  1. Same thing happened to a friend of mine, we bug-tested and it turned out the Freeze was the cause. it was only happening on Corpus units though.

My theory is that if they get 1 shot and die on the same frame that the freeze effect is applied, it messes something up and they on't properly transfer into a dead state because it's interrupted by the Freeze state. I'm not really sure though, that's just a guess.

Try unequipping any freeze mods and see if that helps you.

EDIT: Could also be Fire, it's worth trying that as well.

  2. You do one loot run literally anywhere and have enough Derelict Coords (5-10) for an Orokin Derelict Capture. Then you scorunge that, every nook and crany, wallrun every vault and equip Thief's Wit (and Masterthief, if you have it). That gets you 5 - 10 Golem Coords. Then you build one Golem key. You do a boss run and scrounge it. You will find 5 - 10 Golem Coords in the Golem run. The boss drops no blueprint, it is a reward at the end. His loot table has 1 item slot (guaranteed) with 3 entries: chassis, systems, helmet.

If you do this with 2 buddies, you have 3x Capture (which is about 15 - 30 Golem coords), and then 3x to 6x Golem (which is another 15 to 60 Golem Coords) across all players. You can probably see how the perceived horrble gate is not that bad. What is bad is the build times. 1h and 3h is too long. More like 15minutes for both. I want to play the new content, not wait for it.

    This so much.

Hell, my friend and I were just blasting through Kril/Vor and we were getting 1-4 co-ordinates each run. You don't even have to hardcore grind to get the things, it's like taking candy from a baby.

Even if that wasn't the case, there's a lot of value to be found in things that take ages to grind out. It's not going to hurt to have X thing that takes ages to gain access to, grinding the game is FUN.

  3. I've already spammed this question in Livechat, but sadly noone responded to it.

I was asking for either randomization, or upgrades to increase the difficulty of the room.

Atm is just a 40 second run through.

It was fun at start, but it gets really boring after a couple of runs.

So try and break 30 seconds.

I really like it the way it is now, because a static course allows for optimization. It allows people like me, who focus on movement in games, to try and get the FASTEST time possible. Something that randomizing the course layout doesn't do.

Yea, I know it's possible to get a <5 second run, but that doesn't mean that you can't recognize that and "ban" yourself from using that skip.

  4. It seems to me, that any xp you get from others killing things, applies to all your items, while the person that actually kills something only gets the xp on his weapon/frame.

Which means, whenever you killed something with an ability he got xp on all his equipped items, while you only got it for your Warframe.

    OOOOHHHHH

That makes a lot of sense, thanks very much to you both for clarifying.

  5. Maybe somebody can help explain this to me.

My friend and were playing together, we had both just finished building the Hate, and were running Eligor to farm Rubedo and level up some stuff. After playing a few games, we noticed that he was getting up to 3 times the experience on his Hate that I was. This was despite the fact that I had been attacking people with it and he hadn't been, and that I currently have an affinity booster, and he does not. After our last game, we also checked the rewards screen at the end, and apparently I have been getting double the mission EXP O.o

    He was using

    Frost (30)

    Boltor (Leveling)

    Hikou (30)

    Hate (Leveling)

    I was using

    Rhino (Forma'd leveling)

    Hek (Leveling)

    Despair (30)

    Hate (Leveling)

Like I said we were farming Rubedo, so the only skill he was using was Snowglobe, the only one I was using was Rhino Stomp, and the only weapons we were really using were our primaries and our sentinels. I have a couple of ideas, however if someone can help me understand why this was happening, I'd appreciate it.

  6. 4.74 seconds for the whole obstacle course is completely impossible. I assume that is a typo, or you meant 4 minutes 74 seconds?

No, 4.74 seconds (http://i.imgur.com/eD4bSBo.png). If you wallrun on a bottom lip immediately to the left of where the course starts you, you can kick back and land right next to the finish platform. I was just using that as an example of something that completely breaks the course and DOES warrant a removal.

