  1. ..i don't think it's wise to go after it. do we even have an idea of it's use numbers as a starting point for this?

    moreover, can we wait at least until the entire melee rebalance AND the secondary weapon post-catchmoon hit lineup settle?

    What weapons are supposed to be fun if the ignis is supposedly less fun or boring? whenever I hear a "it's not a fun weapon" I question what is to those who say a certain weapon is not. personally i find the flamethrower amusing at least, even when i don't use it.

  2. ..this has killed my good will in the long haul. I haven't played since this hit the consoles after seeing the reaction it got over there (and how little they changed it from the PC version, then had to patch things back in, of course).

    In fact, further seeing the commentary about the upcoming UI (and where the inspiration comes from), im just utterly baffled, and no longer interested in playing whatsoever, despite everything about to come up (which at this point i think is why this happened/ is happening when it did)

    it's amusing actually how little foresight was in this. was there polling, was there any care to any of this ui related stuff, or is this all just full steam ahead "we'll get it right" sort of thinking?

    I just don't get this.

  3. there really isn't one for a hybrid set up on PC in menu's unless you are not near the keyboard and mouse and like such a thing. as an option, fine, but i didn't ask to have no d-pad support at all, and to redo my controller binds just to have a second less effective mouse in menu's.

    this whole thing still mystifies me. it actually made switching from m and k to controller and back less seemless than before in addition to removing the old controller style id use for general menu's, because if i have to interact in mission i have to hit my keyboard functions, and click the chat window now.

    just... why was so little of old scheme not preserved in the change at all on PC, and in such a limited form on console? 

  4. ..throwing my voice in with those who don't like this controller change at all.

    i play on PC with a kind of hybrid scheme, and that's even more so now just to get by. i used mostly M and K in the menu with mostly controller in missions on PC...

    until this change came along and slammed my ability to swap between with an audible clunk, only way i got by was by leaning on the M and K in menu's more. it slowed up even the occasional menu moves i did on controller to the point i was frustrated then. simple things like controller scrolling through menu's including dialogue gone, now im using a cursor with no way to revert...

    I'm posting late for personal complaints, but i am here to say im really surprised it was passed through cert to consoles before they even did any further modding of this scheme beyond rejigging the confirmation to skip cutscene button through the PC version. really?! I find this to be nuts, and even more so that from the start there wasn't a revert option.

    That just doesn't sound like the kind of option to take at all when doing a differing scheme like this.
