[Lighting is screwed after Chimera update]

Right? I just hope before too long they'll start to notice a buncha players are having these same sorta issue reports and then hopefully do something about it before too long.

But yeah, I agree.. knowing DE, who knows when; if that will ever be done at all.

but being the hopeful dude I am.. I hope the best that they'll figure it all out eventually.. heck, they might even be in the works of fixing it right now. but only time will tell.

I feel ya', friend.. the same exact thing happened with my game literally the day Chimera was released, and I am still having the same exact issue to this very day.

Everything just looks washed out and less "Crisp" compared to how the game looked "pre-Chimera".

The textures and shading seem to have lost most of it's depth, the Kubrows look far messier than before, and everything else (Graphics Wise) just looks bugged out after Chimera was released.

I can tell you right now that I had already manually deleted and re-installed the game from not only Steam, but from the Local AppData folders as well. and I have also downloaded the latest Nvidia drivers with a fresh install, and even verified and optimized the game immediately after reinstalling it.. and this was done several times, but to no prevail.

 

I hope this issue gets patched out soon enough, because my general OCD knows for a fact that Warframe had looked much, MUCH better than how it looks post-Chimera.

[Christmas decorations not showing up for others on my ship.]

Because I'd like for others to see the decorations that I put up, instead of only me being able to do so.

 

Also if it helps, my game's graphics seem to have been downgraded significantly, and looks a lot more washed out and displays too much contrast compared to the previous update of the game.

 

I'm not too sure if personal graphics issues could actually cause it to go bad, but if that's so.. I'd like to know if there's any way I can fix my game so that it looks like it used to.. AND so that others can actually see my X-mas decorations at will. (Do note that I've installed the latest graphics driver, manually uninstalled and reinstalled the game; yet the issue still persists.)

[broken kubrow/kavat textures! (broken again as of new war)]

I dunno if I'm the only one here also having this problem with their game as well, but it doesn't only seem to be just a "kubrow" thing.. I don't have any before or after pics of my game in general, but my general OCD remembers quite memorably that the game's shaders, textures, and lighting were actually MUCH more realistic than they were after the Chimera update was pushed out.

I've tried almost everything you can think of; from verifying, to completely deleting and reinstalling the game and my graphics cards.. and still, everything just looks washed out and and a lot more pixely compared to how the pre-Chimera version of the game had looked.

 

Hopefully DE will fix both that, and especially those dreaded kubrow textures that are now in the game before too long.

 

Don't get me wrong.. I wholeheartedly respect DE, or I pry wouldn't be throwing money at em' in-game all the time like candy in a parade. but when a newer update to a game breaks almost everything visually, and makes the game as glitchy as can be.. things like that should really be patched out before they decide to dish out another big update without the actual "fixes" within it.

[Christmas decorations not showing up for others on my ship.]

Hi, so basically.. I'm having this rather "Odd" little bug where when I had purchased the Christmas Decorations for my ship for one credit, I could see it just perfectly fine after I had purchased it.

However, when I had invited a couple of my friends over to my ship at differing times.. they were both not able to see any of the Christmas decor on my ship.. but were able to see my normal non-X-mas ship decorations just fine.

I had tried selling and re-buying them, telling my one friend to leave and rejoin and even leaving the game and re-inviting him back to my orbiter.. and both he; and my other friend were still not able to see my seasonal ship decorations. but I was able to see his Christmas decor just fine on his ship.

I have also attempted to both re-install, and verify/optimize cache and retried it but my friends still could not see it.

Does anyone have any explanations for why it might be bugged out on my end? if anyone has a solution, please let me know.. thanks in advance. 😊
