    First of all, this is not constructive. Second, I have yet to mention anything to do with energy costs. Those are not set in stone. Third, she is an off dps as only her Fae's Gift and Latern give any sort of offensive capability outside of her ultimate.

    I have a hard time seeing how this kit is, as you say, useless in other content. The Faerie dust CC is quite strong as it stop enemies from shooting. Furthermore, synergized with Latern makes them even more susceptible to damage. The buff is ment to be powerful but limited due to how powerful it is making the Titania have the choice. Buff herself or continue to buff allies. Sure she lacks damage from her abilities themselves but that is not the point. This kit is ment to deceive enemies and enchant allies.

    The only thing that would make her Eidolon viable is her 2nd ability and 1st ability, but the issue with thay is her status immunity is based on of she has enough Razorflies and while it is only 6, it would be inefficient to put her into an Eidolon team, but thay also means she is more viable than she is now offering to take the place of Harrow to an extent. The point was to give her a more consistent buff that is usable everywhere.

    This kit is made to deal with hordes. Tons of aoe and debuffing with a hard CC that can tople any foe save for bosses and Eidolons.

    Titania, Titania. Oh much I have posted about you and oh how little has come of it. I've been put out many times by certain members of the community for my ideas for her, but now I am here to take another crack at this again. Why? Because I have no life. Straight honesty. Eitherway lets dive in.

     

    Core Problems

    What are Titania's core problems? Well they are quick simple to outline. She is to M.A.D(Multi Attribute Dependent), she is not cohesive, and she is out of date in comparison to other frames.

    Now I am always one to make a frame work regardless if there is a better option, but that does not mean frames have to stay subpar. Take Nezha for example. He was a decent frame that some people loved, me included best frame fight me, and some people did not though he had his uses. However, he lacked strength and his own identity, a product of dated design. Then our lord and savior descended and blessed him with a rework that made his whole kit synergistic, retained the aspects that made him Nezha, and revitalized his strength in current warframe we know today. Nezha went from fast Rhino to well Nezha. The jack of all trades he always wanted to be.

    Time and time again Pablo has shown us good design and I will be using his thought process for this work like I did in other ones before. Futhermore, I would like to expand upon Titania's initial concept and revitalize her kit for today's warframe.

    This rework will be done with making her an off dps support as that is what the community seems to want from my inquries and from answers on my other posts. However, you can read about a full on exalted dps rework in my other post.

     

    tldr: Titania has core problems due to how many arrtibutes she needs and lack of cohesion that comes from being of older design.

     

    Passive Woes

    It has been hammered home that passives are supposed to add flavor to the kit and not full supplement it. However, that rule has been bent many a time when we look at Baruuk and Hildryn, but I digress. Fact of the matter is that passives can be essential to a frame. 

    Looking at Titania's passive, it comes off has extremely situational and rather in effective in most organized play. The Titania player is rarely the one leading the charge, which is what this passive seemingly wants you to do, and they are certainly not spending alot of time outside of Razorwing. So this passive fall flat and leaves much to be desired in terms of usage and adding flavor to the frame.

     

    tldr: Her passive is out of date and is counter-synergistic with her kit.

     

    Royal Presence/Fae's Path(was Trampoline)

    Titania's presence alone enchants her surroundings with fae energy. Titania's affinity range is increased by 25%. Furthermore, Allies and Titania receive 25% Evasion when within her affinity range. Additionally, enemies killed within Titania's affinity range grants her a Razorfly.

     

    The key things to note here is that not only are making the passive useful, but it will be useful even while in Razorwing. This adds just the right about of flavor and utility that would suit an evasive Fae like Titania. Also the Razorfly produced will fly to Titania and be stored for use on her other abilites.

    The effect can be marked by an aura simlar to Oberon's energy in his Hallowed Ground. Furthermore, a new ui element will need to be added for the Razorfly count.

     

    1st Ability: The "Oh my Lotus, where the Vay'Hek did the enemies float off too?"

    Spellbind has always been that one of those abilities that no one likes to see as enemies scale up. Simply put, it is an extended rag doll that makes it hard to damage enemies effectively as even still hitting enemies sends them flying into space to go see how Empyrean is coming along!(breathe) It is more of a panic button or used to stack Razorwing Blitz. 

    What is nice about this ability is the status immunity it can give you which is always wonderful. In essence the ability is an equalizer. CC enemies off allies and ward them from futher enemy attacks. However, this ability is so poor compared to other equalizers. Oberon's Hallowed Ground does continual damage and has a continuous CC that still keeps enemies in and easily dps-able position and it futher buffs his other abilities. Hildryn's Haven regens allies sheilds/Oversheilds, deals damage to enemies, and grants Hildryn's passive. Wisp's Reservoirs give health and regen, movement and attack speed, and a stunning aura. So my aim is to try and make it a more effective equalizer.

    And before someone tries to hit me with the "it is a first ability excuse" Hildryn and Saryn would love to have a word with you.

