  1. Way back when I first started playing we had a mix of skill trees and mods, and although they didn't provide the player with much variety it did hold the player back. Each node on the tree only provided a little amount and each mod was done in percentages. There were no regen, no effiency, we had to rely on drops for ammo, health and energy. If we had the same sort of power levels that came from back then people would probably ask for a buff instead of a nerf for us because of the enemies we face now.

you do know that during that time the mods also went up to 600% for multishot, or 1000% for shields/health (for example, i've heard that there were higher % ones), oh and power 4 on all frames (and 14 other things on the tree) were locked behind a rng-gate/paygate via potatoes back when you had to look on the forums to see what the "mystery reward" was for an alert. The jump from U6 to U7 (the change that gave us our current mod system) was a very big nerf considering there was 600% multishot mods from before U7.

  2. Jupiter Dark Sectors are really kinda bad at getting Neural Sensor drops compared to speed-running Alad V.  If there was some higher level DS that dropped sensors it may be viable, but Jupiter is too low level and too sparse on enemies to be worthwhile.

easy guide to farming a jupiter DS Def.

    1. Use Vauban

    2. Equip OP primary or secondary with a punchthrough mod (Soma/SomaP with a max Shread works wonders)

    3. Vortexes everywhere

    4. Kill stuff

    5. ???

    6. Profit

you can get about 5-10 sensors in about 10-15 waves with nearly no effort, it may not be the fastest, but it sure is the most effortless.

  3. This change pushes people into the star chart again, since DE didn't pull t4 keys from intinterception, play those with low Mr people rather than complaining about them being made more expensive.

you already had to go do interception for T4 Sabotage keys before the change, now you have to do it for all the T4 keys. Maybe it's just me, but i don't see much change at the end of the day with this.

  4. what i take away from this thread is that it's only ok to hate something if the community hates it (which can be very confusing considering the same community seems split on wanting to turn the ground combat into a "Tactical Shooter"). And that it's not ok if #4 on archwings are not an auto-win, but it's ok if warframe's #4 isn't an auto-win. :v

  5. there are only 2 "utility" mods i use, Shred (which is the best punch through mod in the game, and works very well. but i could easily make the argument that Shred is a damage mod due to +FireRate (more DPS) and +PunchThrough (Hit more stuff), and the Rifle ammo mutation, because guns like the Soma and ice cannon have bad ammo econ.

  6. I doubt it's ignorance.  They've been making quests (most of them rather decent compared to this aberration) and have made similar mistakes to this before.  The community in general have basted them for that in the past.  It's rather convenient that they timed a ultra distracting and shiny event and released Syndicate weapons with the quest for Mesa.  That distracts players from looking at how horrible the quest is.  However, in the case it truly is ignorance; they should try harder to make sure nothing like this slips through.

I would laugh if it was straight up ignorance, especially considering we had...

#VoidKeyGate (2% chance just to get A void key when they first came out)

#PrimePartGate (ReaperP Blade, LatronP Reciever, and a FrostP part all had a 2% chance of dropping on T3, and 0.5% chance on T2. happened shortly after void key drop chance got fixed)

#NovaGate (Raptor having a 30% chance of even dropping a part to begin with, even though DE said it was issues with Raptor "flying too high")

#MiterGate (the boss on Phobos, everybody could get all the parts for the Miter except for 1 piece, untill DE fixed it)

#ToxicDamageGate (Damage 2.0 just came out, and the Toxic damage mods were found to be dropped off of rarer enemys)

#NekrosGate (Looking back at it now... ehhhhh)

#HydroidGate (one of the bacons were SUPERULTRAOMEGAOMGBBQ420N0SC0PE rare)

  7. I remember devs saying in the devstream that many RNG based things are not meant to be farmed per se.

Those are the words of a naive developer, and that was said from (i think) before the drop tables became encripted.

I'd be surprised if they still said it today after all the past "RNG mishaps" that's happened in the past. Like back when drop tables weren't encripted the void keys (when they first came out) had only a 2% chance of dropping from a defense mission (oh and Hellfire was listed twice on the defense reward table at the time as well), and there were prime parts that had a 2% chance of dropping on T3 missions (happened after defense tables got fixed). Then there was Raptor only having a 30% chance of droping a nova part (back when boss drops were purple orbs, like how Oberon parts are dropped.), that was also back before #DropTableGate happened so it was proven that was what was happening even though DE kept saying that Raptor was flying too high and causing the loot to not drop because of that.

  8. What if the discounts where made because plat is a rip off O.o

I was there when the discounts were implemented (i think about a year or so ago), and at the time there was a lot of discussion about how plat was more of a ripoff than gold on WoT. (something something pepperidge farm remembers)

so yes it was made to deal with it till DE could look into seeing what they could do for a solution.

  9. I know, right? And given how ginormous rails are, they should take *massive* amounts of resources to construct. DE even says "you should band together with an alliance if your clan is too small because these are meant to be built by huge 4k man alliances", then we actually get ahold of them and discover that a single vet can own his own private solar rail.

i'm wondering why aren't we making our own personal navy with how much the towers cost.
