    haha clever :D I did change his name to Nebular but he will have sort of the powerful look like astro boy except ya know. It's gonna be detailed and realistic. Still working on the project so stay tuned :)

  3. 1 ability i made is

     

    ?)Solarbeam- absorbs solar energy, then releasing as a solarbeam from above, dealing blast or radiation or heat damage to enemies affected and blinding enemies nearby.

    Solarbeam? That should be his 2nd ability. Nice idea I like it. Idk what element it should hit enemies but definitely has to blind them since the light is powerful.

Energy restore is too OP i think because it's like iron skin except shorter and the thing is it explodes if shield is depleted so pretty OP for a 2nd ability (i thought 3rd ability is mainly Party Support and/or Defense like Roar is 3rd, Bastille and Snow Globe is 3rd, Fire Blast is 3rd, Undertow is 3rd).

    is Event Horizon like Vortex, getting sucked in and dealing damage in it except 2-D along with it pushing like Sonic Boom. So Event Horizon is a 2-D Vortex that then explodes as a force

    3rd ability, is a circular disc that rotates horizontally like in a black hole and enemies that are near the horizon are sucked inside the Event Horizon, which then are spun in a circular-horizontal flat motion and after the duration are flown randomly across based on velocity after the Event Horizon duration is over. What should Nebular's 2nd ability be? I know it needs to be a utility but what kind?

  5. 3 and 2 specifically. 4 and 1 are good.

    I think 2 is actually fine because Energy restore will be needed for him and his teamates. Generally a tanky ability wouldn't fit him well; he needs a utility for his energy sustain. Also, how about for the "Event Horizon" what if this ability is in a disc shape, like a disc around a planet, enemies that get near are sucked inside and taken into a spin and are continually dealt damage. After the duration ends, the Event Horizon will spring the enemies in different directions. What about this idea? :D

    and Supernova would be dangerous, to make it safe it would be like causing a start to explode into a supernova then absorbing minor energy then releasing on the battlefield like a giant explosion.

    Supernova is supposed to destroy enemies and a lot of them. I haven't been making the concepts yet because I wanted to know what people thought about this Waframe. I'm not just gonna start making someone who no one has given me feedback about. I want to make Nebular of course because he is an awesome Warframe of power.

At least in the limited nuclear fusion we've achieved here on earth, it's essentially like creating a sun: light strong enough to burn your eyes if you look at it, electromagnetic interference that can severely damage electronics, stuff like that. A warframe that could control nuclear fusion would essentially be able to hold a star in it's hand (to put it dramatically)

     

     

    Also this isn't really correct, everything that comes out of a star is radiation, though in warframe terms blast is probably closer to the effects you're looking for.

    Yeah! I'm just saying that radiation would just pass through and essentially kill if were talking about reality but an explosion like the sun would just erase everything in it's explosive blast or energy. That's how I see it.

  8. no i didn't mean they were alike i just said "how does Nova exist if she's because antimatter is way too dangerous in the universe" not saying they are alike it's just a question of how nova can exist

     

    i was wondering people were thinking when someone makes a space frame "we already have Nova and i would've said "Nova is antimatter not space" like Nova's moves are based on antimatter while Nebular is based on true space like true matter

    There will be mega updates coming. I'm just wanting to know people's thoughts of whether I should begin designing the concepts for Nebular to show you guys what I'm talking about and referring to :)

  9. Given that this guy's powers seem to revolve around stars, I imagine most of his damage should be Radiation element. Since, you know, stars are pretty much just giant fusion reactions floating in space.

    It's blast damage because star blast out matter and energy; they don't radiate it lol. Blast=knockdown, radiation isn't a very good element at the moment till it will be utilized to be more effective but blast is needed for Nebular 100%. Are you excited for that concept? I am down to begin the sketching drafts and I will definitely make this post update for all you guys to see the progression. 

     

    If you guys want background information about what I do and how I am able to design this and show you guys, I can definitely inform you who I am and what I do :) but I'm more interested in your thoughts of you excited for my launch of the concepts of Nebular. :) Let me know.

  10. Stars go supernova when their cores become incredibly dense and collapse in on themselves, or when they acquire new material from another star that heats them up enough to cause nuclear fusion. perhaps you could work in something along those lines to fit his theme better?

    That sounds all good but how would nuclear fusion become an ability? All of that is in the supernova channeling and then bursting. Other abilities that I have written actually makes sense I believe because he has that space connection, "event horizon=black hole", supernova=death of a star, etc. 