     

    tldr: Spellbind is too inconsistent and offers a small boon compared to other abilities like it.

     

    Faerie Dust/Spellbound(was Spellbind)

    Titania scatters faerie dust in an aoe around of her. Enemies hit by the dust are charmed by Titania for 10 seconds. At the end of the ability, enemies are breifly stunned for 2 seconds as they shake off the charm. This ability can be cast on allies or her Latern to have the effect originate from them at double the range.

    If Titania has 6 or more Razorflies, she can choose to hold the ability and cast the empowered version, consuming the Razorflies. The empowered version will also cleanse allies of status effects and render them immune to status effects for the duration of the ability.

    Base Range: 20 meters. All numbers scale with mods save for the stun duration post charm. Respects line of sight.

     

    Yes, I am moving Latern CC to her first ability. Charmed is an effect that causes enemies to walk towards you whilst being unable to shoot. Think of it like her current latern except much more potent. 

    Here is were we add her own flair to the kit. The concept of Razorflies spawning from killed enemies comes from the ability Tribute. She is quite literally taking the essence of her enemies souls to birth her Razorflies. As such, she can expend these Razorflies for added benefits. 

    The effect for the regular cast can be the same as it is now in game but with more dusty particles. The empowered version should have Razorflies flying out from the epicenter. They should also surround warded allies.

     

    tldr: Her first ability is now a strong equalizer that CCs and buffs allies.

     

    2nd Ability: Is that it?

    Tribute has always been a fickle ability. Sure, it provides 4 different buffs that are semi-useful but tend to fall flat especially in the latter levels of the game. They were cool in concept but in execution are more or less of no consequence. Other frames that offer buffs target damage or survivability and those are way more useful than the ones Titania give currently. I must reiterate, cool concept.

     

    tldr: Second ability while unqiue is inconsistent and falls flat as the game progresses.

     

    Fae's Blessing/Royal Gift(was Tribute)

    Titania targets an ally and enchants their weapon with fae magic for 20 seconds. The ally gains +20 status chance and +25 critical chance. This effect can be moved to another ally by Titania by recasting the ability at half the energy cost. If Titania does not target an ally with the ability the buff is instead put on herself.

    If Titania has 15 or more Razorflies, she can choose to hold the ability and cast the empowered version, consuming the Razorflies. The empowered version grants 10% lifesteal and 20% increased firerate.

    Base Range: 35 meters.  Buff Duration and firerate are affected by mods, all other stats are not.

     

    This is ment to streamline this ability while still retaining character. It is a simple buff that you can manually rotate from ally to ally to increase their dps and their survivability. This can also be put on herself to have the same effect. It is a potent buff and that is why I limited it to one at a time. Think of the rotation effect almost like a psuedo-channeling much like Wukong's Clone.

    Supports have always delt with healing and buffs so I wanted to add her own twist on this. Think about Fae's lore and the weaponry they enchanted for heroes.

    The effect should look like a small crown of leaves and then change to a small crown of flowers for the empowered cast.

     

    tldr: Now her second ability is a strong buff thay is balanced by the fact it effect one ally at any given time.

     

    3rd Ability: The "I'm safe....right?"

    Her third ability, while changed to make it feel better, still flies away if you so much as breath on it. Sure it comes back but at that point you might be dead. It is also extremely inconsistent as its attract radius moves around due its ballon-like nature. There is no point in spending the energy to use this ability as it will more than likely kill you in high stress situations. 

     

    tldr: Poor, inconsistent ability that will liekly fsil you especially in higher levels.

     

    Latern

    Titania conjures a Latern made of plants and the earth and fills it with fae energy. The Latern lasts for a 20 seconds. While deployed, the Latern will emit an aura that increases the damage enemies take by 25%. The Latern can be moved around by recasting the ability at no cost.

    If Titania has 10 or more Razorflies, she can choose the hold the ability to cast the empowered version, consuming the Razorflies. The empowered version increases the range of the Latern by 50% and also reduces the damage enemies deal by 15%.

    Base Range: 30 meters. Base deployment range: 25 meters. All values are effected by mods with the samage reduction cap out at 50% reduction.

     

    Now there is no inconsistency with Latern as it is a deployable now that can be easily moved. Furthermore, the synergy with Faerie Dust makes it quite a potent ability. This goes along with the idea of trickery and deception that fae so love to do.

    This would look like a Japanese styled Latern made of natural elements such as grass, stone, plants, and even water with energy illuminating the middle. The debuff area should have a ring indicator much like Harrow's Thurable.

     

    tldr: Latern is now is consistent debuffing ability.

     

    4th Ability: "It's a bird! No it is a flying space ninja robot faerie with duals pistols of death."

    Most everyone will agree Razorwing is Titania's redeeming ability. It is what you play her for, to be this flying faerie of death and while it it is fun, it was brought down by the other glarimg issues in her kit that made her more dangerous to use. Now with a much stronger kit, this ability van shine brighter. It only needs one small edit.

