Except that's not what's happening here? DE is actively removing the options to use in place of or alongside Frost. This feels very much like a case of "First they came for Limbo. I said nothing because I wasn't a Limbo main. Then they came for healing the defense targets, and I said nothing because I could heal the defense targets."

If you think your snowglobe is immune from DE turning it into a glorified soap bubble in terms of durability, I beg you to reconsider, because this is hardly the first time, nor the last, that DE has nor will punish players for playing with their Frames the way they designed them to be played.

Charming logic. Is recovering from damage not a part of protecting something? DE is actively removing tools for us to use and you're up in arms about the community being upset by this? Various methods of cheesing the defense target's protection already existed, the healing was just an added bonus as a failsafe. Are you really going to tell me that 42 Frost Bubbles on a single point is somehow failing to defend the target? Or perhaps you're attempting to indicate that using any abilities with AOE CC (Khora's Strangledome, Hydroid's Swarm, anything Limbo) is somehow not legit.

You know, you raise a point. Another case in point: Universal Medallions no longer applying to the Conclave as planned because one of the 7 remaining Conclave players complained about it being a "slap in their face"

Seeing as DE doesn't want them dropping in loottables and only permits their existence in Nightwave, I have an idea for them to ignore:

Make Umbral Forma purchaseable with Nightwave credits (Along with Stance, Aura, Standard Forma), and have them priced accordingly. You want to keep Umbral Forma strictly to Nightwave? Fine. Go nuts, I guess. But as long as you're going to suddenly pause your little Nightwave to never resume it give us something to care about using the million credits we'd gain in the meantime for. It's not like it would crash your trading economy considering these aren't tradeable.

The answer to this is quite simple: DE won't listen. Just look at Ivara's Navigator augment to make an example. And they never bothered to explain why they decided not to go with so much as a single one of the voted on options. They just made something else up entirely. And they actually asked for the suggestions in the first place. So yeah, I respectfully doubt this will EVER happen. And that's from a "never say never" guy
