[ESC key stops working]

To make farming the atmo systems for vol solaris more fun (second stage), this happened to me probably 20x. Makes it really fun when your squad is voting on a mission, and you can't open escape to leave the squad or accept the mission.

I could never track down exactly what I did to make it happen so many times, but I think it might be related to trying to quickly dismiss the menu and/or switching between controller (I use an xbox controller on PC).

I even remember this bug almost two years ago.

I'm getting so tired of this bug because it breaks the game for me. I use an xbox one controller which worked fine two days ago and then a small update broke this for me on windows 10.

As someone mentioned above, I closed the game and that did not fix my problem. I had to close the game and restart steam, which then fixed the problem for me.
