  1. I like revenant both thematically and cosmetically, but his abilities are executed pretty poorly. For one his first is almost completely useless, when I first saw his abilities I wanted to build an army (obviously with limitations), but with his thralls dying so easily that’s nearly impossible. His second isn’t much better either, sure it is more useful in the form of survivability, but the combo with enthrall is unnecessary, BECAUSE of thrall’s flaws. His third is cool, but complete trash, I would the health and shield drain to be affected by ability strength to add more impact and usefulness in higher tier content, or at least give actual damage numbers so we can do more damage than 15 health it feels like. His fourth is just to good compared to the rest of the kit, this ability may be more tolerated if his other abilities were more useful so that players don’t feel forced to only use that ability if they are using this frame. And finally his passive, HE HAS WAY TO MICH SHIELD FOR IT TO EVER ACTIVATE, if had less shield it could work better, but with his shield numbers on top of his invulnerability during mesmer skin, his passive just never gets a chance to shine. So either they rework him to fix these changes, or they do it threw other means such augments, but that solution would be more limited on what it could do. So hopefully DE finds this post somehow so that they can fix these issues or revenant will forever be a controversy.

    1st: by your description i'm guessing it's like ash's teleport but you explode instead of opening for finishers. Nothing wrong that, could be used for small CC if it procs blast or some other element. If you want you could make it a channeled ability; when activated you become invisible but can't attack, but activating it again will cause the explosion. Further you could make the explosion damage scale with the time spent invisible.

    2nd: interesting, i don't know how it would look like when you are in an area with a low ceiling. My guess is that it spawns in a cloud and any enemy that gets close will get shocked and stunned. if that's the cast you may want the cloud size and range of attack effected by range mods.

    3rd: As with all 'Specter' abilities; be careful as warframe's specter AI is not amazing an could ruin this ability. Instead you could make it like mirage's hall of mirrors where you make a clone that follows your actions and attacks when you do, but make it a single clone floating slightly above and behind you. Another alternative is make the clone float above you but is like an automated turret targeting enemies within range of your currently equipped weapon. Both alternatives get rid of the worst thing about specter AI, which is the movement.

    4th: I would avoid making the weapon claws, simply cause that crosses into valkyr's territory. why not try a sparring weapon instead but add blades on it, think the hirodu but slash focused instead of puncture focused. Also you mentioned strengthening allies but you don't say how; i'm guessing a damage buff, further you may either want this buff's range to affected by range mods OR make it go with the affinity aura range. You could also make it that the lifesteal passive is given to allies when using this ability.

    Overall, a decent sounding Edgy warframe with an interesting kit, but remember, the stats of the abilities will determine if it is good or not.

  3. A warframe of unknown design, Abyss draws power from the light and life force of the living to control darkness itself.

    Passive: Abyssal Grasp (grants lifesteal when when dealing damage with his abilities.)

    1st ability: Abyss Walker (disappear and reappear near an enemy letting a small abyssal explosion.) Affected by range, efficiency, and strength.

    2nd ability: Storm (summon an abyssal lightning storm that strikes your enemies from above, stunning them.) Affected by efficiency, duration, and strength.

    3rd ability: Shadow Specter (summon a specter from your own shadow allowing it to fight alongside you with your current gear.) Affected by efficiency and duration.

    4rth ability: Abyssal Chaos (focus abyssal energies into you to strengthen your abilities but you can only use claws as your weapons.) Affected by efficiency, duration, and strength. NOTE: claws would be given to you much like Valkyr’s 4.

    not that I discourage warframe concept. I used to have a few myself. But, there is already a Vampire frame in the works by DE, his working name is Vlad, and his aesthetic theme is Sentients. But this is a pretty interesting concept non the less.

  5. Description: Made with Steel Maridian technology and Red Veil mysticism, this warframe possesses a ravenous hunger and extreme power.

     

    abilities:

    passive: Lack shields and energy but have a blood bar, which is refilled by his first and by finishers.

    1st: Siphon (release a wave of kuva energy in front of you siphoning 15, at max rank, blood and health). Affected by ability range, efficiency, and power. Costs 40 blood energy.

    2nd: Kuva Cloud (transform into a cloud of kuva, regenerating health and are invulnerable, but cannot attack while in this form, can be cast again to cancel). Affected by power strength, efficiency, and duration. Blood energy cost of 10.

    3rd: Shadow Anchor (pull enemies around to your location, keeping them in place and opening them for finishers). Affected by abilty range, efficiency, and duration. Blood energy cost of 15.

