  1. Pointless and misguided. I use carrier because I disliked running around for all the drops. Now it's being split up into specific selections, curated pickups? Hay sucks, I like picking up everything and not looking back.

    I don't use any other sentinel or companion because it is just so easy to go with carrier for all my loot collecting needs. This change will see my return to scrambling around for loot... I won't have a big problem with that, I've done it plenty, but why the breakup at all? Just make all Tenno absorb loot within a specific radius. Then the change to Carrier is fine, it becomes a replacement for ammo mutators. I prefer that to looking around for hidden loot stuck in walls, the air, anywhere I've already been.

    I don't see why we should have to put up with refitting existing setups in other sentinels in order to accept this change. New precepts means less space for tanky mods. I like tanky sentinels... I'm sure it's a small change, this may not be the popular opinion on Carrier or Vaccum, but it's my input on it. 

    TL;DR: proposed change to Vaccum sounds bad, if this is how it's going, just remove the power and grant Tenno a localized loot singularity.

  2. Tenno, it seems that Captain Vor has ascended into a form of pure energy and become "one with the void"... all so that he could engineer our own downfall through sabotage. He has infiltrated my ship's computer systems and rendered the "Fullscreen" option to default to unchecked, since the second to last update was implemented or thereaboots. I can hold him off for now by making sure I open up my launcher screen options each time I start WF up for the first time, Tenno, but it would be of great value to the Lotus for someone to suggest a solution about this, before the Grineer discover my location. Appreciate the help, Tenno.

  3. The sigils appearing rotated in different positions from my arsenal is in need of fixing. It's more annoying than I'd have at first guessed.

     

    The flames exiting from my Asita Rakta Sydana are non-existant unless a stealth kill is performed, but I liked it more when I saw them all the time. Get rid of the stupid mechanic to brighten up the sydanas, and I'll be happy.

  4. My game's visuals have become horrible directly after this hotfix. I see fuzzy edges, halo effect, tearing, screen stutter, and it basically looks like I'm playing the game through an old VCR tape cassette. I've never seen this before. Is this because I rolled back the OMEGA CATALYST DRIVER to a more stable release, e.g., not the latest drivers that caused me so many crashes? Help.

  5. I hope you are really kidding that you didn't see this change coming. The clue that it wasn't right is that Desecrate didn't work on bosses before Pilfering Swarm was a thing. This is not going to be reverted; hope you enjoyed it for the short time it was exploitable like I did.

    I'd be down for this event to be a permanent addition as well, the amount of experience per Ogma Elite was sufficient for me to lay 5 forma down between Fluctus and Velocitus, and then to finish them off!  Say, replace the Earth node with Ogma Elite, it was much more fun to play than the current Earth Archwing Interception has been.

     

    I have a feeling that this event is a prelude to things coming soon.

  8. Seriously sorry that I'm still running into this problem. It happened again tonight after 40 min of survival.  This is the same problem I ran into last night after attempting a revive. The headless Tenno that can't move aside from spinning around, the inescapable UI menu screen that I actually was able to escape ONCE earlier after a revive thanks to another player telling me to hit Esc key twice. Didn't work the second time, and my mission reward summary turned in my total play time, over 40 minutes, and oddly 15K credits, but nothing else at all...  this is the absolute worst experience.

  9. Ok, I understand your point, it's normal on MMOs to have this lag. It's the latency due to the distance from the host and my own configuration. Perhaps I wasn't clear because I wanted to rant about lag.

     

    The problem is the game's glitching out on revive. I should have simply revived regardless of the host's location. The game did not do that for me, the game froze and buckled under the pressure, and never recovered. Then the afk rule kicked in and denied me all my collected loot. In fact, it acted like I joined the game in the last 30 seconds and nothing in the past 25 min was received by me.

  10. I can't remember the last time I found a match where lag wasn't affecting the game to the point that I could score stealth kills on enemies in the heat of battle. This, paired with the lag causing a random and hard to reproduce or even detail the steps to reproduce glitch of the UI causes a new problem.

     

    That problem is the little-wanted and much-despised AFK rule that cops players who are dead by the end of the mission. This just hit me in a Saturn survival. The first time I went down I got the UI glitch and couldn't revive. I noticed the lag was higher at that point than it had been all along.

     

    When I clicked revive I didn't get to play more. I instead saw my headless body rise in the camera angle of the deceased, and when I tried to move I only spun around in place. My UI menu was available down where my body was but it was unplayable. When the mission was over, I got screwed out of all mission milestone rewards, e.g. the 5 minute ones. All because the game glitched and I couldn't properly revive.

     

    This is a huge problem and it's been around for at least U15 launch.

     

    TL;DR: Getting screwed out of survival mission rewards due to glitched UI on revive was incredibly un-fun!!

    EV Trinity and Slow Nova are essential, Loki and Nyx and Banshee are optional. Banshee set to stun is a marvelous way to play this tactical alert.

  12. That map that recently was exclusive to supporting the Grineer during certain invasion missions, where you drop into the galleon, work into the breaching room, and cross the umbilical into the Corpus hold - has zero medallion spawn areas.

     

    I ran through with Thief's Wit and touched on every marker without encountering one.

     

    I think it needs them added promptly - it's frustrating when the only non-defense or interception mission offered by the Syndicate is on a map that has never accounted for them before.

     

    This could affect the other unique Invasion maps too!
