  1. So, I just spent the last two hours working on my Vent Kids standing by grinding around The Pearl. I had just over 11 thousand standing accrued in a single mission when I missed the rail and fell into the ooze below the pearl. Normally this just transports you and your K-drive to just beside the pearl's location, but this time I fell off my board and tumbled down into the very bottom of the pit without being teleported. As my Warframe stood up I was transported into a razor thin space in-between two doors that exist in the back of the entrance elevator to the Orb Vallis.

The world map disappears because you're now registered as inside the elevator so the world map is replaced with a small grey square. You cannot move within or out of this thin space between the doors, you cannot summon your archwing or K-drive, and you can no longer teleport on the world map. Your operator cannot void sling out, and unless you have the ability to kill your own warframe and hopefully respawn back on the surface you are completely stuck there with your only two  options being to abort the mission or turn off the game and lose EVERYTHING.

Outside of this death trap is nothingness by the way. Fragments of sky boxes and endless white. This is at least the sixth time I've been trapped in this chamber of doom and forced to lose ALL of my progress on the Vallis, and it's not always caused by falling into the pearl. It can happen in lakes among other places in the Vallis.

Seeing as it takes an immense amount of time and effort just to earn 1000 standing with the Vent Kids, you can see why this rediculous sky box and getting trapped in it can be devastating to players and is  beyond frustrating.

There needs to be an in-menu option that allows a player to transport themselves to the spawn point or entrance point of an open world or even a mission when these events occur. If DE is afraid that a feature like this will be abused then they need to get over it. We all have lives to live outside of this video game and allowing us to shorten time spent traveling in-game in order to give us a fix to these entrapping areas would seriously improve the user experience full round.

Otherwise, just fix the dang bug or change the pit in the pearl and under the coolant lakes to not teleport us anywhere and just let us explore those areas on foot or if it's under the coolant, in a freaking archwing like in virtually any other underwater area. What's so deadly about this coolant anyway that we can't swim in it when we control a bio-mechanical death dealing void monster who can breathe in space?

Thank you for your time. I hope this gets addressed in the next hotfix or update.

Thats not the point dude... the point is that the guy was CAUGHT standing still in 1 place while Umbra did the job, it doesn't meter what his stats were, if I go to a mission whit my Operator and use Umbra has my side pall, people will still see me doing something, while this guys was really doing nothing while his Umbra toke care of everything, therefor he got reported.

I am sure that if DE sent a warning is because they dont want players to do what OPs friend was doing, but i digress.

Even if DE gives you the possibility to do something, doesn't mean its alright, AFK-ing whit a Umbra is still AFK-ing despite of Umbra getting kills whenever enemy's decide to pop up on its field of view, because enemy's dont always spawn on your spawn and sometimes stay near their own spawn, a AFK Umbra should be (imo) either used wen playing whit people you know or not be used at all wen going whit randoms since stuff like this will happen.

Also, where the hell did you get that "Well I don't like mesa because she's a girl wearing guys clothes. I'm offended! CHANGE IT OR ELSE I WONT PLAY YOUR GAME!" quote from ? Because after 1 year in this game i have never seen people complaining about that, the only thing i saw because of Mesa was because of the collapse Mesa Primes hips had wen she crouched ?

Also, DE themselves ask for input of the fans, obliviously constructive input, but still input none the less, if DE lessens to the input the fans give its up to them, telling people to shut up and let DE do the game how they want makes no sense wen DE are the ones asking for input, and, i dont know wen you joined, but this game is one of the games whit less toxicity i have seen (apart from the regular trolls here and there but everyone can see they are just bating) I have seen many good ideas and opinions on the game just has i have seen tons of people disagreeing whit trolls, so, i dont really see how Warframe is ruled by "toxic kids" wen at least in PS4 all i find is people above the age of 18 playing the game and giving their opinions, i barely see kids actually interested in the game.

I started when the game was in pre alpha and I am a founder on my original PC account if you really have to know when I started. As for how you interpreted my writing, I can see very clearly that I would not be able to tell you a single thing and have it stick. You seem to have your opinions pretty well developed to the point of confusion and ignorant aggression so I can't really give you a reply that's worth either of our time beyond this right here.

I said what I said to make a point and to drive it home with a little comedy and postulation.

Let me ask you, how long did you spend thinking of your response to my statement? How many times did you ask yourself what was meant in my words? Did you really absorb what I wrote and then knowingly think about it to respond or did you let your emotions guide your response with urgency?

I'm merely making my voice heard. It seems that you're taking the wrong parts of my writing seriously and ignoring the true bulk of what was said.  You focused soley on the words I used like "kid" or my fabricated example of what a toxic player might complain about which the example was trying to show how arbitrary those complaints can really be hence my attitude towards giving the players and DE space despite the fact that they do ask for input. Which is only to boost player rates and sales at this point.

That's not what this game was founded on. I'm one of those founders who saw something amazing and decided to believe in it so if DE Really wants player input then here is this player inputting his two cents.

My two cents: If it's intentionally a part of the game and it's not a bug that's being exploited, then it's fine. If it's a matter of DE not liking how people use it, then it's on them to implement changes that alter how the tools THEY THEMSELVES PROVIDED can be used. If you as a player don't like it, play solo or with friends.

Also, it's not AFK farming so much as "minimal input" farming.

Thank Konzu we have you Tenno!

