  1. I am going to make this idea simple but something I would like to see is the enemies that the infested kill, get infested afterwards. Like after death, giving it enough time while you are still in the game, what if they turned infested? Like the infested end up killing a squadron of Grineer, giving it a few minutes or so, they started twisting and morphing into chargers. Personally I would be very amused and slightly awestruck to see such a thing happening.

  2. From what I heard they had a story for most of the stuff but it was scrapped as no one cared enough. The infested are pretty much a parasite made by the Orokin as a way to win the war but everything turned on them. I would be more curious as to how Ancients were made as they are infested but the Orokin I believe made the parasite? Maybe I am wrong or maybe the ancients are infested orokin. The tenno are here to stop the Grineer taking over the universe as everyone is getting out of Cryo-sleep and save themselves from being dissected and such I believe. It's more like we are a third faction in this war.

  3. After mulling it over with the design council and constructive approval from other members, I want to post my opinion on what if we could have a storyline and how it would be done.

COMMENT OPINIONS AND QUESTIONS DOWN BELOW

First off I want to point out that it's suppose to be a flexible idea as I know warframe can't scrap the whole game just to make a storyline and I will answer all Q&As in the comments if there seems to be some flaws or something you don't understand.

    MY THOUGHTS

Now my idea for the beginning of the story is you are a tenno that recently got out of cryo-sleep and you are held in captivity (AKA a prison) by Captain Vor and (I'll post !!! for parts that can be changed to be more flexible)(!!!) you are going to be sold to the Corpus for dissection and their means of 'science'. There will be a cutscene where you and every other tenno in the jail end up breaking out. Now how this would start is you would still be in an asteroid or a grineer ship you would just end up adding an extra room to the whole tenno map involving the prison or you can use one of the other prisons for a tenno rescue mission. The cutscene will be different thought depending on how many people are there and what tenno you are. (!!!) Each tenno will have a different way of breaking out, Mag will pull the door, Loki will teleport out, and Excalibur could just cut his way out or instead (!!!) maybe the Corpus end up attacking, power failure happened, and the doors were then opened. There would be multiple cutscenes but how they would work is instead of them being fully automated, they would be flexible too (!!!) the cutscenes could involve no matter what type of warframe you are or what guns and weapons you have the actions will be the same. So lets save the mag puts her hand on the excaliburs shoulder. Well what if you aren't a mag, you were a rhino. Then the Rhino would instead put his hand on the Excalibur's shoulder, so the same actions would be repeated if that makes sense. Allowing a more flexible storyline.

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN WITH PEOPLE WHO BEAT THE STORYLINE OF A MISSION AND THOSE WHO DIDN'T

Now people might get upset for why you would change all the missions or make it so you have to watch through all the cutscenes or how everyone will want to skip them. Well how about there is two seperate sides and they can use the nightmare mode system. You can't do nightmare mode of that mission unless you have beaten that mission, then it would just act like a normal mission after you beat it. Lets say you wanted to do the main story with your friends, will the person who is host will be the leader and if he hasn't beaten the mission, it will play as a storyline mission instead if that makes sense? As for people who already did the storyline mission, what if people of the storyline mission can only join others of the storyline mission unless invited to join and the people who have beaten the storyline missions can only join people on the regular missions unless otherwise invited. Also regular missions won't have the cutscenes so you can farm with ease.

    HOW THE STORY WOULD GO

Now as for how the story would work in my opinion there would be multiple cutscenes of course and it'll be about (on mercury) escaping Captain Vor and each mission will lead up to that. At the beginning Lotus will contact you and help guide you through to escape while each thing you do will contribute somehow. That reactor you destroyed just shut off a section of the map allowing you to go through some defense systems that are now offline. Or that vip you just captured is now your hostage or maybe your use of DNA to get through a high security system. The missions off to the side will be side missions. you could be exploring an unmapped side of the ship for the infested mission and you will get a cutscene of the infested spores. Then infested chargers show up as the tenno end up brandishing their weapons to fight. In the end you end up fighting Vor, escaping, and Tenno shows you the Tenno faction. After that each planet will have their own story to them, as you would end up doing Venus to do your very first actual mission with other tenno, focusing on a search and destroy mission of the Jackal prototype as each part of the mission will involve getting data on how to find him and so on so forth.

WHAT ABOUT THE EVENTS HAPPENING LIKE THE GRADIVUS?

