    Ability menu/archmelee conflict

    There appears to be a bug since the last update.  pressing melee while in archwing brings up some ability popup menu instead of melee, so if your in plains or vallis you cant exit the archwing without switching to a kdrive or something, and in railjack or regular archwing there's no no melee at all. in railjack/archwing this appears to be somewhat random, but in the plains/Vallis its a real pain in the ass to be stuck in archwing mode. i never use that popup menu, but you cant remap it either, so there's that too. Please fix this, make it remappable or something, or just restore it to a previous state if possible.

    Launcher Unable To Update [Resolved]

    Same for me, for several days off and on. got sick of it, so i downloaded directly from the warframe site.  worked for about 5 minutes, then crashed when i joined a map. now their launcher gets stuck on verifiication, then crashes, every time. This is an habitually broken game, i know, but come on..maybe fix the cracks rather than add another layer of bricks?  BTW, I've already re-installed a couple times, disabled dx10/11 and 64-bit mode, etc. I might just have to go back to SWTOR.  At least their launcher usually works.

    Got a temporary fix. Download Xpadder.  You can still find the free version online and run it in compatibility mode for XP to make it work.  Map your controls to keboard bindings and customize from that tab.  then clear problem keys like sprint and activate power from the joystick tab (just pick 'select' for all the ones you have a problem with, then put 'select' back to map.). seems to work for now.

    not an excuse for faliure. sorry.  Not broken=dont fix.  It's really not that complicated.  It just ruins it for everybody who was actually looking forward to the cool parts of the update, like space combat.  but I hear that's super glitchy too, so...

    Here's a question for the developers:  WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE LAYOUT IN THE FIRST PLACE?  Wheels have been round since they were invented.  no one ever comes along and says, "you know, I think square wheels would be much better."  no one says this because it's stupid to alter things that work well by making them not work at all.  Thats why you dont operate a computer with foot controls, or try to pedal a bicycle with your hands.  If it works, dont FIX it,  Certainly dont make it so we HAVE to use the default settings, which are just lame. Are bobbleheads and scarves really that much more important to people that functional gameplay and customizable controls?  That's just sad.

    You know, i play with a controller on PC, precicely becuase a PC game usually has customizable controls.  Removing the ability to keybind the controller to your personal tastes just plain sucks.  If I wanted that, id use a damn console.  Besides, the activation should be on the other bumper anyhow for normal, right-handed people.  The southpaw setting exists for a reason.
