  1. My stupid a$$ wanted to see if umbral mods were destroyable. So I dissolved mine. and it worked. I am now -1 rank 7 Umbral intensify. I don't think that this should be possible, as these mods are only attainabl throught the sacrifice, and as far as I'm aware, you won't receive these mods again if you re-play the quest (not 100% sure, ran out of time to check). I also checked the fandom, and apparently they're tradeable too?? It states that there is a 1 million credit trade tax; whether this is simply because it has legendary status or it is actually doable, I do not know. I did send in a support ticket, before the thread is flooded with that, so can anyone tell me whether this is a bug, an issue the devs overlooked, or is it just me?

  2. I noticed with my Excalibur, Excal Umbra, and mesa prime that:

for Excal umbra and normie Excal: that if i activate exalted blade, shoot my primary, then deactivate exalted blade, my excal tilts backwards a couple degrees, and i can't melee with my skiatjati until i shoot my primary or secondary weapon.

for mesa prime: if i die while using my peacemakers and i re-spawn, mesa p will tilt to her right by several degrees, and will hold both her peacemakers pointing up, with a almost 90 degree bend at the elbows

Maybe, but no one actually knows what an orokin looked like, only their bodies that they chose to live in. because of what we learned of the orokin continuity, it is possible that ballas performed a continuity with a duviri, stealing one of their bodies. maybe they're a friendly faction? they might have a bone to pick with ballas, and since we stabbed him in the gut, they might be on our side

They need to bring back Alerts and remove the time restrictions on Nightwave and let us complete it on our own schedule instead of that looming threat of having our progress reset that might get me interested again, shame was really enjoying the game up until they removed alerts a week or two ago.

Cyall later time to go sail the Sea's as I doubt the devs give a rats ass.

you're very right. I don't understand the rewards system, or what happens to to standing you earn.

  5. Warframe is A free-to-play third-person super space ninja action simulator. Emphasis on free-to-play. I saw that and thought "Wow. A free to play game with good ratings and a solid fan base? I'm all in!"

So I start playing. I enjoyed the hell out of the game, and I tried to get some friends playing. Wasn't easy, as Fortnite is the only thing people seem to care about. So some guys I know start playing. About half quit after getting the market segment. They say, "Ew a pay to win game hell nah". Only then did I start hunting down the flaws that don't keep new players engaged. Here's what I came up with:

    1. The market. Most people don't fancy themselves a play to win game. Warframe is free, the weapons are unlock-able via grind, BUT you can buy platinum, use plat, instantly gain a fully constructed weapon that's pre-potatoed and comes with a slot. This is where many people quit. This is because in the market, platinum is the first currency option you are presented with. The blueprint buying option is hidden away in another tab. What Could be done is reworking the market interface so the drop down menu on the left side is fully visible without clicking on it, and presenting more options for earning plat in-game, and make the credit option more approachable in the market.
    2. The foundry. Yes, yes, the foundry is by far the most important feature in the game, blah blah blah, yada yada yada. what needs to be fixed are the construction times. Excalibur Umbra? 10 seconds. Excalibur? 72 god be damned hours. THREE DAYS OF AGONY WATCHING THE THING YOU GRINDED FOR BUILD AT A SNAILS PACE. Or you could, y'know use plat to finish it? Anyone? Hmmm????? What is this, a mobile game? Build times should be cut down to three hours, five hours, tops.
    3. Archwing. The archwing is a great feature, but there are too few options to use them effectively. With outdated layouts for archwing maps, Stupidly rare mods for them, this kinda ruins the experience. We should be able to use normal mods on these bad-ass jetpacks, as they desperately need a touch up on their makeup
    4. Mods. Mods are powerful and a unique feature among games. However, out of over 500 mods, give or take, only about 150 of them are actually worth applying. Many of them are redundant, the set bonuses not worth it, and tons of grinding involved to rank them up. remove redundant mods; they ruin new player experience, as people think, "I'm not smart enough to do this sh*t". Also, cut back on fusion prices. They cause players to invest too much time and effort into ranking them up, and eventually people lose interest, as primed/sacrificial mods are powerful and eventually needed, but a HUGE commitment to upgrade.
    5. Bring back alerts. The nightwave alert system is more than a bit confuzzling. The alerts are simpler, and not as time consuming/grindy.

So these are some reasons people don't enjoy Warframe. By current stats, warframe is dead. DE needs to market and advertise more to attract a new fanbase. we also need fresher content, no offense, but a lot of stuff in the game seems to be a rehash of old content. Oh and a last word. Warframe needs to be more new-player friendly. Newbies are overwhelmed by the game's sheer amount of content, so a new UI could be used.

Believe it or not, credits are going to be the easy part. Wait till the next double credit weekend comes up and buy a credit booster. 10 runs of High Index on Neptune will get you all the credits you need. (Or 20 runs with only a credit booster)

Endo is the hard part. Since you'll need about 2 million of it. I do not recommend Sanctuary Onslaught at ALL. My eyes start to glaze over after a couple minutes of ESO and you'll probably end up quitting before getting anywhere near the amount of endo needed. I believe Arbitritions are best way to get endo. (Interception or excavation) Vast majority of the time, Ayatan sculptures are what drop each round. They're worth 1,500-3,500 endo each.