     

    Razorwing

    Titania shrinks down and summons Razorflies while she gains evasion and access to her Dex Pixia and Diwata.

    If Titania has any stored Razorflies, she summons more than he base 6 to fly with her up to a max of 12 summoned in totality.

     

    This is just to add some benefit from the new Razorfly system.

     

    tldr: Her 4th shines much more now that the rest of her kit has been cleanes up.

     

    Closing Thoughts

    Titania is not in the best of spots these days as her CC, support, and dmage all get out classed due to their inconsistent or lacking nature. With these changes, I believe she can become extremely relevant especially in Eidolons and survivals. Im current still working on augment ideas and editing her current augments. Feedback is welcome!

  3. This is a full kit rework tldr is at the bottom of each section.

    So I have many a times spoken on Titania, and also many times been shot down due to my ideas. However, I am back once more with a permutation on my ideas for Titania. Originally, I felt that she should retain parts of her kit that makes her this off support dps, however, I know feel as though she should become a full on dps frame. Here is my reasoning for this.

    Titania seems to be a support frame that was made with the same intention as Harrow. A frame that does damage and supports via their damaging capabilities. Now before you yell about her cc, allow me showcase why her abilities make me feel like she is a half baked Harrow.

    Spellbind is a quick cc that provides her with status immunity which extents to her team. Harrow has a similar quick cc that only buffs himself. 

    Tribute is single target spell that produces a buff. Each buff seemingly should help the team but is really more in favor of Titania's strengths. Accuracy reduction? Animal buffing? Slowing enemies? All to make her more survivable. Those buffs really favor her.

    Latern is a large aoe cc that is used to drop aggro on herself. Her she diverges a bit from Harrow. However, this is still ment to be a supporty ability.

    Razorwing buffs her self and gives her heavy damage. Sound familiar?

    With this said, I will remind you that I am not saying she is Harrow. What I am saying is that she is trying to do what Harrow does maybe not the same exact way but it is what she wants to do.

    So what are we left with? Either we make her a support or a dps. If I am being frank, I'd rather her be dps as a counterpoint to Oberon's supportiveness. Remember, the Fairy King and Queen in all lore written about them since Shakespeare as had them in love but at odds with each other for territory or over random squabbles. Wouldn't it be more lore accurate to make her more formidable? 

     

    tldr -Titania should be made a dps to pull away from her supportiveness and give her own identity along with becoming a counterpart Oberon.

     

    Abilities

    (All numbers are base stats and can be modded unless stated otherwise)

     

    Fae step(used to be Trampoline)

    Rather than giving her increased bullet jump and leaving behind that werid buff zone for allies, instead change her bullet jump to a short range teleport. It will travel the same range as a bullet jump and flow with movement the same. However, it will instantly drop enemy agro.

    This takes inspiration from dnd and the spell Fey step. The idea is to give her an interesting survivability aspect coming from the passive similar to Wisp but one that stays true to fairy or fae powers

     

    Spellbound(used to be Spellbind)

    Titania targets a single enemy binding them in place with fae magic. If this enemy dies, the magic jumps to nearby enemies binding them as well. When killed, bound target produce a Razorfly that flies to Titania side. Propgation and Razorfly spawning still occurs when allies kill the target. These Razorflies deal passive damage to any enemies near Titania. This damage increases with each Razorfly gained

    Root duration - 5 seconds

    Propagation radius - 25 meters

    Passive damage - 300 slashing damage(multiplied by number of Razorflies that Titania has. No cap)

     

    Tribute

    Titania sacrifices some of the Razorflies she has gathered to increase her firerate and critical chance. Sacrificing Razorflies also grant Titania brief invincibility.

    Number of Razorflies sacrificed - 50% of current amount stored

    Firerate increase - 20%

    Critical chance increase - 20%

    Invincibility duration - 5 seconds(unmodable)

     

    Royal Command(used to be Latern)

    Titania commands some of her Razorflies to disperse and assail enemies. Enemies targeted by Razorflies are marked vulnerable, taking more damage from Titania and her allies. Titania gains extra health from killing marked enemies. If enemies are Spellbound, the new Razorfly will recieve the command and jump to the propagating targets marking them as vulnerable.

    Base enemies marked - 5(plus 50% of current Razorflies)

    Additional damage taken - 25%

    Extra health granted - 100(unmodable. Caps at 1500 extra health.)

     

    Razorwing

    Titania shrinks down and gains the use of her Dex Pixia and Diwata. While in this form, Razorflies protect Titania with their lives intercepting incoming damage.

    Damage reduction -10% for each Razorfly currently held (capped at 90%)

     

    tldr All abilities save for Razorwing has been changed to make Titania a closed reasource dps frame.

     

    Closing thoughts 

     

    I believe these changes will make her more fun to play and more useful in the game as it is today. Most importantly, it gives her an identity. Any feedback is welcome. I do ask for someoen to help me with editing her base stats, I am quite bad at that.


  4. I am here to make a pretty much comprehensive rework for Titania that is open to edits. To make this rework ww have to first address why Titania is a sub optimal frame.

