I have absolutely no idea how this guy got it into his head they said it was happening.
All they said was that they would like to bring back old events for lore purposes.
Actually they are bringing it back in some other ways : Dev stream giveaway, Tennocon 2017 (some might be given away this year as well).

Through Eidolon hunting. I've obtained about 3000 more Flawless Sentient Cores and some of my friends even have more. We have no place to spend those cores and they look "useless".And the new Hotfix just deployed and now we can buy Cetus wisps for 10k Quills standing (9-10 cores). This is a good way to spend those Sentient cores but the daily cap is killing me. I'm thinking about what if Onkko opens a shop for some cosmetics or some materials that allows us to spend our Sentient Cores in it. Isn't it a good idea?

Have same problem happened to me and my clan mates several times. Almost every capture run happened at least once. This bug makes POE unplayable.

Me and my friends are trying to do some new Eidolons capture speed run (3 rounds in one night) in order to get more than 450k focus points. And when we shooted the HYDROLYST (the Third one) to 0 health and it just died and left 5 Eidolon Shards when we had 3 devices fully charged around it within 30m. And one capture run took us 15mins but when the Bug came out, we just have nothing but 5 normal Eidolon Shards instead of 2 Radiant Eldolon Shards and 3 Brilliant Eidolon Shards plus 5 normal Eidolon Shards. And it happened 2 times! We just spent 15 mins working our &#! off and got nothing. That was so frustrating. Please fix it!
