  1. Any chance we could get blank versions of beam/arca/cone pistols, a la Gaze/Catchmoon/Tombfinger kitguns? Or at least the ability to change the stats on similar guns like Synoid Gammacor for Gaze, for example?

  2. I love this rendition of the Wraith Theme, it does seem to fill in a gap which may be missing in Warframe Arsenal. On the point of the Dominate Ability, what if it does percentage based damage, which scales with high-level, meaning that it isn't OP, but has merit in end-game.

    That could work, or perhaps a percent or multiplied percent of the total damage you dealt while taking them over, based on the rank of the skill.

    You raise a good point. I specifically put "ends" instead of "cancelled". In order to get the instant kill, you'd have to stay the entire duration of the skill, or a minimum number of seconds. That could be tweaked.

     

    Also, to the guy a few up that would like to run as a Hind Grineer, you could if you wanted to, I guess. I designed it more towards Bombards/Ancients/etc. I guess you could waste the ability by using it on a normal mob, if you wanted that.

  4. Warframe Concept: Wraith

    I thought it would be a cool concept that instead of CCing or MCing enemies a la Nyx, that the frame could literally and physically take over an enemy and control it for a certain amount of time.

    Concept: Wraith would be a very pixie-like, very short, very thin woman. She would constantly have strips of cloth moving from her model, like thick mummy wrapping that would start to disappear as it got closer to the free ends. As in the following image, she would constantly have a spinning vertical circular design behind her head, and she could have a specialized syndana that hooks into the design and completes an entire Tree of Life design.

    Stats at Level 30

    HP: 50
    Shields: 1500
    Armor: 90
    Energy: 450

    Passive Ability: When equipped with Rejuvenation or Energy Syphon auras, Wraith doubles the effects.

    Abilities:

    #1 - Shroud. (25 energy) 10 second (base) duration. Wraith bestows its ephemeral nature to all allies within (10/15/20/25) yards, giving them active stealth. The stealth is more powerful the closer allies are to the player.

    #2 - Exodus. (50 energy) (base). 15 second base duration, 40 second cooldown. Wraith inspires a flight from death in its teammates. Allies' base movement speed is increased by (100/150/200/250%) for the duration. In addition, allies within 30 yards take (10/15/20/25%) less damage for the duration, along with disabling collision with enemies. All AoE sources of damage still apply, but the player and their allies can not be knocked down, grabbed, or stopped by fields or lasers for the duration of Exodus.

    #3 - Origination. (75 energy) (base). 30 second base duration, costs twice as much if used within 15 seconds of the last use. Wraith becomes a beacon for her teammates, pulsing an aura every 10 seconds that reaches (25/30/40/50) yards. This pulse increases team damage dealt and healing taken by (20/40/60/80%) for the duration of the skill, but teammates take 5% of the damage they deal as damage to themselves. Each pulse of Origination heals allies for a percentage of the damage they have dealt since the last pulse. An augment (Beacon of the Void) would cause Wraith to move at 25% of normal speed during Origination, but would cause bullets fired at her by allies to convert to AoE damage affecting all enemies within (25/30/40/50) yards. The final level of the augment would change the AoE damage into AoE finishing damage.

    #4 - Dominate. (15 energy, plus 10 energy per second) (base). Wraith physically takes over an enemy with (100/200/300/400%) extra damage and health. The player model would warp into the enemy (like Loki's Switch Teleport) and the player would assume the new form as long as their energy lasted. The first three ranks would leave the enemy with a proportion of the damage taken while Dominated, while the fourth rank would instantly kill the enemy when the duration of Domination ends. An augment (Disillusion) would cause a large AoE blast of typed damage when the Domination ends.

  5. 1. Are there any plans on putting Vacuum on any sentinel as a mod? As it is, Carrier is pretty useless as a combat sentinel, but everyone (myself included) uses it for the Vacuum. If Vacuum isn't in the cards for other Sentinels, can the targeting mod on Carrier be buffed in range?

     

    2. Are there any plans to have a user contest to design a warframe? I know a lot of people here have ideas on a great frame.

  6. I was playing Borderlands 2, and it struck me how useful and amazing an ability like Second Wind would be in Warframe. For those that haven't played Borderlands (all four of you), the Second Wind mechanic allows you to revive yourself with no penalties if you are able to kill an enemy while incapacitated. This could be added as a Mod (to make the player sacrifice potential stats), or as an item from the Market costing Platinum.

     

    If it goes the mod way, it could possibly be the first Craftable Mod, perhaps requiring multiple specific rare mods as bases, i.e. Vigor + Undying Will + Quick Thinking + Flow + Rejuvenation + 25 Morphics + 25 Orokin Cells + 150k Credits. Perhaps adding the requirement of a special unique item from an endgame boss to craft, or that the item you make is a Key, and you kill a boss that drops that particular mod at a 100% drop, along with dropping 2-3 rare mods (or Nightmare/Corrupted mods).

     

    This would give endgame players that have all the weapons and frames something to do, and it gives the Devs certain parts to be able to charge Platinum to receive easier. If it was added into the Market, it could be the first mod to be purchasable, with possible other mods to follow, all game altering ones (so worth the cost). I think the mod would be worthwhile at 50-100 Plat, but I'd hope not more than that.

     

    Speaking of the other possible mods, I thought up a few that would be useful without being gamebreaking:

     

    A mod that increases the chance of a boss/mob dropping a mod you don't already have. Conversely, it could increase the drop chance of a mod you already have, for those farming Split Chamber and such for Sentinels.

     

    A mod with a long recharge time that drops a Frost-like Bubble, for those people farming high level Defense/Mobile Def missions without a Frost.

     

    A mod that gives an innate second loot roll from bosses (i.e. Nekros's Ability) that could be constant.

     

    A mod that could double your Aura's effect.

     

    These are just a few that I thought up on the spot, I'm sure that more could be brainstormed.