  4. This whole complaint wreaks of Nef Anyo.

I mentioned in my last post that the Index cheats and is stacked against us 100 to 5 so why is it a bad thing To find a way to exploit it? Is that not the theme right now of Fortuna? Financial exploitation. Breaking the heavy chains of debt bondage.

So are the workers of DE now the Profit-Takers?

    Are they the Exploitorbs?

Did Nef Anyo somehow get elected as a member of the DE board?

Something stinks here and it smells like Corpus greed.

  5. My question here is, what is the job of a sniper? When a military tactics team is on the make, what is the job of a sniper? A sniper is the one who stays stationary, watches the field for enemies and, wait for it... Takes them out with one well placed shot.

I can say that when I first encountered a player using Excalibur Umbra in the index I was a little confused as to why they stood gaurd by our goal. I stood there for a moment and heard a loud 'CRACK' and bang, the corpus scum that just spawned in front of me was laying in a smoldering heap thanks to the dead eye aim of the Umbra with his Kohm. My eyes lit up! I joyously hopped on every gem that dropped and cashed them in with glee! This guy had shown me and figured out one of the coolest features to Excalibur Umbra that no one in my clan had even come close to thinking of just yet. I was amazed. So I ran five more index missions with this player and it worked like gang busters! We made a superb team. And he stood, ever vigilant, like a decorated scour sniper with 53 confirmed kills.

I've since encountered the occasional Excal Umbra in the index to which I'm always ecstatic because that means we've got a breeze of a mission and I can spend roughly 30 minutes to gain 1 million credits rather than hopping on the struggle bus for over an hour of time that I just don't have to spend on an aggressivley repetitive mission like the Index. And to really make a point here... THE INDEX #*!%ING CHEATS YOU GUYS!!! So why is it a bad thing that we the Tenno, who fight against Nef Anyos tyranny, could find an efficient ability and exploit it's use in a mission that is stacked against us from the start 100 to 5?

If using this ability is wrong then I don't want to be right. And furthermore, I don't want to be a diligent sniper in a game world where I'm chastised for it. I've played in Index missions with a Mesa who did nothing but stand in one place the entire match and she was our scout sniper. I pitty her bladder but that's why Jarate was invented! I've also played with an equinox that was virtually AFK and didn't seem to be of value just like my initial thoughts on that mesa and even the Umbra on my first encounter, but I paid attention and saw that they were wrecking the corpus as they spawned.

Umbra just has a special liking to corpus head milk and he can't help but sink a few Kohm or Rubico bullets through those thick, corporate skulls, which makes him an incredibly efficient killer. Is that not what Konzu taught us? Were we not awoken by the Lotus to fight against a tyrannical rule and to stand up against those who seek to control us or diminish our love for this world?

I implore DE to take a serious step back from player interaction and to just make the game that they want to make. Develop and build the world that we all discovered and signed up for with pride.

Warframe wasn't a good or desirable game when it premiered because it was controlled by toxic children who don't care about the quality of the product they have in their hands nor do they care for the players who've spent the time to truly synergize their gameplay experience by just being an intelligent human being and taking the time to properly understand and utilize the tools provided for us by the developers.

Flat out, DE should not be speaking like that to players and I feel like we and they would benefit drastically from a break from one another.

I personally would love to see what DE could develop again without the toxic and horrendous pressure placed on them by these grabby little snots shouting at them every day "Well I don't like mesa because she's a girl wearing guys clothes. I'm offended! CHANGE IT OR ELSE I WONT PLAY YOUR GAME!" Okay screaming toxic child, don't play the game. It's just that simple. And I know I'm not the only one who feels that we would all benefit from the people who made the effing game to make the effing game without the input of people who have nothing to do with the game whatsoever.

Is this really the kind of world you want to explore? One where the generous and lovable developers we've grown to trust transform into the vile, disgusting Grineer queens we try so desperately to defeat?

Don't sit by AFK on this matter. If DE really want to be our pal and listen to our voices then I say we make our voices heard. I for one am confident that the majority of true players will unite when needed and those voices will speak louder than a thousand shreeking toxic children.

  6. I wasn't aware that this was released in this way. Seeing that there's no option for us to download before the release time to prevent a long wait time I can't say anything more.

Also, I'm not passing the buck to DE in my comment. I'm saying that it would be beneficial to all players if we had the option to download these large update files before the release date but Thaylien graciously clarified that for me so I now understand that it isn't possible for DE to do that for us because it leaves their hands and passes onto others.

Don't get me wrong, I'm stilled psyched to play it when it's finished. I only made the comment to offer a possible suggestion to ease future download times. The idea came from the recent Smash Bros. Release at midnight. My friend was allowed to download the entire game and then access it directly at midnight. If this isn't something DE can do for us then so be it, I will wait. I was just severely disappointed this morning but I now have a broader understanding of how the process actually works.

  7. So I don't mean to complain but DE, please, if you're going to be promising us a new open world add-on at 10am then just give us the download a day ahead of time. Heck, even start it at midnight and then unlock it at 10 so that we can already have it downloaded and ready to go when all of our friends and other players will be diving in. I've been waiting over an hour so far and I barely have a gig and a half downloaded and yes I know that it has to do with my connection which is why it would be incredibly helpful to players like myself who can't afford the top tier service to release the download early and then implement it at the specified time of release so that my whole first days experience isn't sitting on the side lines waiting for a massive download while the people I actively play with get to enjoy it on time during the release. This is severely disappointing. Today started off feeling like Christmas and now I just feel let down that I'm missing the entire first day of Fortuna...