After that; sorties. 4000 endo or an Ayatan Anasa sculpture are fairly common rewards.

I'm pretty sure that the umbral mods cost like 200k endo to max them all out

I am PC but I hope you have Arbitrations?

I play for a few months as well. If you are able to fight against lvl 100+ enemies - you can try to do Arbitrations. Around 2000+ endo every 10min or so. It is not that hard to fit for them if you want to do only half hour runs or so. Infested are super easy. Inaros/Rhino/Nekros/Valkyria will do the job perfectly. Just for more survivability use long-range melee weapon like polearm (Zaws are the best - max that Ostron standing) with unranked Life Strike mod and added reach to remove Arbitrators asap. At least that is how I do. It is still annoying and boring, but Arbitrations are endo farm. Excavations are the fastest way if you have Limbo/Frost. You just have to unlock the full solar map to access them

For credits ofcrs The Index. Try to go with clanmates only or find friends who can run them with you. Clanmates should tell you all this information anyway unless you are solo?

It will still take some time. Someone can boost you to Arbitrations. For example, I run only solo survival, as people tend to bail out too early and I run at least 1-2h. It is fine to have someone who can at least hide as Loki and just not get in a way.

Sacrificial mods I see as not so great right now so I do not recommend them. Umbral mods will help you a lot in high end so it is ok to push for them.

    Just my 2 cents.

i agree. the sacrificial mods on their own aren't great, BUT they have that set bonus, which is what my eyes are on.

  9. So the area you go to to wait for the plains of eidolon doors to open up, there are the four corners with column-type things. I was jumping around, waiting to be let back into cetus, when I attached myself to one of the columns in the corners with my sword, holding RT. Must have been a specific location, cuz I fell through the column and out of the map. my warframe, abilities and health  bar disappeared as I fell into gray oblivion. I did re-spawn eventually. is this an old bug i found? my loadout was Excalibur Umbra, Skiajati, Akjara prime, and Tigris.

Just a side note... if you can wait we'll be getting booster weekends coming up in march.

Got to agree with WhiteMarker though, if you can't even afford to do one then it's 'too early' for you to be worrying over maxing them.  Maybe try and get them to rank 8 which imo is the sweet spot between cost and upgrade.

Also you've got to consider the forma investment you'll need when you get these maxed, as soon as you max them you'll start wanting to put them on other frames and that can get costly (forma) very quickly.

i upgraded sacrificial pressure to rank 6 and thats it

The thing is, that you seem to be pretty early into the game. These mods require a lot of ressources to max, and then you need a lot of ressources to make builds work with these mods.
    It is quite the commitment.
If you want to max them, go for it. But maybe you shouldn't rush things. Take it easy.
Often enough there are threads made, asking what to do next, because all theses players did where rushing through all the content. It's just always kind of sad to see this stuff.
I didn't want to offend you with my post

I'm trying to do everything possible in the game so I can understand the complexity of this 44 gigabyte monster. btw it's spelled 'resources'. one s

You might not want to hear this, but if you don't even have enough endo and credits for atleast one of these mods, theen they aren't meant for you just yet.
These mods are endgame material. Heavy endo/credit-sinks.
You are doing way better if you juts use there "normal" counterparts for now. If you ever have nothing else to spend credits or endo on, you can go for these mods.
Trying to max them now will ruin your experience. You will lose interest in this game very quickly this way.

Really, all i'm trying to do by maxing out these mods is preparing for the next endgame thing. I used all of my credits and endo ranking up sacrificial pressure ONCE, and now i'm scrambling to do all of the alert missions, sorties, and synthesis tasks

  13. So recently I had a thought. We have Nekros, the warframe of death. Garuda, Death's maiden. We have Umbra, a crazed warframe, and nidus, a parasite. What if we had a demon warframe? I was thinking Gamigin, who can take the form of any dead body. What he does is animate himself into the form of a recently deceased entity, any dead corpus, grineer, sentient, or infested. however, he does not retain and offensive abilities, whereas he does retain the health of himself, say, if he has 200 health as gamigin, the animated corpse will have 200 health. the ability will last until deactivated, or you run out of energy. the energy drain for the ability works like exalted blade, in energy per second. so now for the abilities.

1: Nekromancy: sends a blast of energy from hell that disables shields for 15 seconds - 30 energy

2: Bargain: sacrifice 50% health for 25% more damage buff for all allies - 60 energy

3: blood surge: forces 50 energy from all enemies in a 20m radius - 50 energy

4: Animation: uses the body of any corpse to move around and sneak around enemy lines - 5 energy per second

    Stats:

    150 Shield (450 at rank 30)

    200 health (600 at rank 30)

    225 armor

    150 energy (400 at rank 30)

Passive: every enemy killed grants 5 energy to all allies