Well in my opinion, the storyline would be what's happening on the planets while the events are what happening on the current moment. Each story would be like a mini story of what the hell you are doing on a planet or why you are doing this or that. Either way the storyline would just mostly affect the planets and planets to come.

Anywho thank you for reading my opinion for a storyline, ask questions in the comment, and if there is any issues in the thought  I will try to re-change it.

  4. Has anyone noticed that the ancients had to come from somewhere and the infested are affected by parasites. So what if the ancients had a homeworld, a place where they lived before the parasites took over and infested them all.

Well my idea is how about we use the moon Enceladus as apparently, it's an actual place that may or may not support life. There would be ruins of the ancient structures, plant life, some water, but of course ruins and infested plantations. Since there isn't much you can do here, my idea is what if you made exterminate missions, capture missions where you have to capture certain ancients to take for research and to understand more about the source of the infested. There would be raids to get some artifacts there that aren't exactly orokin but it's artifacts to show that they had some form of technology. Since cryopods are apparently everywhere, defense missions will of course be there. Maybe there will also be some sabotage missions from the Grineer or Corpus that tried to visit there.

Since Corpus and Grineer probably didn't originate from there, there should be an abundance of Ancients, yes, but that would be a pain for everyone as you would have to fight hordes of ancient disruptors, healers, and even toxics. So what if the infested.... infested feral life forms? You made other types of enemies for phobos only, why not do the same for Enceladus? Now I don't want to get crazy with ideas for feral life there because that would be pushing it too far, but I thought it would be interesting to see other kind of animal like life forms.

For each planet, there should be a boss, right? Well my idea for a boss, is an infested Tenno. Plenty of Tenno have died countless times, well why hasn't one been infested? What if for a boss, there was an infested Rhino. The boss would be bigger then the average Rhino, yield no shields, have a good amount of health and definitely a good amount of armor as it's a Rhino. It would also be able to use psuedo-abilities which where it will be like the Rhino's but it's not the same as the infested can't take full control of the powers. The Rhino will be able to charge at the Tenno, knocking the person he's targeting back dealing damage to them and knocking down anyone else in the way. He could slam the ground, causing everyone to fall over and deal damage to their shields. When his health reaches down halfway, he would unleash a roar and move even faster and deal even more damage. What would he attack with though? He would attack with his own fists or he would pick up something like an explosive barrel or rip a chunk out of the ground at throw it at the Tenno if they are out of reach.

Why have an infested Tenno though? I thought it would be amusing as it's never really happen though and it would be very neat to fight. I may edit this, give better details but I have a feeling most people might not like it. I thought it would be a pretty cool idea though, seeing where the ancients came from.

  5. I feel like this goes here, so my idea was to make a warframe story. It's basically a story I'll type up for everyone read on here. It'll be about the daily struggles of warframes, mainly revolving around 'Ex' (Excalibur) and Hammer (Rhino, nickname given to him from his extensive use of the Brokk Hammer). They would be the main protagonists while the antagonists would be the bosses, Stalker, and maybe even rival warframes.

    One idea for the story:
Series of Tenno were lined up, from Excalibur to Loki and to Mags. Everyone was tense, as they stared at the door, gripping the Bratons tightly in their hands. Ex hacked the console to open the door, as on the other side was a warzone filled with Grineer. Their mission was to kill Captain Vor and stop his reign of tyranny. As the door open, every Tenno raised their guns, as the metal walls slowly slide away. On the other side was Lancers, Troopers, and Grineer Heavy Gunners waiting on the other side, having their guns raised and pointed at the Tenno. Everyone was frozen, as time seemed to have stopped. No one fired a bullet, as they knew the moment they did, blood would be spilled. As the suspension was building up, a familiar voice can be heard in the background as it yells," Grineer! Attah!" as everyone began to fire at each other. Bodies fell left and right, from Grineer to Tenno, countless lives were being lost. Ex ran past everyone else with a Loki beside him. They ran past enemy lines, as they went after the target they came for, Vor. Shoots can be heard in the background and groans of the Grineer. Ex and the Loki came into an enormous and spacious room with a giant platform up ahead. Lotus can be heard over the communications device," Vor should be here, try to kill him as quickly as possible", but all they could see was nothing. Then a laser shoot out, hitting the Loki and knocking him to the ground, dead. Ex looked over in the direction of the attacker, he pulled out his Skana with lightning quick reflexes to block the incoming Cronus. On the other side of the blade was Vor, his devious wrinkly face grinning at Ex, speaking in his native language, as he tells Ex 'What a nice Excalibur suit you have, it'll look better mounted on my wall!' as the Tenno did a back handspring and began to fire his Mk-1 Braton, shooting at the aged Grineer. The 'old man' just laughs and stabs his sword in the ground as an impenetrable shield appears around him and a group of Grineer appear around him, aiming their guns at Ex, but it's too late for them as the Tenno has pulled out his Skana, stabbing it into the ground as javelins fly outwards, pinning each Grineer to the wall. Vor smirked as he pulled his sword out of the ground and threw his Shocker Mine at the Tenno, as it stabbed into his shoulder and zapped him. As the Excalibur fell to the ground, his vision began to fade, as the last thing he saw and heard was a bigger figure jumping out and hitting Vor with a giant hammer, then picked up Ex and carried him off.

