Simple form of clock - 

a suspended or floating sphere of energy. One half bright yellow for day cycle, other half dark purple or black with eidonlon energy coming off of it. set to server time in time with the plains and to rotate with the cycle so the current time is on top.

Make it a rep reward or a Plat purchase. Lord knows I'd buy like 5 of them
