  1. Hi guys,

I'm quite confused about these "Genetic Code Templates" and whilst I understand what they do. I fail to understand what traits are transferred and in what order of dominance. If possible could people please put up in detail what attempts at breeding they have made, no images necessary, and what the resulting offspring were.

    Details should include

    - Breed

    - Gender

    - Color

    - Head Pattern

    - Body Pattern

    - Height

    - Build

*While I am aware there are other posts related to the breeding of Kubrow please understand that this project aims to give a clear understanding of genetic transfer in the breeding Kubrow.*

Thank you to all who participate.

  2. It was never stated that the event mods would be exclusive rewards, that's something the players have just assumed to be true.

Granted yes, there is compelling evidence that they will never be re-released, because more people would whine if their assumed-to-be-exclusive mods suddenly became acquirable once more.

They're incredibly useful mods either way. Not "far to (sic) powerful".

I bought my event mods with an exorbitant amount of platinum, and the longer we go without a recirculation, the more people can leverage out of them. I would still rather them become available again, even if the platinum I spent became a waste. Exclusivity only alienates and divides players, and I'm more interested in the health and success of this game than my own status within it.

Exclusivity does not solely alienate or divide players, it also compels players to participate in events which also greatly benefits the general and long term health of the game which speaks directly to it's success. They are rewards received for showing this game love. Same as with founders packs and how those who played during alpha were given Excalibur Prime. It was a reward for their participation. It's unfortunate that some people missed out, such as myself in the case of the Excalibur Prime, however this doesn't mean that those who showed the game love at any point should have their rewards made redundant. Features (aka Trade System) are available that allow you to attain them. Yes you have to pay, and I understand that you did pay for yours, but that is a fair flag fall as those mods are not essential to anyone's performances in-game and were rewards for participating in something that you (not speaking directly here) were not involved in.

  3. The events are just another reason for you to play the game... and are also done by DE in an attempt to get users who already beat the game (finished the entire star chart) to continue playing.  That's also why they created the Dark Sector missions... and the Solar Rails.

I've played other games before that offer events and special drop rates or drops during those events, and it's all fine and dandy.  However, the weapons and drops weren't vital to you kicking &#! in this game, where as both of these event mods are.  As I previously said earlier, the elements in these mods create Corrosive, which is quite frankly the most useful element in the game since Damage 2.0 was introduced.  To top it off, they also add Status Chance, and they take less mod space than their singular counterpart.  (IE:Poison melee:Fever Strike)

I know how great it is to offer exclusive content, but not when it's something this important.  For example, do you see me complaining about the Strun Wraith.. or the Wraith Twin Vipers?  Those guns are excellent, I'd say the best in their class.. but they aren't imperative for me to play with.  I can use alternatives.  Those mods on the other hand, they are very useful.. and I have one of the sets.. just imagine the people that started playing the game late and don't have access to them unless they go on the trade chat and buy them for an arm and a leg worth of platinum.

What I'm getting at is I hope they do decide to re-release them.  They are too important not to.

I don't feel that they are all that important. In fact I don't even feel the need to use them in my main loadouts (and I don't).

As you've said yourself when giving the Wraith weapons series example, they're excellent weapons but not imperative for me to play with.

That pretty much translates here, while these mods are excellent mods they are not imperative for you to play with.

  4. hmm it seems my post came across far differently than I intended for that I apologize

at this moment in time however i cannot  seem to find the words to get what i meant across with out sounding like a complete A****** so i will respectfully move on from this topic again my apology's for how my 1st post in this thread came across and another factor is that i was dog tired and in more than a little pain at the time not that it excuses anything but that was the situation at the time

Thank you for the apology and your contribution to the discussion.

    P.S

Hope your dog didn't work you too hard :P

  5. No other game that I know of has a system that you're insisting.  If there was price levels(Min/Max) on items Sold and Bought it would be no better than DE just putting them in the Market.

Prices on items will always go down due to the fact that once people with large amounts of Plat willing to pay those prices already have the items they no longer need them.  Then sellers are forced to lower their prices to the next tier of Plat owners so they can afford it...and prices continue to drop to the next tier...and so forth.

ie. Something will sell at a price as long as someone is willing to buy at said price.

Your reasoning as to why this system is not based on supply & demand due to items not being consumable is wrong.  The only reason people buy items are to keep/build.

    1. Once you farm/buy the needed parts for your Prime Weapon/Frame and build it is consumed and non-tradeable.

    2. Once you farm/buy the Mods that you want, you no longer need it and any excess is surplus.

Also, I have no idea why you are calling people lazy when they are the actual people willing to pay these high prices which you wish to keep.  Some people value their time more in real life than trying to battle RNGsus just for some pixels or to turn a virtual currency profit.