That's all I am going to do for now, I hope you guys enjoyed it, if you guys want I can continue working on Warframe stories and hopefully you will like them

  6. she is a stingy wench.  I got lucky that i got 2 bps when i first unlocked her, but it took another 30 runs just to get a helmet xD.  And that was with 0 drops at all. then she started dropping systems consistently.  You're just gonna have to rough it out. Might i suggest doing something else then coming back to her after you've cooled off and have the patience to farm her?

You don't know how long I've been doing that. I did a one hour farming session just to get systems. Left, came back, and repeat.

  7. Instead of the host choosing, there should be a vote to kick people. Just in case host is an jerk, but lets say they invite peopled before starting a game, host should still be allowed to lock the party?

  8. I am not sure if it's suppose to be like this, but each time I kill Kela De Thayme, which has been been over hundreds of times, it doesn't seem like she likes to drop Saryn Systems, or even any Saryn blueprints AT ALL. I am not sure if the drop rate is suppose to be so low, but is there a chance you can fix it, because me and a friend just came back from a speed run of 20+ missions against Kela and she has yet to even drop a blueprint at all. I currently, and luckily, just have Saryn Helmet and Saryn Chassis but no Saryn Systems. I even heard it took people months just to get the systems. I love this game and all, I am just asking if you can increase the chances for blueprint drops?

  9. I am setting a challenge for all fellow Tennos on the battlefield. You must solo each boss by yourself, then post below how you did it for most of them, what you used, and if you had to use any revives. This challenge is to prove your skills and how great you are, the post below is a way to give proof on how you did it, because a man simply saying I did it isn't enough.

If you weren't able to beat all of them, post the strongest one you were able to beat alone.

I will edit this later, because I haven't finished fighting all of them. What I did though is I set up a side-arm that really conserved ammo, like a Lex and used that until I reached the boss. Then I used a primary weapon that had damage only mods and brought along a couple of rifle ammo packs. It allowed me to deal as much damage to the boss as possible and have the ammo needed to hurt it.

I used an Excalibur Warframe, Braton, Lex, and a Cronus. Everything was potatoed and my Excalibur was only formaed once. I had the Shade sentinel to help keep me out of trouble and regenerate my shields when I needed it most. Some bosses were hard to defeat as it took a lot of ammo to defeat them, like Sergeant Ruk, but within time and a rifle ammo pack, I was able to defeat him. Just needed to avoid his bullet attractor. Vay Hek was pretty easy, as he wasn't exactly that powerful, I just run away when I was reloading, then released my onslaught of bullets on him when I was done reloading. Vor, everyone can beat Vor. The Jackal isn't that hard as long as you keep on shooting his legs, just avoid his mines as MUCH as possible as they one hit kill anyone. Sgt. Nef Anyo wasn't too hard, having a weapon that can deal electrical damage is a good way to get rid of him as it stuns him, allowing you to deal as much damage as possible. The only hard part is when he turns invisible when you are trying to shoot him. J3-GOL3M wasn't exactly hard to beat, he is just scary if you don't have iron skin or resistance to poison. The way I defeated him was unloading everything I had on him before I died from his poison, also attacking far away didn't help as he would just throw poison at me. The Raptor was a pain, what I did was I hid in the greenhouse-like building since I didn't have snow globe like frost, and shot at him from time to time since his shields didn't regenerate non-stop, and taking cover when his missiles launched really help. Tyl Regor was pretty easy, as all I did was kite him non-stop and avoided hand-to-hand combat. Hyena was pretty tough, as his shields would regenerate NON-STOP, and he had a good deal of armor or health, unsure which it is but killing him wasn't easy, as it required me to use several ammo packs and health packs as the intruding Corpus and the ice halving my shields didn't help at all what-so-ever. Phorid wasn't exactly a challenge, it was very tedious, as all he had was a BUNCH of health and required me to use all of my ammo, but never came close to killing me. Kela de Thayme (not sure if I spelt it right), wasn't too hard, just her rollers were an issue, and it took a couple of ammo packs but after a while I got her, standing at high elevations really help as it keeps the rollers out of the way more easily and it allows her to miss more often. I have to unlock the other bosses before I can continue this but so far it's not so hard.

