It's not niche.  It's just ignored by the masses because they have no reason to bother.  There's a difference.  😁

Exactly why we need an end game stealth mission, similar to how Arbis are end game everything else missions.

Can't you already do this via whispers , clan chat and recruitement chat ?

Remember that this is a QoL suggestion, it is possible, but is very inconvenient unless you are playing the popular modes.

I have no problems at all with this idea.

I must say thought that there will need to be good rewards to hook players in or they will just ignore the mission altogether.  Then there is the issue that this idea is almost entirely setup for Ivara to rule in with almost no other frame to compete with except for maybe Ash.

As an Ivara main, I myself would love to have this in the game. 😁

If this was implemented, there could be a decreased amount of energy and change to Wisp during the mission. This way, you could still be invisible, but it wouldn’t be game breaking.

Another idea is that it becomes partial invisibility, so you’re seen less, but still seen.

Maybe , it's just that stealth gameplay is not everyones' cup of tea .

    Just like Archwing isn't .

Although that is true, I’m sad that such a major part of the game and concept of space ninjas in general is so overlooked.

  5. In Warframe, stealth is pretty much only used for extra affinity at high level, for specific missions, or to speed run levels for completion/relics. I feel sad that the stealth aspect of this Space Ninja game is not used very much.

I feel like there should be some sort of additional mission type with stealth as the main idea, even more so than spy missions. In spy missions, it’s go invisible for the entire mission as Loki/Ivara/Wisp and then do some small stealth puzzle and leave.

If there were some longer more drawn out stealth mission that was available to the Red Veil, that would be cool, especially considering the nature of the syndicate. Although they participated somewhat with the Chains of Harrow quest, I think they need a dedicated stealth quest or mission type. It would be really fun to actually have a use for our Covert Lethalities besides running up and Radial Blinding that one heavy gunner.

Overall people are starting to treat this as a horde shooter and not a ninja simulator, and I find that disappointing. Although people can all enjoy this game for what it is, I feel like the stealth gameplay should have a dedicated mode/quest for those people who enjoy it.

    Quest Idea

A stealth based quest could have a new tileset with patrolling enemies, but here’s the catch: the enemies would be level 999. This would prevent people from just straight up killing them, but would allow the use of Covert Lethality to take each one out. I feel like the ability to backstab guards would seriously improve stealth gameplay. The tiles in general would probably feel more like some sort of an extended spy mission, but more relaxed. The primary objective would to reach a certain point (similar to spy) and do something. (Leaving this up to you for story purposes)

I feel like this would really round out the game and add some fun new content. This would also force people to abandon their perfectly modded shotguns and use their skill to play.

TLDR: Stealth should be used more than an affinity booster and a speedrun strategy.

Beware... The RNGod giveth, but also taketh. You'll pay him dearly for all that luck, boy! None shall escape his judement!

Don’t worry, before I got that Chroma part, I went through 14 Radiants in a 2 hour survival. It took me 2 weeks to get a Braton Prime Reciever, but one run to get a Zephyr Prime BP. My luck is really weird.

  7. This sounds like a very end game thing, and sounds very fun! I like the idea of a Metal Gear stealth mission with unique bosses, especially those you have to pay attention to. This level idea seems like a good idea for bringing the focus back to being a ninja!

  8. In the past month or so, I have got some of the luckiest runs in the game. (That I’ve seen)

Wolf Sledge print and two handles after ten runs on the alert, as well as discovering how to fix the Door Glitch (sometimes)

About 15 Lith runs to try to get an uncommon weapon part, followed by a random transmutation that dropped a condition overload. This run was right around the daily reset, so I got double Simaris points.

The luckiest run: Mot Relic run for 15 minutes. Two Mesa Prime parts, a Vor spawn, the discovery of an out of map glitch involving host migration, finding a random willing to trade me a mod I needed for a part I didn’t, and a stalker spawn at the 15 minute mark. I finished the trade and stumbled into a random C4 Radshare. I now have 3/4 Mesa and Chroma Prime in exchange for a Zephyr Prime BP.

What are your luckiest runs in Warframe?

P.S. You can fix the door glitch with punch through on alerts like the Wolf alert

  9. Does anyone have ideas for an endless stealth mission? I think this might be a fun idea and could be interesting as an end game mode similar to Arbitrations. Any thoughts on this? (Someone posted this idea as a comment about exilus mods or something, comment if that was you)

Another idea is an Infiltration mode, similar to spy but much longer. (This would all be optional) We need a Metal Gear simulator in Warframe!

  10. What is everyones’ favorite and least favorite weapons/weapon types? This is completely opinion based.

Some of my favorite weapons are automatic weapons with small spread (i.e. Karak) because it feels like an FPS game, and semi auto weapons with a medium firerate (i.e. Latron) because they are precise (usually) and very fun to use. My favorite melees so far would have to be Rapiers, because I just got the Vulpine Mask stance, and watching health melt is really fun.

I absolutely detest auto-spool weapons with long spool times. I prefer a hit and run strategy and these weapons are the complete opposite. The only spool weapon I would use is Soma/Soma Prime due to the extremely fast spool speed and height ammo.

What are are your thoughts on the matter?