     

    I guess I can now begin the concepts of this Warframe and also draw out his abilities. Let me know if you guys are excited to see this :)

    if matter and antimatter fuse they explode so nova in real life would destroy the universe

    Nova uses anti-matter which means that she implodes matter. Nebular actually uses energy to absorb matter and then burst it like a supernova as like a star would die after its specific end of age. He absorbs energy and is no were close to what nova does. Nova's ult actually marks enemies for 2x damage and if they get killed they explode. Nebular absorbs all matter and sources of energy, then emits a powerful supernova that blasts enemies, knocking them away and stunning them for 2 seconds. Totally different Warframes. Nova= AntiMatter, Nebular=Galactic Energy

    Those are all staying. Okay here's the recap.

     

    Nebular: Energy absorbing Warframe

    Passive: Able to absorb the matter from fallen enemies and amplify his Supernova, if not all of his abilities. 

     

    1st ability: Energy Pulse: Nebular sends a burst of light that flies in a wave continually knocking enemies as it passes through them and dealing damage. 

     

    2nd ability: Energy Restore: Nebular restores a percentage of energy for him and his allies. 

     

    3rd ability: "Event Horizon" :Nebular places an event horizon (circular barrier-disc) that locks enemies that get inside the outer-barrier zone doing damage continually. After the duration is over, the event horizon explodes; sending the enemies flying back. This is a hardcore crowd control defense ability. 

     

     

    4th ability: "Supernova":  Nebular begins to absorb all the energy he has consumed and begins to channel his supernova blast. The blast then explodes with a huge bang knocking enemies far away and stunning them for a duration (2-seconds). 

  13. Yeah, that works much better for that. Would absorbing more energy give a longer stun as well? And what mods would affect this?

     

     

    All matter is space matter...

    The Stun cannot be affected or manipulated by mods it will be possibly like a 2 second stun because in comparison, mag pull has like a 2-3 second knockdown-stun which in comparison to her crush is very terrible because there's no CC. After you use her crush you sometimes die because enemies are up on their feet shooting at you on T4 mission. 2 Second stun seems appropriate to give you enough time to finish your animation and be able to get back into combat mode after the ability. Power Strength, Power Range, and Power Efficiency will affect his abilities. His stun and knockdown isn't affected by any mods.

I'm just really not sure about that one...there should be some upper cap on the damage dealt; we had something like this with chaining absorbs and that got nerfed fast by the devs so I'm pretty sure they're not big on infinite scaling. Perhaps after a certain time the energy within his body reaches critical mass and he cannot absorb any more?

    Yea that's a good idea. I guess the 100 enemy absorption is a good max cap. That's only 2000 damage and guns do a ton more than that. Just saying :) I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be able to infinitely absorb energy but also that you won't be able to absorb as much energy as possible because you will need to Supernova a huge wave of enemies either way. After that's over, you will need to gather the energy matter up again to make your supernova powerful again. 

  15. Okay so those choices for 3 are both a little broken...the second one is a 4 on vauban, and the third one is a buffed 3 from volt. I'd suggest something less powerful there. And for the 4, how far can the damage scale? Would there be a cap on the max damage dealt?

     

     

     

    Space magic :D

    The damage scaling is based on how much energy matter he collects from enemies. Depends on the amount of energy that one energy matter gives Nebular from an enemy. It depends on how hard it is to kill enemies. Let says if he gets like 10-20 energy boost towards his supernova damage; therefore, if he collected 100 energy matter from enemies, his supernova would do 2000 additional damage, blast enemies 10% farther or 20%, and have it's radius of blast increased by 20%. You have to remember that long wave missions will be tough but also that these numbers are just examples. I'm not about to make an op Warframe I just want to make Nebular because we definitely need him. His Event Horizon doesn't last long; therefore, after it catches enemies for lets say it has a duration of about 10-15 seconds, it will then explode and knock the enemies away since the event horizon will explode after its life ends. 

  16. So as usual, the silly origin story is silly. On to the abilities.

     

    Pure damage frames do not scale well, and I strongly suggest moving away from damage abilities. That said, I like the idea of a third skill that instead of dealing damage feeds in to the power of a fourth skill. Making it a passive would be a bit much though, I would make it an area-of-effect thing that buffed based on the number of enemy corpses around.

     

    A damage + stun 4th ability is pretty common, but the "very far" part is a bit much; anything with a larger radius than rhino stomp or avalanche is probably too large.

     

    Having the first ability be able to pass through enemies is too much, I'd change that as well.

     

    The second ability is just...I can't even. Team iron skin? Change that.

     

    I'm excited to see the concept art for this one: I've been wanting to see a frame that's been modified by the grineer the same way valkyr was modified by the corpus, or something like that.

    Added new passive. It's not just pure damage, the damage scales with the amount of absorption of energy matter Nebular has acquired from enemies. Therefore, he can collect as much matter from enemies as possible and use his Supernova at any given moment when needed to obliterate everything. Any ideas for the energy shield replacement? I was thinking of a defensive utility for his 2nd ability but it's hard to come up with one. What if his 2nd ability restored the energy of his team? :D that would be really cool I think. What do you guys think? Maybe he can have "Energy Restore" ability to restore energy for his team. Definitely not fully probably but like a percentage that also increases with his passive of energy absorption. What you guys think? 

