  1. Can I just ask one thing?  Who cares?

I get you think people should earn their place in the game and work hard for the things they want, but it's a video game.  It's meant for fun.  Frankly, this just sounds like more veterans whinning and complaining about changes.

So, will adding revives change your method of playing?  Highly doubtful.  Just play the game the way you want to play.  If you don't want to revive people, then don't revive people.  If you don't want to play with random noobies, then play with friends.  Set a challenge that states no use of revives.

Does it make the game easier?  Perhaps.  But again, who cares?  Let gamers be gamers and just learn to have fun with a video game.

No matter what you may think, this game isn't yours.  It's DE's.  It's their baby.  Their artwork.  And when something is too hard or not catering to the majority, of course they will tweak it or they will lose potential patrons.  How else can a free game make money through microtransactions if the only ones playing are that 10% who enjoy the pain of hardwork?

Don't pretend you're not acting like a self-entitled brat right now.  Learn to play a game for fun.  Not as some weird career.

Edit: Another thing, some of us have jobs and families we must take care of.  We have little time to farm for a specific thing.  Perhaps you can play on a daily basis and get a Warframe on day 1.  But some of us must take time out of our real busy schedules to get the things we need.  Hell, it took me 3 weeks to get Gara.  I've even been playing since launch on the PS4 and have yet to level every weapon.  So when DE gives people like us an easier time with farming, I am completely grateful.  So again, don't pretend you're not acting like a self-entitled brat right now.  Learn to just have fun.....and let others have fun.

  2. You make it sound like this was considered endgame content.... I mean....it was never intended for that.....wasn't there a Devstream at some point where the idea for open world on the first two planets was to entice new players to play?  And you do realize this game isn't even finished, right?  We're not playing a full game.  It has metaphorically been in Early Access since release.  Many open worlds are to come.  Many are scheduled to be harder.  You're problem seems to be that you want it now, not later.  But life doesn't really work that way.  Just sit back, relax, and learn to play a video game as a way to have fun.....not as a job or something.

I also guarantee if the bounties were way harder, you would still be here complaining that you can't have a casual solo grind for all of that standing.  Or you would gave complained the standing is so little for the amount of work you need to do.

If you're really so hard up for a challenge, delete that Arca Plasmor you take everywhere, remove every build you had to copy from iFlynn or someone because you couldn't make 2+2=4 and head back in.  Make the game a challenge....not whine that it isn't a challenge because you want to be a spoiled brat and have everything now.

Or go back to playing Fortnite; your choice.

  3. So, with these so called "nerf" updates people have been complaining about since.........well....the dawn of Warframe, being centered around making Veteran players not take away the fun of Warframe from the new players.  Frankly, I think this problem is something that should really be worked on, but it would be difficult to implement a nerf without angering many fans.  So, I propose this concept: level lock all missions with a bonus twist.  Hear me out.

When I first started playing, I did hate seeing high level players rush in and kill everything within seconds of starting the mission.  I felt rushed and the game felt boring given I mostly just walked from point A to point B without doing anything.  The stuff I gathered or was awarded was nice, but didn't feel deserved.  Frankly, if I didn't have friends keeping me to come back to the game, I would have quit a long time ago.  Going solo seemed the best option at the time anyway, but also boring.  I want to meet new people and explore with them!  Figure out boss fights, collaborating, and doing reworks to get through each mission.  That's what makes MMOs special, in my opinion.  I know many do not play this way, but this just seems to be the beauty behind what makes an MMO good.....again, in my opinion.

If we level lock missions, say like Earth missions, new players would be playing with new players and high levels would be playing with high levels.  And if we do this, why not make the higher level locks team you up against stronger enemies.  Many of you probably have thought by now as you're reading this, "But that would make finding a group that more difficult and no-one wants to farm forever for Rubido if the enemies make it that much harder to get that resource quickly," and that's true, but I do have a twist.

Most Veteran players' reasoning for killing everything so quickly and running straight for the exit is because of one thing: they don't want to keep doing the same old boring thing over and over to get the resources or items they truly want.  They want to make a speedy run through so they can finish their goal as fast as possible.  So what if as you progress through each level locked instance on Earth (or any planet, Earth is an example) by leveling up your MR, resources drop in higher quantity.  Rare items such as mods have an increased drop chance from enemies and when you complete each mission, you will most likely walk away with what you want after a few runs.  The runs won't be easy, but they can be completed.  That way, you will also have a reason to keep increasing your MR in order to get, say, Condition Overload, easier.

The game will present a challenge for Veteran players and reward greater for completing said challenge while also keeping new players interested in the game.  Of course, you could also leave the option of joining lower levels on their missions if they invite you to their party, but probably not allow you to take lower levels to your higher level areas to get better stuff early on (basically like how sorties and bounties are level locked today).

Edit: I put this in the general discussion area as well given I don't know where this goes.

  5. This 3x Reactor alert is nice and all, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has so many reactors and not enough things to use them on.  Therefore, I was wondering on your thoughts about having a reusable blueprint where we can turn Reactors into Catalysts and another where we can turn Catalysts into Reactors?  Reactors are greatly needed, but I'm sure there are others like me who would have preferred a Catalyst since there are more weapons than Warframes/Archwings/Pets to use them on.  I wouldn't mind the blueprints requiring a lot of stuff to make it, if it being made a punishing chore is something DE would like.

  6. I've started using the Simulacrum lately and I'm wondering if there could ever be a way to see our stats appear on a board or something that we can reset.  For example, how much DPS we are doing; our highest damage achieved; time it took to kill the spawned enemies; and so on.  This thread was mainly inspired by the fact I can't tell if I'm doing more damage with a certain mod setup versus another on some weapons.  Basically I've resorted to using a stopwatch to see which setup causes a bombard to die the fastest, but statistics would also be a nice help in that field.

  7. I'm sure many have posted this before as this has happened many times to my friends and I. The core spawned above ground for me and I marked it for them to find, but for some reason their's spawned 2,200m away underground.  Any news on fixing this as I'm sure DE is aware?

Agreed & not that I'm aware of. I've check forums and Youtube for a date of release.. but nothing.

It's mainly because they want it to be perfect.  If they set a date, then they run the risk of rushing and possibly leave glitches.  That's why they didn't release it last week.  Also, many are speculating it to arrive this week after the 5th due to the contest on that day.  But that's only a guess.
