  1. that's better. thanks.

That's actually a good idea. A syndicate primary weapon. Instead of acquiring it through points, you'll have to get parts like how you do with prime.

Though some would argue that said weapon is behind another grind wall/rng-based loot table, but then again, if you have a different perspective like "You have to work for it".

Yeah, I actually don't really mind working for prime parts, I enjoy most mission types, and I'm not forced into any of them. I usually end up farming things just by doing whatever I feel like. Sure it would be RNG based, but I don't really mind that too much. The only time that RNG has been a problem for me is with farming Nova. For some reason, I've been unable to get her systems, yet I've received around sixteen chassis, and three or four helmets. Useful if I want to make centipedes, but not so useful if I'm trying to make Warframes.

Also, I'd like to add that the part drops could be for more than just a single syndicate primary weapon. There could be other syndicate secondaries created for the syndicate keys, along with syndicate melee weapons as well.

  2. Wall of text, please edit it.

EDIT : Sorry, it's just that it's hard to read things like that.

Oh no it's okay, I haven't made a forum post on here before, I'll organize the thing into paragraphs.

    EDIT: how is it now?

  3.      Alright, guys, let's be honest with ourselves. Every single syndicate feels exactly the same to play. There isn't much unique about each syndicate, besides what they offer, and their lore. I have my favorites in terms of lore, and offerings, but none of the syndicates provide anything interesting.

Here is an idea though; what if each syndicates void key packs were replaced with special keys for the syndicate alone? A special Steel Meridian Void key pack? Or perhaps they'd go under different names, but with the same function as keys, like perhaps Steel Meridian Leaked Coords? The Steel Meridian is really just an example, but if implemented, there would be a version for each faction.

The whole deal, would be that these would be special items used for access to special missions, and with each of these missions, there would be a pool of drops that would be parts for weapons. These parts could be assembled into Void Augmented weapons, the results of research efforts by the Corpus and Grineer with the void technology that they have looted from derelicts, deceased Tenno, and regular void missions.

These Void Augmented weapons for each faction would be greatly improved versions of their normal variants, with stats that rival normal Prime weapons, but with a lore friendly way of introducing weapons that are essentially Prime Grineer weaponry, or Prime Corpus weaponry. It would also be a reason to gain standing with a faction despite having already recieved all of the augments that one desires, or weaponry, or the respective syandana. It would also mean that people would have a reason to trade keys, as only those with the standing and rank with a faction would be able to receive their keys. We all know that at the moment people don't have the desire to trade keys, because keys, regardless of their tier, are available to everyone, regardless of their play time, or mastery rank.

These syndicate specific key tilesets would also be easy to create, as one would just be able to use a specific group's mother faction's ship tiles. The Steel Meridian, as an example for the fiftieth time, could just have the regular grineer ship tileset, just with the void skybox as a background for rooms with windows. It would be the same for other factions as well, just as the Perrin Sequence would have the Corpus ship tileset with the void skybox (remember the Corpus Void event? I still have keys for it...). For some factions, new tiles may need to be created, like for the Arbiters of Hexis, and Red Veil, and New Loka, but they could all just use a modified version of a tileset modeled loosely after the clan dojo, or perhaps the relays.

This is just a suggestion, and it may not be well organized or thought out, but the purpose of this post was not to organize my thoughts, but throw them out there. Lemme know if there is anything you guys think should be done differently, and perhaps suggestions on how to improve this post.

  4. Yeah, DE, this is brilliant, I love having pitiful ammo capacity as well as the need to collect the rarest ammo drop. The wrecked ammo pooling is even nicer, so now I run out of the option to switch to another gun to shoot those birds feeding shields to my corpus homies when I'm too busy letting them politely stick a ramrod into my cute little posterior.

  5. Gah, really? Really? Halving ammo capacity for launchers would be acceptable, but reducing most launchers maximum ammo capacity to less than a tenth of their original is the most horrendous thing I have ever heard of. How is anyone supposed to be able to use these weapons, even with added ammo capacity? You are completely lobotomizing these weapons to the point where they won't even be viable with builds that maximize their damage and ammunition capacity, not at early game, and definitely not at late game. This is a terrible idea, DE, and you will have ruined the arsenals of many people by doing this. I wouldn't even change launcher weapon ammo capacity, but if I really wanted to, I'd only halve it instead of decimate it. Please do not do this, because how else am I supposed to use weapons like the Angstrum? I'll get 7 clips with 21 ammo, the equivalent of half of a round of corpus defense. I doubt that is even enough to be reliant on such a weapon.