    4th: Kuva Swarm (summon a swarm of kuva energy that heals nearby allies for 5 health per second, at max rank, and doing damage to enemies over time). Affected by ability range, efficiency, range, power, and duration. Blood energy cost of 50.

     

    Stats (at max rank and no mods):

    Armor: 450.

    Blood engergy: 150.

    Health: 450.

    Shield: 0.

    sprint speed: 1.10.

     

    abilty stats (at max rank with no mods):

    Siphon: Damage (250), length (13), blood refund/hit (15).

    Kuva Cloud: Diration (5s), health regen (2 per second).

    Kuva Anchor: Radius (12m), duration (7s).

    Kuva Swarm: Radius (8m), damage (150), health regen (5 per second), duration (60s).

     

    Please tell me what you guys think, ideas, and even artwork if you want, for this concept.

    That was the hard part people were thinking to make them two separate frames because they are VERY BIG concepts. But I tried to make it ans unique as I could for Vlad. A all around kit usage by recovering health and therefore power strength like a real vampire, stealing the lives of others.

    When you put it like that, it makes a lot more sense.

    Second Ability problem: Ability forces you to use quick thinking/hunter adren/rage combo against higher enemies for survival. (Increasing shields and health may be pointless against level 100s unless his health and shields are beyond the normal amounts (5k ea with no armor).

    Second ability Fix: I think it is a great Idea to implement this as a quick casting damage ability. One of my first propositions should be to cause ranged ticking (affliction) that drains enemy health into yours based off of (powerstr%). (health cost to cast has a negative reward unless you are hitting 5+ units or have high effic%)

    3rd ability should be okay Where it is.

    Fourth ability rework idea: Vlad/Revenant emits a massive siphon motion while channeling, he drains the health of nearby units (range%) and proceed to increase various stats permanently during the mission (power strength, energy, shields, not health, maybe even gun stats! etc...). This scaling would be VERY SLOW. Units have slower animations and movement speed! (Vlad cannot move while channeling (animation))

    Passive: Vlad should have 20k health with no armor or negative armor, his passive should be powerstrength% increases and is additive (mods multiply to additive) with health (constant damage deters this and requires you to output constant damage. Also the base power strength should be low. This is VERY COMPLEX but would suit a health vampire frame. Also Vlad has little to no health regeneration

    Ideas: The talk of Kuva is on this forum post, I think it would make sense to require Kuva to build Vlad (life force/vampire relationship).

    In the end Vlad's Kit requires him to constantly drain health to increase his stats, he is an insidious frame like Nidus and requires health to emit power strength. This makes his 1 necessary for health maintenance as units can still damage him while he is stationary and channeling His 2 is his damage output and his 3 is the same. His 4 increases his stats SLOWLY overtime but requires health for power strength which he loses upon being shot. Basically his whole Kit is used nicely. He does not use energy as sentients are "allergic" to void energy, and is a parasite draining the energy of his victims like a real vampire.

    These are really great ideas. The reliance of health draining in combat really gives it that vampiric feel, though it should probably also feel like the frame’s other eidolon inspiration as well.

  8. Now most of us know that “Vlad” the vampiric/eidolon warframe is being reworked before his release because he wasn’t original and eidolon enough. So I would like to get some ideas for his abilities out there and raise awareness for these ideas and perhaps our want for a quest. Now these are my ideas.

    1st ability: cast a pulse of eidolon energy infront of you, granting a 15% base chance of siphoning health or energy, and afflicts enemies with eidolon energy (making them your slaves when they die). Affected by power range, efficiency, and strength.

    2nd ability: pull enemies around you to your location and hold them in place for a duration. Affected by ability range and duration.

    3rd ability: summon small vombulysts that will attack enemies and will restore a small amount of health on death. Affected by ability strength and duration.

     4th ability: summon an electrical storm within a certain radius calling lightning upon your enemies. Affected by ability range, efficiency,  duration, and power.

    Please tell me your thoughts and ideas.

  10. As most of you probably know Nidus is an infested warframe, helminth strain, to be exact. But we also know that warframes are just people infected by the helminth. So wouldn’t that make Nidus the “purest” form of warframe, since he is nothing BUT helminth. Also regarding him being a vamp frame, if you analyze his abilities and inspiration, he is a lot like a vampire in modern gaming, he can gain an alternative form of fuel for his powers by a certain means like other vampire focused games, he can trade the enemies health for one of his own attributes, and he is akin to an undead being with free will and extreme power. Please give me your thoughts.