  17. Mind describing the energy? o: 'Cause, I keep running through a ton of lists.

    The energy that comes out from any matter. Maybe Atomic Energy since it's atoms? But I call it just energy since that's what the Supernova emits. It's not specific energy because there's a bunch of them put together into "one-energy of light." Maybe Light but it doesn't sound very destructively dominating. Maybe it could though and I'm glad that there are questions and ideas. Please bring more people in here to get ideas, thoughts and views. I can see this Warframe definitely coming to actual reality in Warframe. :)

    *Changed* 4th: Supernova: "Passive": When ever an enemy dies, Nebular is able to collect energy particles from it and fuse it for his supernova. 

    4th: Supernova: "Active": Nebular begin to absorb all the energy he has consumed and begins to channel his supernova blast. The blast then explodes with a huge bang knocking enemies far away and stunning them for a duration. 

    Remember his 4th ability gets stronger the more energy matter you absorb from enemies. Basically, whenever enemies die, they will leave energy matter for you to take. It's works like any loot that you pick up except it's an energy matter particle. 

     

    3rd ability: Is an energy barrier that will damage and repel enemies back; however, I also have an idea called "event horizon" which would be an ability that will lock enemies inside the outer-barrier zone doing damage continually. After the duration is over, the event horizon explodes; sending the enemies flying back.

     

    Post your ideas please. I need more because I really want to begin working on the entire concept and begin to design the entire visuals for you guys to check out. I am truly excited to make this Warframe and we definitely need him,

     

    BTW, those who think he only does damage, you are wrong. He is able to absorb energy matter from enemies. The more energy you absorb the more damage you do. I think that you should be his entire Warframe passive not just Supernova. He will be a very strong source of damage for survival, defense, and interception missions; especially the very long wave ones where they are a ton of enemies that spawn. Hopefully this makes sense :) 

  19. Alright he shall be named Nebulae or even Nebular lol. Well give me suggestions on his abilities. I showed you guys some reviews, what would you name those abilities? The 4th ability was the one I was very stable about because the blast is very strong since it's a supernova and the 3rd passive is now the passive for supernova. He is a energy absorbing and bursting Warframe; therefore, he does work with energy. Please more thoughts and ideas :)

  20. I want your help and ideas of what I should do and then I can actually do the full design of this Warframe and present it to you all.

     

    Astro- a tenno that was lost in space during a heavy battle against grineer; however, later became found and reassembled with his incredible source of power that he reacquired as he is to be found from deep space. Being affected by the powerful gasses and the star particles, he felt the source of power fill him and realized he wasn't just an ordinary frame. He was different; he absorbed power. 

     

    Astro is based on space or "deep space" as he is lost and then found. He acquires special abilities with the new powers that he absorbs. He is mainly based on demolishing everything with his powerful energy. 

     

    Astro- An Energy Warframe that has no limits for his power. 

     

    Here are some of the examples I came up with.

     

    1st ability: Energy Pulse: Astro sends a burst of light that flies in wave continually knocking enemies as it passes through them and dealing damage. 

     

    2nd ability: Energy Shield: Astro grants a shield of energy for his allies giving them immunity to incoming projectiles for a specific duration. When the shield is depleted, it will create a small blast that will do damage and knockdown enemies caught in its radius. 

     

    3rd ability: Optional

    Passive: Energy drain: Whenever an enemy dies, Astro absorbs its particles to amplify his Supernova; increasing the power, blast and radius of his Supernova ability. 

     

    or

     

    Energy Barrier (Active of course): Places a barrier of energy that sends out waves of energy doing damage per second for a duration. If the enemies pass through the barrier, they will take damage and be repelled by its energy back. 

     

     

    4th Ability: Supernova: Astro begins to absorb and channel star energy, and then explodes all the energy creating a supernova that erupts energy and blasts enemies very far while emitting a stun effect on the enemy. 

     

    I will be working on drawing out the concepts for this Warframe, drawing out his abilities and how they will look. It really sounds awesome. I wonder what you guys think about his abilties, utility, and power. 

     

    Maybe it's over powered but maybe it's actually quite good. The duration can always be manageable and so can be the power cost. 

     

    Let me know what you guys think about this idea and I will put hands to work on showing you everything visually :)

  21. I generally see mod system as semi-attachment. Having additional visual would be nice but it will be hell to code and attach extra large magazine on the Phage or Boar.

    I just generally hope I'm filling you guys with ideas. I truly want to know what the developers think about this. They definitely can do this I'm wandering if they will. :)