  10. Also, this was my other idea, they should do other kinds of factions. Just for fun. Like maybe the infested corruptor got to the grineer and it's now infecting them and turning them into infested. OR, the Corpus are trying to get revenge. Maybe Corrupted are on the move or something. I don't know, it would be a great idea though.

  11. I am not sure if this is the right place to talk about it, but I am going to talk about it anyways.

The Grineer Fomorian event is AMAZING. It adds a whole new thing to do, as it makes you farm for a certain kind of resource and then lets you use them in a certain way. Like the Alpha and Beta corruption mixture is a pretty nice idea. Plus the idea of having rewards is really nice.

Now my idea, is this should be a daily event. As in once a month, week, maybe just on the weekends. Whatever, it just needs to be a daily event in my opinion. Now I wouldn't say all three ships should appear, but one ship every weekend would be nice for everyone to participate in, try to get rewards once the ship is over, then do it again when it reappears. It would make a really nice thing to do.

    Please make it so.

    Thank you for reading this.

  12. Hello, I am just going to post about things that most people don't know about and should know about, and I will constantly be editing this once I learn some more.

    Hostage Missions:

    1) When the hostage loses all of his/her health and shields, she becomes downed like an fellow ally, which will allow you to revive him/her. Sadly, there is no warning or notification telling you that the hostage has been downed, so keep an eye out.

    2) You do not need the hostage to complete the mission, of course most of you might know this already.

    Secret Areas:

For those of you that are newer to Warframe, there are several secret areas on several maps and missions. You might not notice them or you might think that secret areas are only in the void. I would advise looking up a youtube or the link I posted below. This video is not mine, nor does it show all of the secret areas, but it gives you the gist of it. So feel free to explore, get out there, and solve the ways to new rooms.

    Like here

    White Streaks:

Some of you have seen white streaks on the walls or in random locations, this is an indication that you should wall run there. Most people wouldn't think of wall running in certain areas, so the developers were nice enough to give us an indication of where to wall run.

    Polarity Slots:

I am just explaining this because there is no tutorial explaining what they are or what they are for. Polarity slots are the symbols on the top right corners of the mods or the slots in your arsenal which hold your slots. If you match up a mod that has the same symbol as the slot, it decreases the cost of the mod by half. Now if you put a mod with the wrong symbol as the slot, then it will increase the price by 1/4th, and if you just put it on a blank slot then it will just cost the same of course.

    Alert Missions:

Like with the polarity slots, most people who start, don't know what an Alert Mission is. Well an Alert Mission is like a mission that is in dire need of being finished in way, that probably doesn't make sense, but what's so special about them? Well Alert Missions tend to give you a giant wad of credits from what I've seen about 2,000 to 20,000 credits. That's not all, as from time to time, they give a random reward. Now they aren't actually random, it's randomly generated, but you can learn what the reward is through Warframe's Twitter, Warframe Nexus App, or the Warframe Alert app.

How do I unlock Alert Missions? Well you don't exactly unlock them, they just appear randomly. How do you make them appear more often? Well the answer is simple, try to unlock as many of the planets and missions as you can. The more you have, the bigger the chances you have at getting alert missions.

What's the best weapon? What about the best Warframe?:

I just want to explain this while I am at it, be unbiased about the weapons and warframes. There technically is no best weapon to get, as there is pros and cons to them. Now there is the most powerful weapons, but that doesn't make them the best. For an example, I don't think you would want to use an Ogris to kill infested chargers up close nor would you want to use Dual Vipers to shoot enemies far away.

Weapons and Warframes are all situational and they are most powerful in the right hands of the right user. For people who like to be all up in the enemies face, you would be using the Rhino Warframe, Fragor or Scindo, and probably a shotgun of some sort, not a Loki. Sure Ogris and Supra are REALLY powerful, but they require a lot of time and investment to get, especially if you aren't part of a clan that has already researched them. Also, there is no best Warframe, I mean let's be honest. I would love to see a Rhino beat a Loki in rushing a mission or a Loki fully taking a boss head on in melee combat.

