[Hunting tools UI not scaled/not usable on controller]

I am using a Playstation 3 controller with an XInput wrapper to emulate a 360 controller, using the Playstation button set.

 

When equipping a tranquiliser rifle for hunting in the Vallis, I am unable to select any auxiliary equipment, i.e. echo lures. I can select one from my gear wheel, but the usual "Hold R1 for actions" prompt does nothing, so I can't change which lure I'm using.

 

The keyboard controls still work, so I can hold 2 to access my lures, but it's still a bit of a faff.