    1. My reasoning is sound. Prime parts are the obvious exclusion considering I stated almost none were consumable, meaning the vast volume of tradable items are Mods which are not consumable. Which in supply and demand terms means that they will always be there regardless of the fluctuation in demand. Even if the demand goes up because they are not consumable they is no positive mechanism by which the price/valuing can increase.

    2. I'm not turning anything into virtual profit..... Don't know where that came from <.< I'm giving constructive feed back on a system which in my opinion has a fundamental flaw. Which in the long run may mean that the trading system, an in-game feature, is not worth using due to the little benefit it poses for those who supply it.

    3. Please don't attempt to over simplify and misconstrued the motivation for my thread. I never said that I wanted high prices. What I'm after is better stability for valuing/pricing in the trade system. So that prices don't continue to stay at an all-time low as they are now, where even rare mods are selling for so little as 1-3p and rank 10 mods are as of now selling for less than 80-90p.

  6. in other words you are not getting rich by trading and decided to try and change it so you can force people to pay a price that YOU think is fair thats not trading thats setting up a shop/market trading is about paying what you think its worth and no more

Oh my, calm down sir... My point is that in my opinion the trade system needs reviewing due to a flaw in their supply-and-demand perception. Whether or not I've gotten rich by trading isn't up for discussion. But thank you for your reply... If you reply please try to be more constructive to this discussion rather than flame me for posing an alternative opinion of the trading system to yours.

  7. I disagree, exclusivity of these mods are a reward. If they were to reintroduce them into the game they'd be like prime parts at the moment..... "Cheap China". Which completely ruins the point of giving them as an event reward. It's unfortunate that people didn't get them, but that doesn't mean that they should be mass manufactured. This puts into question the need to participate in events for exclusive rewards In the first place if they are re-released into the game.

  8. Could we please have a review of the trading system? More specifically the price/value associated with tradable Mods, Parts etc.

The trading market has gotten so bad things are being devalued rapidly making it not worth while to even use the feature.

Especially since this feature majorly benefits lazy players who choose not to play the game to attain desired items and then completely devalue their desired item when "buying" them from other players who actually went through the missions required to attain them.

e.g. Rhino Prime Chasis one of the hardest prime parts to attain was once valued >80 platinum. Now it's <40 platinum and steadily declining. This part is not only hard to get, but the key needed to have a chance to gain a shot at this item is easiest attained through high level play. Adding to the fact that one may have to do over 10 1hr+ sessions to attain the Rhino Prime Chasis the <40 platinum is an absolute insult considering that a lot of your cosmetics cost over 40 platinum.

This is also effecting the trade of ranked mods. Where it takes over 1023 duplicates to max a 10 rank mod and 198 rare 5 mods to max a rare rank 10 mod. Players have already butchered this type of trade where the work required to attain a max 10 rank mod is no longer worth the platinum offered.

e.g. Max Serration once valued 200p last month, 150p last week and at the moment less than 100p. This is a complete joke considering the sheer amount of gameplay and fusion energy required to attain such a rank.

Some will say that it's based off supply-and-demand. But that paints a horrid future since almost none of these tradable items are consumable, thus supply will always out-weigh demand. Resulting in what is happening now where prices are crashing to unreasonable levels due to an uncompetitive market. The only "form" of competitiveness in the market is undercutting which the main driving force to already unreasonable price/value levels.

My idea is a new trade/value system that fixes minimum values based off of the fusion energy associated with fusion cores for mods of any rank. This means that the work put into ranking and mods is worthwhile, people aren't able to rip off other players and also prevents market pricing crashes as we have now.

Could we please get the devs to discuss this?

  10. Please change Nyx energy cost mechanic back..... The new continuous cost is an awful idea and an even worse trade off for mobility..... If people wanted mobility they should just put fleeting expertise on to shorten the duration. Instead of having you guys penalize the rest of us for actually using her for what she's designed to do. Create chaos amidst the fighting or draw focus without being a 1 burst contributor. This change has basically made it that if you can't kill her targets at high levels after unleashing the damage you've basically signed your own death sentence. Because it's bad enough her mind control and bolts aren't scaling too greatly into late game but now you've made it that her one real late game contribution is now a heavy burden to use when you should actually be using it. Chaos is great and all but if that's your answer to her late game then she's better off not being played in high level play, as chaos mobs are usually dealt with quickly by unaffected mobs.

  11. The problem is that you can make a public build private, so if I add something like that, you can delete everything. I'll think about something in the next days.

Thanks for looking into it. My apologies if I've caused you any inconvenience.

  12. Hi...

I greatly enjoy using your builder and have made several loadouts. However I'd like to request a saved loadout remover (Delete button). If not possible for public builds I understand. But if at the least could you allow this for private builds?

    Thank you for your consideration

    :)