     

    What is Titania's issue? She is a jack of all trades but is sub optimal at all things instead of medium optimal. Take for example the other jacks of all trades in warframe. Rhino, tanky cc and damage buffing some movement as well. Nezha, tanky movement debuffing cc and healing. Oberon, tanky healing cc utility. Titania tries to be one of these but fails. A commom trait of the warframe jack of all trades is the ability to be tanky in some aspect. Even Wisp has tankiness in the form of invisibility and vitality mote.

    So what we left with when talking about Titania? She is literally paper, with her one tankiness coming from artificial methods such as 50% chance to avoid damage and her Dust debuff reducing enemy accuracy by 50%. This does absolutely nothing for her survivability. If one shot does all your health then you have a 50% chance of living or dying and that is ludacris when we have so many squishy frames with better survivability not left to chance.

    Then we have her cc. One word, inconsistent. Sure her spell bind makes enemies stop shooting but the secomd you hit them they go flying into space. Sure her Latern now returns to it cast location, after 20 seconds in which time you would be dead. Not to mention that distraction cc is highly inconsistent unless paired with invisibility. Her only good cc is her Tribute knock back and Razorflies agro taking and even those are flawed with the knock back being single target and the Razorflies dying in seconds.

    Then we move to her buffs. Oh her buffs. Again, inconsistent but also they do not scale nor are they useful in warframe currently. Ive already explained why Dust is bad. Entangle seems to not work like all other slows in the game leaving enemy actions unslowed. Full Moon simply doesn't work because runing a companion with Titania has issues with her extremely low health pool. Thorns *insert laugh track* reflect damage is only viabled if it is at ludacris multiplications such as with the new Amalgam Javlock mod.

    Surely, she must have one redeeming factor. And yes she does or else i would not be playing her. Razorwing is by far her best ability snd dare i say one of the most fun abilities in warframe. You become a space ninja butterfly of death. However, Dex Pixia is hesvily limited by ammo economy, Dwiata has mediocre damage and at high level all it taked is two good shots from a Gunner to end your fun cause lord knows those razorflies dont last.

     

    So now the question is, how do we fix her? Well the best method is to solidify her role. Jack of all Trades like Oberon/Nezha/Rhino, Supportive with Damage like Wisp/Octavia, or Exalted Dps like Excalibur/Valkyr/Mesa. I err on the side of Supportive with damage for she is the Fairy Queen, however, with all things considered it would be much better to place her into the jack of all trades category as well. Hence, my rework will try to capture than aspect.

     

    Lets start with Spellbind.

    First lets remove the free float aspect and change it to work similarlyto when rhino stomps.

    Base aoe range should be increased to 15 similar to how Harrows Condemn has high base range since to build him optimally you do not want too spec to much into range, but it does scale with mods.

    Reduce base duration to 10 seconds at base since the cc will be much more consistent. Scaling with mods

    Increase animation speed by 30%

    Remove Status immunity from this ability, it shall be moved elsewhere. 

    With these changes this ability becomes a good instant cc that will be the only hard cc in her kit similar to how Valkyr and Excalibur have their quick hard cc.

     

    Next is Tribute.

    Remove the picking of enemy types to get buffs and instead give the players a choice using a rotunda similarly to Ivara's Quiver.

    Futhermore, when activating the buffs, allies have to be within range of Titania to recieve them.

    All of tjese buffs base duration is 10 seconds

    Dust - Now grants 20% damage reduction as it make Titania harder to hit. This is inline with the same concept from Mirage's damage reduction. This ability will scale with mods in terms of power strenght scaling up to 90% damage reduction. Allies also recieve this damage reduction if they were in the initial cast range of 15 meters.

    Entangle - Make the slow actually work like all other slows and slow enemy actions as well. Have it start at a base 10% slow scaling with mods up to 30%. This is mainly consistency to match other slows. Base range is 15 meters scaling with mods

    Thorns - Have a small burst of damage with activating this ability, about 400 scaling with mods, and then a residual aura that staggers enemies and bleeds them. First aoe is 15 meters at base and then the aura is 10 meters at base.

    Full moon - Increases the health and damage of all companions by 20% scaling with mods up to 50% increase. Does not effect ally's companions. Initial cast is 15 meters of range.

    These are now useful buffs made more powerful and we retain a bit of her team aspect.

     

    On to Latern

    This ability needs to change completely in order to be useful. Make it this instead.

    Titania goes invulnerable for 5 seconds. All enemies in a base 15 metter radius are attracted to the Fae queen as she summons this shimmering latern above her. This beguiles them to attack her. All damage taken in those 5 seconds is stored and then released as a burst heal around Titania grant brief cc immunity and status immunity. Alternatively, Titania can cast this on an ally for them to recieve the effects and have the aoe originate from them.

    Immunity duration is not effected by mods and only one target can be render immune at a time.

    Base status, cc immunity duration is 10 second scaling with mods.

