able to complete a set of items exclusive to a limited event before it ends.

  5. Can you please increase the visibility for sentinel cores in the plains, maybe add an audio effect when one is nearby?  It gets difficult to locate the Teralyst's cores in the dark when you have to scramble to find them in tall grass while the Vomvalysts are shooting/dashing at you and the rest of your squad are already halfway to the Teralyst's next spawn point.

As soon as the macro is doing thing a human can do I don't give a sht, the guy is lazy, well, not my problem.

But some are totally unfair, and yep, for those they need to put some CD here and there, cause people abusing instant frame perfect slashjump in conclave is kinda not that fair for example. (An I'm not talking about anything you can spam with legit fingers :clem: )

Cooldowns for actions like that in competitive modes would be something I can agree with.

To summarize my thoughs of everything in this thread:

    1. Whether players are using a macro for their own reasons or able to perform actions faster than the OP due to better peripherals or simply having faster hands, no one should be limited to play at one person's pace whether it's because of envy or some other reason they have.
    2. What the user decides to do with macro functions determines whether it remains harmless (input  key 'x' and 'y' on activation) or it begins to tread into botting territory (resource bot farming in a typical fantasy mmo).
    3. Competitive modes (conclave and lunaro) are a different matter and the use of macros to gain an unfair advantage can be a problem.  Perhaps OP's proposal is better suited for those aspects of the game (for the sake of conclave players).

With that said, I'm done here.  There is nothing else to discuss.

Yes because I've made bots on a macro program. Bots and macros are essentially the same thing, just a simple automated process that responds to an initial input.

Go pick up a macro program that isn't a cut down one from a keyboard or mouse, they are nothing more than a BASIC scripting tool that doesn't need to have the code compiled.

Maybe when I decide to change my gaming peripherals or if I decide that I need to have a bot play a game for me, which isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Do you know what the difference between the two is?

Nothing. If you can write a macro code in basic you can make a bot, just most built in macro programs for keyboards/mice are cut down or simplified.

A simple macro application isn't going to scan an area for a specific resource then move/teleport the player to that resource to collect it before repeating the steps in a fantasy mmo, for example.  A botting program often does that and may also have macro functions built into it.  So I will ask you the same question you've asked me:  Do YOU know what the difference between the two is?

they use it for wepons.. to buypass   ^normal fire rate^ or stuff like that..

Got any examples of these bans to share with us then?

Also, that sound like the use of software like Cheat Engine to alter the game's mechanics.
