  1. For some reason matchmaking wasn't working for me after my Hijack run, I went into 2 alerts and ended up playing both solo. Hmm.

Also, wondering why Rhino Prime has a wind-up key on his back. Perhaps there's a new revive animation coming up where you crouch over him and crank it a couple of times?

  2. Yeah I would like this back again. It throws me off.

Third that. I thought the purpose of the Codex was to reveal things as we discover them in-game, so the idea that I had to take down an enemy to get the mod would count as 'unlocking'. I could live with 'pick up and equip' as an unlock, but not 'pick up and fuse at least once'.

Also, I tend to keep 1 mod at base strength and rank up a 2nd mod, so I can do incremental updates to new weapons as I craft them. That means every single mod I haven't otherwise needed to fuse is still red in codex.

  3. I'm still wondering why you went all 'metro' with the HUD and are making significant efforts to make it all clear & legible, but then you made waypoint markers even more vague with this hotfix. I can't tell what the heck anyone is pointing at, only that they think it's important (is it a rally point? Loot? "Shoot Here" marker?).

The vagueness is OK in Interception when you have Lotus telling you "now go kill these things" and the markers come up on the things to kill. But I'm not getting the context from the marker itself, it's from her direction.

Maybe a 'tooltip' when you point crosshairs on it?

  4. Of the endgame stuff, two of the three seem really cool. Proxy Wars sounds incredibly cool, with the accompanying "lore buffet" (nom nom).

If they roll out Badlands (or as I'll call it, Solar Rail Tycoon), I will likely avoid being directly involved in it, and I'm only really interested in going on Badlands missions if the 'rates' are incredibly reasonable. My fear is that the need for intrigue and inter-clan rivalries around solar rail management will spill over and poison the region chat and these forums (well, parts of the forums anyways), and turn them into system-wide pissing matches.

  5. So, I'm in a full 4-person Lapis run on Cicero, and the antitoxin level is just about to hit 94%...and I get hit with 'host migration in progress'.

OK, fine, someone had to drop off, or they had some other issue. Fine, the rest of us will finish this out.

Then, I lose an entire life during the 'waiting for players' screen as I'm hearing the Grineer beat my unresponsive 'frame around (and I can't see anything so how the heck can I fight back?). I'm not thrilled with this, but at least I have 3 more revives after this. It's worth is to complete the mission.

Then...I discover that the only other things moving on the map are the Grineer. I've been fractured from the rest of the squad, and now I'm soloing against hopeless numbers who are completely converged on the injector and hammering it (and me) into a pulp. I lose all my revives in a hopeless bid to complete the challenge. But hey, I feel bad for my former squadmates, because I'm betting they all got the same treatment.

Afterwards I PM the squad leader. They completed & got to extraction. @_@

So the only one who was robbed...was me. I'm out any rewards for the mission, I'm out the antitoxin I used, and I'm out all my revives for that frame.

I see no point after the 'host migration' where this is fair. The only part I can deal with is that I'm out the antitoxin, because that was burned in the main game session which 3 other people finished out; but I was basically dropped into a solo mission with enemies amped up 3x from what I'd have faced for selecting the mission as solo at the outset...and also robbed of a revive because the entire game was blacked out for the 20 seconds it took them to beat all the life out of me.

  6. Actually, this idea can be shortened to warframe-specific mods. And i agree that it would be nice =)

Not bad, only downside is that you'd be diluting the drop tables with stuff tailored to frames some folks don't own or don't want. Not the end of the world, mind you, since you can just sell or transmute them away.

  7. Damage type weaknesses/resistances might make it a little more interesting, sure. I'm not sure about passive abilities as far as 'what mods do but baked in' (beyond the Prime thing); that feels like a way to sneak one or two more mods into the build. Why not just ask for 2 more slots?

  8. I'm not upset by this change, but it's kinda...well...I dunno, it feels...off to me.

Also, not crazy about mission type being "invasion" but the actual game type being something else. It was one thing with 11.2 where the alerts changed mission type accidentally, that seemed like a bug. This is "surprise! It's a Defense Mission! and you're running solo...aww, hope those Grineer hold up for ya until level 5!" (which they didn't. Not once.) Am I supposed to have the star chart memorized? Sorry, didn't think there'd be a pop quiz on astronomy.

  9. I don't like that they're all called 'invasion' on the starchart but they're different gametypes. I just jumped into a solo map and it was Defense against infested w/Grineer backup. Which sucks cause I was soloing to test the waters, and general consensus is "solo + defense = u failed".

I'm willing to give it a shot...but it's really gonna take a minute or ten.