    Base range is 15 meters scaling with mods.

    Base heal scales with a one a 1 to 1 ratio to damage taken multiplied by 2 which is affected by mods.

    Titania is still able to do other actions while Latern is active and she can use it while in Razorwing.

     

    Lastly Razorwing.

    Dex Pixia now refunds 10 ammo for every kill

    Diwata changes

    Remove 50% Evasion while in Razorwing

    Razorflies will now actively protect Titania instead of damaging enemies. Razorflies now have a link bond to Titania in which they take 50% of the damage she takes. They do not grab enemy agro any more and do not fly away from Titania. Instead they float around her as she flies. Razorflies should be fully healed on each kill.

    These are simple optimizations to Razorwing and some redundancy clearing up. Diwata should be more useful and she should be league more survivable with her new as a whole so the removal of certain elements such as Razorflies grabing agro and the evasion make this ability much better overall.

    With this new kit, Titania can now function as a dps with some suportive techniques and decent cc. She will finally be a jack of all trades. She will now scale to higher levels and be more survivable overall. I do hope de takes this into consideration, Titania needs more than the small qol rework they gave her.

    Entangle - Make the slow actually work like all other slows and slow enemy actions as well. Have it start at a base 10% slow scaling with mods up to 30%. This is mainly consistency.

    Thorns - This should jam enemy guns for 10 seconds at a base range of 15 meters scaling with mods of course. This one just makes sense and is more consistent.

    Full moon - Increases the health and damage of all companions by 20% scaling with mods up to 50% increase. Does not effect ally's companions.

    These are now useful buffs made more powerful as we remove her team aspect for her and focus more and her self sustain.

     

    On to Latern

    This ability needs to change completely in order to be useful. Make it this instead.

    Titania goes invulnerable for 5 seconds. All enemies in a base 15 metter radius are attracted to the Fae queen as she summons this shimmering latern above her. This beguiles them to attack her. All damage taken in those 5 seconds is stored and then released as a burst heal around Titania grant brief cc immunity and status immunity.

    Immunity duration is not effected by mods and only Titania is rendered immune.

    Base status, cc immunity duration is 10 second scaling with mods.

    Base range is 15 meters scaling with mods.

    Base heal scales with a one a 1 to 1 ratio to damage taken multiplied by 2 which is affected by mods.

    Titania is still able to do other actions while Latern is active.

     

    Lastly Razorwing.

    Dex Pixia now refunds 10 ammo for every kill

    Diwata changes

    Remove 50% Evasion while in Razorwing

    Razorflies will now actively protect Titania instead of damaging enemies. Razorflies now have a link bond to Titania in which they take 50% of the damage she takes. They do not grab enemy agro any more and do not fly away from Titania. Instead they float around her as she flies. Razorflies should be fully healed on each kill.

    These are simple optimizations to Razorwing and some redundancy clearing up. Diwata should be more useful and she should be league more survivable with her new as a whole so the removal of certain elements such as Razorflies grabing agro and the evasion make this ability much better overall.

    With this new kit, Titania can now function as a dps with some suportive techniques. She will now scale i to higher leveld and be more survivable overall. I do hope de takes this into consideration, Titania needs more thsn the small qol rework they gave her.

     


  6.  Here are my thoughts on Wisp. Allow me to give context to my point of view. I am a min maxer at heart and whilst I love seeing frames optimized, I do not want to force some meta over creativity. As such I try my best to make very frame viable well into the higher levels. From that, I have a respect for frames that can scale like crazy especially those that are more of hidden gems. With that being said, Wisp does this poorly. 

     

    Wisp is a fun frame. She has a lot of mobility, great survivability, and great buffs that are useful all around. However, she falls short in some areas and I believe if we tapper up these areas she will become a great scaling warframe.

     

    Reservoir

    This ability is great. I must applaud you DE for making a deployable feel natural on such a high mobility frame. However, it lacks a streamlined feel to it. Whilst it is good that you can cast this ability while in motion, i find myself waiting too long on the cast to the point that it is uncomfortable. It clashes with her mobility greatly.

    This can be rectified in two ways. Either keep the cast time as is but upon cast the reservoir summoned had all three buffs in it. This is the most streamlined option and would make it much easier for to make use of Pax Bolt and Growing power. This would also help her function more smoothly in an extermination setting and other missions like that. This would require redistricting the amount of reservoirs to three for balance sake

    The other option is to speed up the casting animation greatly and allowing the reservoirs to be deployed at range. Speeding up the animation about 50% and giving the ability to deploy at range would streamline the ability nicely. This would make it easier to combo reservoir into breach surge and even, by extension, help her in extermination missions. This would make it significantly harder to use Pax Bolt and Growing power, however, it would help smoothen her kit.

     

    Will-O-Wisp

    Absolutely fantastic ability. The amount of control and movement this offers is interstellar and on top of that you recieve damage immunity. There is not much to be desired here, but I will mention that prehaps the held version of this ability either gain more move speed as it flies or.flies faster in general. It would be great if the held version of Will-O-Wisp pace replicated that of Nezha's Blazing Chakram when held. This is a small detail but would make her feels leagues my streamlined.

