    Hi DE,

My argument can be summarized in one sentence:

I DON'T WANT TO CHOOSE A SINGLE PLATFORM TO PLAY. I WANT TO ON WHATEVER IS AT HAND.

I have seen the latest devstreams and I want to share my opinion on that single topic, and a request for you to appreciate and assess the feasibility.

An account migration period would mean the contents of each account would drift apart over the migration, and would mean either leveling up twice as much and farming twice as much, or abandoning one platform in favor of the other.

I don't have the time or desire to do any of those.

I understand that having proper crossplay might be a tough proposition, given that usually PC is on a different version of the other platforms.

But shared progress would be something more feasible to do, if some precautions are taken.

One major stumbling block for shared progress, is that the PC has TennoGen and usually new cosmetics are made available first, and only come to the console later on.

But if there is an item in the database for which there is no content art & meshes yet, I propose that the console games have a placeholder replacement for it to show as a default.

My suggestion is that the game should pick the player's "most used" items from the stats and use them instead, if there is a missing item.

    Example:

Revenant warframe is released on PC, not yet on consoles.

I buy the Revenant package with the warframe, a weapon set, an armor set, and a syandanna.

I open my switch, and if I select any of those items, the game would go as far as pulling the names of the items from the server database, but would have no assets for it.

Items would have a tag for the release at which they were made available. Consoles would then know this database item is not an error, but a 'future content'.

Console version of the game would display the player's most played frame/weapon instead. Cosmetics could have a simple default item (Edo armor/Uru syandanna).

It would have some message overlay on the UI explaining that the item selected is available only in the PC version, and will come to the console at a later date.

I am not asking for crossplay (that would be a bonus, but a much tougher proposition).

I just want to have shared progress between platforms - at least for Switch and the PC.

One account to rule them all.

You clearly haven't watched the latest devstreams because Rebecca explicitly said that the account migration will be a CLONE of your current PC account, meaning your progress is simply being duplicated. Therefore you will be able to continue with your current account on the Switch while still having it on PC.

I hope it's an actual war.

War within had no actual war. If anything it was the furthest from an actual war, it was a reconnaissance/sabotage/assassination.

I want armies I want explosions I want battle

You don't understand what the War Within meant. It was a mental war. A struggle between truth and lies. It was a battle mentally between the operator and the Twin Queens. Hence why it is called "The War Within"

  3. The next major Update plans to give a new home to Banshee and Volt, frames whose parts are currently acquired as mission rewards in a rather unpredictable (and many players say too random) way. Prepare your dojos for…

Tenno Research Labs! These will serve as a new home for Banshee and Volt, and as progress continues in Operation Oxium Espionage, we anticipate a new Warframe to emerge within the Tenno Research Labs based on these efforts…

Costs for this Lab will scale based on your Clan Tier. As with any Dojo Components, room and energy to build will be required! Keep this in mind as Update day comes nearer, you will want to manage your Dojo accordingly if you are interested in building this new lab! As with the current labs, it does require an Oracle as a prerequisite building.

    Happy Dojo Planning!

thanks so much DEVs :) u saved me lots lots lots of time

  4. Neither have I but [DE]Steve said they're around. What would they be doing in the middle of grineer or corpus warzones anyway? Other than taking computing resources that are better used on other things in the game. ^_^ I really would like to see this worked into an event or something maybe liberating some grineer slaves or corpus sweatshop labor or something.

I havent seen any regular humans except those during rescue missions and they are called Tenno operatives there.

everything that is in game (except infested) are humans. the tenno are humans in warframe suits. the grinneer are messed up, cloned, crazy humans and the corpus are humans that make robots and S#&$
