[My Launcher is stuck]

I was updating the game, then asked it asked if I want to optimize download cache. So I did, after the optimizing it kept saying "checking for new content... 32.2kb" with no progress at all. I thought maybe i could just verify download cache in the settings to fix it. I was wrong as I am typing this its still stuck in 4% and still nothing. What should i do?

After a couple of restarts i managed to finally cancel the verify download cache but im back at the "checking for new content... 32.2kb" still stuck in it.