     

    Breach Surge

    This ability pains me. Out of her whole kit,, this ability and Sol Gate let me down the most. After reading what it was to do ans watching the video, I was excited to use it and I was met with disappointment at the results. My expectations was that I was recieving a Pax Seekee esque ability that would turn Wisp in a great multi target damage dealer. It made me think of all the single target weapons that could become sk good in her hands. More specifically snipers and shotguns. Yet, it did not work the way I though it did. I find myself only using this ability for the mobility it offers. Here are some things that if changed can make this ability crazy good.

    Remove line of sight on this ability. Now I understand this is probally put in place to prevent the abuse of a bkind that goes through walls, but i feel as though it hinders this ability. I suggest that blind only activate when enemies are in line of sight but thos who are not still get marked with the surge.

    Make the damage jumping much greater. The chance of triggering is a fine stat but the damage those balls do should be edited. They should do full damage and then multipled by a precentage.

    Remove the necessity of having to teleport to the reservoir to double your range. This double range should proc when standing in the zone of a reservoir.

     

    Sol Gate

    First off, very pretty ability. Very well designed in look. However, this ability is poor in many other ways. 

    The ramp mechanic does not apply to the beam but rather it seems to work as iff the enmy is behind debuffed. I feel that the beam should just ramp only when fixated on an enemy. It own damages inscreaes.

    The reservoirs should do mroe for the ult. Prehaps the add more special effects like the red mote increasing the beam's width and the blue mote doing rh einscrea 50% damage.

    Sol gate toggle should make the beam tick faster so it is able to do more damage. Furthermore,, the base energy cost is to high currently and could use some adjustments.

     

    TLDR- Wisp has massive potential. With simple changes, she can florish much like the reservoirs from her owm dimenson

    She might not have.  But you're splitting hairs.  The point is that her pet was meant to be a big part of her kit.  That was one of the many things advertized about her in her development cycle.  It ended up not being that way.  Which is my personal major let down for her.  But I still love her regardless.

    Nullstar iirc can be casted in the air and is a one handed animation.  Means more smooth transition in and out of the ability.  Better is debatable.  she has an augment that lets her gain stars back without having to recast.  Which can be seen as an up over Revenant's mesmer skin.  My complaint about the ability on him is it's terrible feeling via slow and stuck to the ground.  And that it clashes with his kit.  Making his passive impossible to proc and the main point of Reave (health/shield regen) pointless.

    Dunno why you're being so aggressive.  Any of the top tier dps frames can kill enemies just fine without her slash procs.  We can make our own melee weapons and secondaries which vastly out perform normal weapons and can kill level 200 enemies without the aid of Garuda.  And all the top tier primaries can melt those same leveled enemies in nearly the same time as our custom made weapons without help.  It seems you've misunderstood my point.  I'm not saying her capability of forcing slash procs is a bad thing to have.  I'm saying that I don't ever see Garuda being asked for.  I am saying that our weapons alone can kill 200+ level heavy armored enemies without it easily.  I am saying she doesn't really help any of the top pick dps frames because their lethality is already insane without her.  Garuda isn't bad.  She just isn't a meta pick.

    Baruuk's kit stumbles over itself.  Lull's sleep effect is negated by his desolate hands when they hit them.  His desolate hands doesn't give him consistent DR because they always fly at enemies unless you nuke your range.  Which ruins lull.  Not to mention elude doubles the range in which those daggers seek enemies.  And giving them to allies doesn't give them DR.  The best way to play baruuk is to nuke your duration and have high range so you can spam out your abilities to burn your erosion meter away.  I wouldn't mind his abilities effects being secondary to their primary goal of burning meter if his 4 actually felt good to use at high level.  But it doesn't against heavy armored enemies.  His combos are cool.  It sets his exalted aside as being a unique one and not just a damage ability.  Unfortunately the cc is the worst kind being ragdoll which hurts both your teams and your own DPS.  You really didn't need to bash on Excal.  Not very mature of you.  You didn't really counter my point about him.  Just called him boring and insulted him.

    I particularly like this statement the most.  Because it really just sums up how you've approached this entire response.  You've basically taken offense to someone disagreeing with you and then went out to personally attack the person when you could.  You didn't really counter any point that was made.  You attempted it once with the talk Of revenant's mesmer skin.  The rest was just dismissive trash talking.  I explained the negatives/perceived downsides to the frames you listed and attempted to explain why people have been increasingly critical about Warframes as of late.  You can disagree if you want, i'm not here to try to convince you.  Just to inform you since it genuinely seemed like you wanted to know the other half of this discussion.

