I named my Machete Zaw the Sunbreaker Sword. The next one I’ll make will look more like a scythe than a staff and I’ll call it Thanatos’s Scythe.
p.s. I hope Hok has a strike that can be used for Nikana and Polearm zaws or at least something for dual weapons in the near future. That would be awesome.

I’d probably try and counter the speed decrease with the peye grip and a Jai link type if you are gonna make a sword. You can choose either one or do both of them.

Sup everyone, $wagberg here and I forgot to introduce myself (yet again... This is actually the 3rd time I get an account on some forums and forget to introduce myself. It’s becoming a bad habit). So... I might as well list some things about myself and what I prefer using in game because why the hell not?
Background:
-Age: 19
-Likes: having fun, using melee weapons (preferably nikanas, dual blades, and sword/machete*)
-Dislikes: betrayal, Fighting in situations where one side has the upper hand (regardless if it my team that has it or the other team)
-Favorite Desert: Brownie Sundae w/ Cookies N’ Cream Ice Cream
-Make a Zaw? And if so, what parts does it used and what do you call it?: Yes, it has the Cyath strike, the Kwath grip, and the Jai Link (before I proceed, someone please tell me that this zaw is more of a sword than a machete because it looks exactly as such). I call it the Sunbreaker Sword.
-Warframes: Zephyr
-Favorite Weapons in Warframe: Twin Grakata, Nikana, Dex Sybaris (made that lever action burst rifle into a crit machine), Dex Dakras, Sunbreaker Sword (Zaw)
-OC (for the sake of the RP section): Yes, I have one. And for some reason, I might not feel welcome.
-Feats (real life):
—Black belt in a martial art known as Tae Kwon Do
—Taught himself how to fight with a sword at the age of 5 and later started to learn Iaijutsu.
— Fought off Mild Autism (yes, I was actually born with it and surprisingly fought it off against all odds just like every time you complete a mobile defense mission according to Lotus. Anyone who intends on insulting the people who are dealing with autism can go su- *technical difficulties*)
—Thanks to an adult dose for a sinus infection as a baby, I can fight off fevers, colds, sickness much easier somehow. It’s probbaly for the best that you don’t ask... Trust me, even Idk how...
-Feats (in games. Not just this one):
—In one RPG, I soloed 3 bosses to “rebirth”
—Soloed every mission in the entire story in another RPG except for 1 (will never live that down)
—Killed a player wearing armor similar to that of a real life Juggernaut Suit with 1 rocket
-Facts:
—Sees the Phoenix as a symbol of the Indomitable Spirit
—Likes fire
—Believes that the true strength of a single person is determined on how well they can fight on their own. With nobody backing them up (in short, I don’t believe in “strength in numbers”).
—Is looking for a new martial art after leaving Tae Kwon Do

Sup everyone, I’m $wagberg and I have a unique weapon idea I’d like to share with you guys. Now, before I begin, I want to ask if anyone has heard of, seen, or actually used the Dark-Split Sword? This weapon was able to use both heavy blade AND dual sword stances. Now I’m proposing that they should make a second weapon that is capable of using stances from 2 weapons but this time, for a nikana. This nikana will remain as one whole weapon when no stances are equipped but it changes depending on what stance you use. For example, it will fight like you are using it regularly if you have a nikana mod equipped but when you have a dual sword mod equipped, the blade changes to 2 symmetrical blades.
I have thought about the mastery rank and the blueprint for this weapon concept. In order to use the Split Nikana, your mastery rank must be 8 (just like the Dragon Nikana) and in order to build it, you must have 30,000 credits, 2 nikanas, and a forma (since formas are typically used for making dual weapons but it’s normally for secondaries though). In order to get this blueprint if this dream becomes a reality, you would need to buy it from the market (just like how you got the blueprint for the Dragon Nikana).
This idea was heavily inspired by a melee weapon called the X5 Double Sword. A katana that allows you to fight in both one sword and two sword styles. Unfortunately, since I am submitting this via tablet, I can’t upload images of the double sword on this thread so you could see what it looks like. But if you have time, search “X5 double sword” so you can check it out. For now, this is has been $wagberg, and I’ll see you all on the battlefield (maybe with a zaw machete that literally should be considered a sword instead).