  7. It doesn't matter if they don't have shields. Damage is still added AND it slows them down.

    To elaborate

If your gun does 20 damage a bullet, and you have +50% freeze damage, you'll be doing 20+10 damage to normal health. However, to shields you be doing 20+20 damage, as the 10 freeze is doubled.

Whether or not the enemy had shields to start with will not affect your damage on their unshielded health.

  8. A leader board for fastest time which gets erased every week for the competitive players in the clans would great.

if this gets considered I would expect it to be done once DE are most certain the obstacle course can not be exploited in any way due to scum who refuse to play clean because they are so desperate to be number one on the leader board.

Creative thinking is just as much a skill as mechanical ability is =\

Obviously the ridiculous stuff (My record is 4.74 seconds atm) should be removed, however there are a couple really neat skips that take both creative thought to figure out, and mechanical skill to perform successfully.

All I'm saying is, there is a difference between breaking a course and taking a shortcut. You have to look at difficulty vs reward, and find a balance there.

  9. Ok, a little addendum to my previous video, it is possible to beat the course in about 5 seconds:

If you wallrun into a kick instead of just jumping, you can break 5 seconds no problem :O

In all seriousness, while some of these things need to be patched, hopefully DE has the presence of mind to leave the skips that actually require skill/don't completely break the course.

I'm in the process of putting together a small vid as well, I'll post it here when it's up.

    EDIT

  10. I wouldn't expect support to help you at all. I mean you left Warframe running and let someone else access your account which is against the ToS and EULA... and you openly said so.

Sounds like his friend did it without him knowing and giving him permission. I'm not saying that that will justify support helping him, but it's not like he was account sharing or anything, so no need to bust out the ban speak :O

  11. Guys I know you're working hard to keep the updates and bug fixes commig and we all appreciate the help.

But please for all that is holy no mission should REQUIRE crazy parkor multi jumps just to reach the exit.   (Infested mission on a Graneer ship, with a big circular tower in the middle of the room you have to run up walls jump from platform to platform.)

I'm not saying the game shouldn't be without challenge but the rewards for developing parkor skills should be access to addional chests NOT mission enders for those of us who havent figured out how to make 4 perfect jumps with multiple direction changes at the same time.

I know the room you are talking about. At the bottom and the top, there is a corridor to the left that takes you up or down. You can skip the parkour entirely. Trust me, I missed it the first time as well.

I think you're thinking of a different room. OP, are you referring the the room that allows for wallruns allong the outer walls, or the room that has 2 entrance levels, with platform in the middle that's in between the two entry/exit levels (height wise).

If you are thinking of the latter, you don't actually need "crazy parkour multi jumps" to get up to the top levels. If you jump to a side platform, you can get to the higher level from the inside just by climbing on the box and doing one wallrun (and jumping off at the top). From there you can just jump to another platform to exit the room.

  12. Yes, I'm pretty sure that's the room that is the room. The mini-map doesn't give you much (any) indication that you can go up that way. So I did the most obvious thing and tried to wall run it. Which is frankly not fun with a Rhino.

Just an FYI, you can get up with Rhino. Because the walls are curved, you're able to jump out of a wallrun and start a new wallrun on the exact same wall, and doing this gains significant height.

I really enjoy movement in games, and I enjoyed figuring it out with Rhino :P

  13. My friend and I stumbled across an issue where, when slide-attacking towards a closed door, you could hit the door before it opened, and by doing so would get flung through the ceiling as the door rose up.

It's only happened when using the Dual Zorens or Fang, so the assumption is you need a fair amount of speed to beat the door, but it becomes an issue when your character model gets trapped inside a ceiling fan (or some other set piece) and you are unable to finish the mission.

Sorry if this has been posted before.

  14. Really valid criticism IMO.

Even just a minor improvement would be adding in even more hidden locations that could only be reached by chaining movement skills, while still allowing players the ability to go through the game without even touching "advanced" movement. That way you still get trained by the game to perform them if you're investing time into really learning and exploring the game and environment, and IMO that's what the higher ranks should recognize and reward: investing time into understanding and learning the game.