    I'm not a min maxer.  I don't play the most optimally.  I was merely informing you of that side of the game.  In their eyes if the gameplay isn't interesting enough to warrent playing or doesn't out right replace something currently being used then it's a failure to them.  There is nothing wrong with that statement.  It's just a different style of play.  In my eyes i've always liked Khora, Gara, and Garuda.  I initially liked Baruuk until I spend some good time with him.  He's still alright.  But overall he needs a lot of polish if I want to play him a lot more.  The only two frames you've mentioned that I out right dislike Is revenant and Hyldrin.  And i'll avoid going into why to not make this reply any longer than it already is.

    For the record those are the only 2 frames DE has ever released that i've genuinely disliked.  With what I know of whisp I mostly like her current kit.  My main issue being her 1.  And that her 4 seems to be just a damage ability that leaves her rather vulnerable.  I don't mind pure damage abilities if they're designed well.  But it's getting a little tiring that DE (aside from Hyldrin) has been on a binge of having a damage ultimate lately.  When those are almost always nerfed because they end up being too good.  And then they end up not being worth the cost.  But preference wise I always prefer synergy and utility above everything.  So if her current 4 had some direct synergy with the rest of her kit it would be more palletable for me.

    I urge you to think a little more before you respond to me again.  I really would dislike having to write you off and ignore further replies.  But if you can't avoid making assumptions about myself and can't avoid trying to attack or dismiss me then you're a waste of time and energy.  I rarely come on here anyway because I quit playing months ago.  I don't need nor want to come back to poor responses such as yours.

    Fair enough. My apologizes for being rude. I understand why people think they are bad but i am a fierce defender of the frames. I could care less about DE but the frames speak for themselves. I am surrounded by meta hounds because I like to min max at it gets all too overwhelming at times. Let me be more specific.

    The reasoning I have with meser skin also comes from the fact that you can make more charges for youself by killing enemies with reave. Additionally, the pillars left behind by dead thralls well automatically enthrall enemies for you. It is a closed system like i said. I have had no problems using Revenant like that even in pubs but i disagree it is harder in pubs.

    Revenant's issue and I guess Garuda's by extension as well is that they are built around fighting alone and they don't really apply in teamplay at all.

    Baruuk is in the same fold as well. I was not aware that the dahhers do not give dr to allies i figured that is what would happen if they do so that needs to change. As for them flying away that is why he had damage reduction in the passive and the ult as well. Most of the time, enemies are not even shooting at me because i spam the sleep so much. As for what I said about excalibur, I will not recant. He is very basic in comparison to other frames and I get some people might like that but it is not my drift at all. Sure he has high dps but like you said that ain't alll that special. Partly the reason why i dont use Revenant's 4th ability at all.

    Also i would like to know. Why do you think Titania and Hildryn are subpar? I want to know.

    No she wasn't. After the efforts of many youtubers and tenno who played her after the nerfs did ahe finaly get recognized  as a good pick.

    Our operators can heal us.  Survival isn't an issue these days for even squishy frames.  And there are far better synergistic ways that let people live forever.  Mesmer skin is a slow cast 2 handed ground animation that doesn't offer anything gameplay wise to go along with it.  That's real bad.

    Please explain this? You dont have problems with Nova's null star casting(similar cast times nova is slightly faster) and yet her ability is weaker overall. Losing dr as the particles fly away while Revenant can recast, has full invincibility to enemies and self damage, and stujs enemies that shoot at him for a significant peroid of time and he can give it to allies. Also not everyone has operator arcanes so that reasoning gets thrown out as well. Is he perfect? No he is not. However, you give credit where credit is due.

    Garuda's problem is she fits absolutely no where.  Her main selling point is forced slash procs.  Please tell me one place where that is a desired thing to have.  I'll wait.

    Wow. And here i thought we could have a civil discussion. Guess not. You are telling me and im sorry but i have to ask because you reasoning baffles me. You are saying that additional slash procs have no place in the game? The same proc that deal true damage that by passes sheilds and armor? The same proc that give additional damage for free? The same proc that increases dps? The same proc that garuda and make proc 100% the time off weapon shot even with weapons that dont have innate slash? See how ridiculous you sound?.

    Again.  Survival isn't and hasn't been an issue for several months now.  The entire point of his kit is abusing it so you unlock use of his 4.  His 4 doesn't feel worth the effort.  If I wanted a mass killing 4 exalted I can go play exalibur.  Only thing Baruuk has on him is tanky.  Which excal doesn't even need.

    Like i said, his own mini game. Also, you can play exc you are free to. But ill play Baruuk any other day of the week. Why? Cause his kit flows and makes sense. Excals kit? Hurr durr i press four and do some slide attacks for short range cc. Or i spam one only or spam 3 oh wait that got nerfed.  And then there is the 2 spamers with coved lethality. How is that good? That is bland and on sided. There is no flow or consequence just one mimded boring stale gameplay. Baruuk offers more that Excal but takes a hit in the damage department because of his tanking capabilities. Filled with fallacy arent you?

    When your game is based on grinding as efficiently as possible to have even some of the newer additions to the game "fun" isn't going to cut it.  You can like these frames.  but denying the fact that they could be a lot better only shoots the game in the foot later on.  Because you're accepting mediocrity.  Which means the devs are expected to do less.  So we get less.

