    Im not realy sure it connects to somone with best connection. I experienced host migration after wich the new host just discnonnected after a while.
    It is possible due to other problems(power outage, game crash, pc chrash, or just closed the client, etc.) but it is still not pleasent experience. 

    Then again, the migration should go smoother.
    Its not like they cant fetch data from rest of the party...? I dont know how it exactly works nor why the data is lost, but if its stored on host, why cant host migration fetch data from each party member ,cross reference it and make a new party without loot loss?

    But yea you lose everything else, traces, affinity, all the other drops, credits, etc.

    I did got mailed relic drop loot but not every time it happend. 

    Also while this is a huge problem, at least they could add an option for host priority. 

    1. possible temporary improvement: 
    Add host priority. Player can select "Make me host" while joining a mission. Be it little selectable square prior joining a mission, or in game option.

    That way i could be host every game as i have stable and fast(100Mbit/s) internet connection. Less lag for everyone if peple with good internet would host. 
    And i guess its not even a hard thing to implement. 

    2. possible improvement:
    make an algorithm that selects people who prefer to play longer runs in endless missins and have stable connection as hosts.

    Not sure if either of these sugestions would reach DE, well we can only hope :)

  3. Any time "Host migration" text pops up i get shivers especialy so if im doing long run on endless mission.
    Very often when host decides to leave endless mission client goes highwire and we louse all our progress, all our reasorces/affinity/loot and relics we opend are not refunded.

    Some times it just pops us back into ship and it says mission failed, other times it stays in map and also tells that mission is over. Also sometimes it gets so bugged that everything (including timer to put relics) just freezes and only chat works so we can share our misery to teammates we spend 30minutes or more farming with.

    I just hope we can get an update for this issue.