    Which sentinel is best?:

I am going to be unbiased like the topic above, the sentinel is the one that suits your situation the most. Deth Cube would be for the more offensive players, wanting to dish out as much damage as possible. Wyrm would be more for the close quarters people, as his Crowd Dispersion deals in an AoE around you and apparently deals damage along with stunning/staggering the enemy around you. Shade would be the more supportive sentinel, as it cloaks you when enemies are nearby, which helps when you are hacking, reviving someone, or you are trying to stealth but doesn't really deal as much damage.

What is a clan? What is so special about them?

Now for the newer players, a clan is basically a group of people that you are part of and allows you to hang out in a 'Clan Dojo'. What a clan dojo is, it's a secret building for only you and your clan members, that you can design and work on together. What this allows you to do is make labs, dueling rooms, obstacle courses, and whatever buildings that shall be added in the future. The most popular thing about clans is the weaponry you can research and make. They tend to be more powerful then most weapons and the only way to get this is research them through the clan then make them. Aside from that there is nothing else so special about clans aside from keeping in touch with friends or making new friends, and beating Clan Vs Clans competitions.

That's all I have for now, I'll try to add some more stuff into the post later. Feel free to leave replies about other topics I should explain and please share this with others as it's always nice to know new things.

    Thank you for reading this.

  13. I am not sure if anyone talked about this before, but someone needs to make like a... self mod or something of the sort, so every time Banshee does her 4/nuke/ultimate, dubstep plays. OR, or, they should make that as an addon you can buy or make, so it'll play dubstep when you do that. That would personally be awesome. Because I mean... she is a sound warframe.... WHERE IS THE SOUND?! I would at least expect a loud screech instead of a... wwwwssssssshhhhh.... or whatever the sound is.

  14. Seriously, off topic, I can't be the ONLY one who wants there to be some sort of giant Orokin titan to fight in the void. When I mean giant, I want it to be so big it makes the Jackal look smaller then a puppy. I think it would be epic in a way to try and dismantle it piece by piece or several things can happen when you damage it in certain places or stuff ._.

  15. This is a random thought and I am not sure if anyone thought of this before hand but I am just going to put it out right now and hopefully you guys will like this idea.

What if, you guys could make a fighting simulator room. Where it would spawn the enemies like in the old tutorial and the mastery tests. You could set it up any way you want and you can just mess around and kill guys for tests. I know this idea isn't that good but I thought it would be cool if you could make a holographic fight simulator room to mess around in.

Or what if instead of you fighting them, you could make them fight each other and watch for your amusement.

Like I said it's just a random idea I wanted to post, I doubt it'll ever be used.

    Thank you for reading this.

  16. I am not sure if this is happening to everyone, but there is this bug for my clan, my ghost clan where when I donate resources, it fails to donate the 1 out of the 1201 resources I give. So when we try to complete buildings, it's frustrating because there are moments when I don't have salvage yet someone yes will, but we can't finish it unless all of the resources are donated at once for some reason

When the resources aren't all donated at once, it acts like it never got 1 extra of each resources, so for the resource stats, instead of (example) 201, 651, and 1201, it all turns into 1200, 650, and 200. I am not sure why it's doing this and when I try to redonate the 1, it keeps on saying donation failed.

Can someone please tell me what's going on?

    Thank you for reading this.

  17. 1. You buy the clam emblem for (30 plat I think?) from the market

    2. You login to the warframe main website, not the forums. Click your name in the upper right corner and click Account Management.

    3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click upload emblem. It will cost you 150 Plat to upload one.

From the main website about emblems.

       1. Clan Emblem must be a 128x128 .PNG file. No exceptions.
       2. The fee for uploading Clan Emblem is 150 Platinum.
       3. We review all submissions. If we approve your image, you will see your Clan Emblem implemented in the nearest hotfix or          update. If we reject it, we explain to you in an email why your image was rejected. Your Platinum will not be refunded.
We will reject at our own discretion. Do not upload offensive and inappropriate images. Do not take the risk and upload                  questionable images.

    4. Wait till it's approved and it will be implemented and ready to use the update/hotfix after its' approval.

FRACK! I spent all of my platinum already, not knowing that it costs 150 platinum to UPLOAD THE EMBLEM! FRACK!

  18. I bought an insignia and I was wondering how I use it or put it up in this case and how it works. I am wanting to put a clan emblem but I don't understand how to or what to do. Any advice would be grateful.

    Thank you for reading this.