    What you think mediocrity is creativity. But i get it. You want everything to be op op op. A ome track ticket to victory. I hope you some how remember that you are playing a game for fun. The devs are trying to get us to slow down and bit and play differently hut i guess if we are going to have people like you telling them that any idea they try is complete garbage because it cant clear lvl 200 heavy gunner is in one shot then im sorry but you are hopeless

     


  9. Is it so bad that a frame does damage? Is it so bad that frame lacks utility? I ask these cause I really need to know why people are so mad over a frame that is not out yet. You know that frames are their own style of gameplay right? Much less of what it used to be in the past, frames today are more freeform in their usage and play style coming with their own mini game of sorts. I feel as though, and I say this with respect, many min maxers, i myself am one to an extent, just do not have fun with th game anymore.

    Why is it only about how good a frame is? Why is that metric we measure on? Prehaps being spoiled by the designs of Nidus and Mesa have ruined the Warframe community to the point where we can not accept even a slight deviation from concepts like such. Take Khora for example. I feel that many still hate her and think she is bad but that is completely unwaranted. She is nigh unkillable in endgame levels. Has utility, cc, and damage that scales. Yet because she didnt have and exalted whip she consider bad only because of her meh release. Min maxers probally wanted to do spin to win on her.

    Lets look at Gara.  The secomd they nerfed the wall everyon forgot about her. Meanwhile, she still had infinite scaling damage and 90% that give that damage field to everyone with the dr as well. Also he first ability does made damage and is a hard cc. Did you know her fourth makes you do more damage to vitrified enemies and refreshes your 2?. Sure you dont really use her 3 but why was she thrown away?

    Revenant Revenant Revenant. I am a huge advocate for this frame because of his one shot potential and his insane sustain making him, say with me, nigh unkillable. I feel that his pore is a garbage fire but his kit is sound and rather well designed. It is a closed system resource user and yes it is more efficient to use other frame but that's not the point of picking a frame yes? 

    Garuda. Say it again! Nigh unkillable with massive infinite scaling dps tools in her kit and yet! People hate her and say she is bad. I am confused at this one in particular especially since i have started playing her even more. She is a monster when it comes to sustain and damage with some utility in there as well allowing you to use guns that you couldnt before because she adds slash!

    Baruuk. ONE MORE TIME PEOPLE, nigh unkillable. Baruuk is well designed around his concept and evrrything in his kit makes sense. He just not played because people say he does scale but he does. He clears trash mobs well into the triple digits and if he slide attacks, can do the same for heavy units. He aslo offers alot of control with his ultimate.

    The whole point im trying to make is that people are missing the essence of what warframe is. The warframes themselves. I played Nezha when he was "bad" and yet I never felt like he was bad at all. Sure i made post on the forum to ket some QoL things done but other than that i loved him deeply and played him because he was fun for me. I feel people have lost that thought. Warframe is not about having fun anymore. It is about how good a frame is and that to me is highly detrimental. But hey thats my two cents take it as you will

  10. Well with the reveal of Wisp's abilities, let us have a chat.

    1st ability

    This needs to be changed but not scrapped. I like the idea of creating buffs that your allies can pick up but the issue is you will probably be the only ones using them which is not inherently a bad thing but it is not good. I propose this. Keep those cool lookin flower things but make them more radiant. Remove the pick and choose function and make a single cast summon the 3 of them around you in a triangle and limit the deployment of these to a maximum of 4 triangles at a time. As for the buffs, I feel they need to change. I like the movement speed buff, prehaps work in the cc field intot he move speed buff? The health buff is fine but prehaps work some mitigation nto it? The cc field has to change to a damage buff of sorts maybe even providing lifesteal?

    2nd ability

    Cool looking ability. It fits her theme of portals and light; all that ethereal stuff. I just wish it moved faster and had a longer base duration.

    3rd ability

    This should absolutely be independent from her 1 or else it will become unreliable. I propose this. When she cast this ability a wave of energy will also radiate from her and her allies

    4th ability

    I like it. It looks cool but the problem is that it makes her vulnerable.  Revenant can dash in his ult and Baruuk has mitagations. Since Wisp is all about light and portals, why not have her avoid damage during Sol. Prehaps channeling the solar power destabilizes he form making it harder for bullets to land on her?.

You have not even gotten the frame how can you have an opinion of something gameplay related?  Furthermore, they said he theme had to do with portals and space bending, including her own dimension, which explains her abilities. Lastly, it is off your opinion that channeled ults are not fun and it is not a fact. So dismissive. Just yeet here away before she even has a chance to be released.   12. Titania needed better physics on her one as well. Her buffs onntribure need some changes perhaps maybe soke related to damage? The lantern change is great. Nyx changes look wonderful. Im just sad my lovely Fae didnt really get touched. He Dwiata still needs help in damage category and the dex pixia ammo economy is a atrocious. Maybe some more love for titania?
