    Frost has been depicted using several melee weapons since the dawn of time, the Scindo, the Reaper Prime, the Galatine and the sword from the Frost Harka Skin.

    With that being said, even if the rework doesn't push through, I just hope DE tweaks Frost's abilities to give them more utility, and change his damn passive.

    There's a simplicity with this rework that makes it elegant in a way.

    I've been playing Frost/Prime all my life as well, would be freaking awesome to chuck that Frozen Scindo Axe like Snowy Thor or Kratos from GoW PS4. This rework kinda also solves Frost's problem of not having to use Range mods (that also kinda conflict with Snowglobe) as he now has more abilities to use to be able to freeze enemies, and not rely on a crappy single targeted Freeze, a badly scaling Ice Wave or a very costly Avalanche Spam with bad duration.

    The passive playstyle allows him to do more without entirely changing his playstyle at all.

  3. this suggestion was unexpected but very much welcome. The more passive playstyle plays nice with Frost's low energy and goes inline with his tankiness. The added mechanics for the Frost Axe is very nice and creative and adds a mechanic in an already existing ability that makes it more dynamic.

  4. Hello! Recently I've been playing Excalibur Umbra and I've actually fallen in love with him, although his skills in my opinion, barely have any synergy (unless you count the blind mechanics as one).

    Let's get to the point and quick!
     

    =========================================================================================================================

    Passive: His passive is not too game breaking and not too game changing, it's just a-okay.

     

    1. Slash Dash:

     

    Pros:

    -Probably one of the most fun 1 skills in the game, especially after the rework.

    -It becomes a pseudo-mini blade storm where-in he targets everyone in range in a 12m cone.

    -High Mobility and Very Fast

    -Boosts combo counter by 1. Scales with combo counter.

    -Immunity throughout the duration.

    -Knocks back enemies.

    -Becomes stronger with Exalted Blade
     

    Cons:

    -For some reason, it un-blinds enemies(probably due to the knockback effect). This is troublesome when Excalibur slash dashes into a group of blind people.

    -Damage is not considered "Melee" (AFAIK) which means it will not heal your Kubrows or Kavats with the life steal companion mod.

     

    Proposed Change:

    -Properly categorize Slash Dash damage to Melee Damage.

    -Make it so that hitting blind enemies do not un-blind them OR

    -Excalibur will dash into the target and automatically do a finisher move but he does not dash to the next target.

     

    Augment: Surging Dash

    -Believe it or not, this is actually a good Augment. I enjoy using it a lot.

    2. Radial Blind

    This ability is as good as it can be. Fast, reliable and can be used as a buff to kill stuff with any melee weapon faster.

     

    Augment: Radiant Finish

    I personally am not a fan of this mod since + 300% Damage on Finisher (plus it scales with Power Strength) is pretty overkill but I do understand that a number of people like it and love big numbers. For me, normal Blind + Finisher is enough to kill most enemies.

     

    Proposed Change for Augment:

    This could be a nice place to insert the Slash Dash synergy too if ever. (Refer to 1. Slash Dash if you missed it). Except this time, make him also go to the next target.

    3. Radial Javelin

    This is Excaliber's real problem. Low damage, Limited Targets and really slow. It can barely scale past level 20 and that's sad. The only advantage it actually has is its augment but then, its not really worth it. If this scaled with Exalted Blade mods then I think it would be better, but then IMO, this ability should be replaced entirely that doesn't destroy Excalibur's flow during combat.

    Some of the more popular suggestions in the forums are summoning flying blades around Excalibur that attack nearby enemies. The name of the ability could be changed to "Blades of the Round" or something to be keep up Arthurian theme.

     

    Augment: Furious Javelin

    Not worth a slot to be honest, even if its the only augment that gives this ability synergy with the rest of his kit. I don't even know how to change this

     

    Proposed Changes:
    -Make it scale with Exalted Blade mods OR

    -Change the ability entirely.

    4. Exalted Blade

    One of the most enjoyable abilities in the game. My only complaint is the mini-blind you do when slide attacking, I'm pretty sure the consensus was to remove it since the energy drain was added to it.

    Augment: Chromatic Blade

    It's basically a straight upgrade to Exalted Blade and makes it more build diverse IMO. I like it.

    Pretty sure Slash Dash scales with mods equipped on Exalted Blade

  6. You are asking DE to develop an artificial intelligence capable of playing Go, a feat today only mastered by Google DeepMind AlphaGo, and you call if "nothing major"?

    It doesn't have to be as complicated as Google DeepMind AlphaGo's AI, there are other artificial intelligence algorithms that can mimic human intelligence that can pass as an opponent in games like Go. A simple State Space Search could suffice in a game like this.

    I don't think that's his point. It seems his V-Sync (for some reason) doesn't have triple buffering. This kind of V-Sync AFAIK makes it so that if your frames are jumping everywhere, it reduces it to the nearest tens (idk if that makes sense). So for example if your FPS is 31-37, your frames will be hard locked to 30, If your FPS is 25-28, it locks it to 20. An FPS limiter just caps your FPS so it won't get higher than what you set it to.
