Same thing happened to me, and have to tell you. I was salty about it for the whole day.

I was only a day or two in the game. It was frustrating but you'll soon discover that earning plat is not that hard and also you'll have bought the slot sooner or later.

Most probably it's a problem with your internet connection, I also have the mobile app. Your situation only occured to me when by mistake I kicked my router in-game. Warframe automatically logs out of your mobile app when you play in yr PC.

[All the earth defense missions take a lot of time as enemies get stuck]

As I said in the title, the earth defense missions take a lot of time as enemies get stuck. They aren't able to jump up the boxes placed to make email come up. Because of this they just keep grouping there and even a single wave takes a lot of time. It's somewhat tolerable when you have a 4 people squad but, makes it too long and too boring while playing solo. I had to quit them several times just because they were taking too long.
