  1. 27 pages mostly of ppl screaming about UI in the HUD feedback :| Hopefully this is both read and helpful.

Anyway as Trin it would be useful to see my allies Energy level as well, and maybe make it more alarming when an ally's health is low.

I also feel that the left hand side of the screen is rather empty.

Way-points need better describers, both auto (like the mods,) and player chosen *Like: look at this, come over here, don't touch the pressure plat* etc. And once description is in place, we will need the ability to put down at least one of each type of way-point *infinite mod way-points* (right now you can only place 1 way-point at a time)

Player re-sizing/ picking of the various hud parts, I know it would be difficult to code.. but we would love y'all for it.
Basically with this you would have various HUD modules that would be able to be turned on/off and placed in different places at different sizes. Y'all would still design both the elements and the default options, but players would have wiggle room.  *bonus points: allow for a separate window with useful info for us multi-monitor, windowed mode types.

In all this HUD is both cleaner and slightly more useful then the old HUD, GG and may the rng be with you.

  2. On the topic of the codex, I like the idea of spy missions giving you new data in the codex. However, I fear that I would then have to redo all the spy missions in order to fill my codex quickly. In other words I would like to option to be "grandfathered" into starting with some data in my codex (but I would be happy without the free data as well). (Of course I say option because some of us would like to start at 0 to see what new users would see)

Yes, lore is good, I mean look at Ingress it was/is basically a cool GPS app with a very odd UI in game form. Yet it won over quite a bit of the internet and was even featured in XKCD because it had tons of lore, user interactivity, and immersive game play (and google backing it).

I mean at this point I am not even sure if the Lotus is Tenno or an AI and there are a lot of examples of the sort of thing. Especially to new players (as I was a few weeks ago) this lack of immersion/explanation can be frustrating and leaving you sitting in the lore page hoping something new might show up.

But I know DE staff are are looking in to the new player experience and trying to fix it before the PS4 release so lore, tutorial etc. are all going to be fixed relatively soon. On this topic I think there should be an auto Noob clan sort of thing basically it would not have a dojo but it would have chat, maybe trading (if that could be done without the dojo), and more helpful noob stuff. Once the rating system is going I could see high rated players being able to take the noobs on training/unlock runs (where the higher level player would be required to be support as opposed to carry) as a mission/alert/thing. (reward for being high rated and helps the noobs). Maybe an noob option to ask for help that would show up as an alert to those with a low ping and a high rating.

I'm not really sure how I feel about the "gender swap", it would have to fit into the lore as to not cause problem with the things you are already trying to fix.

Also we need an ingame problem reporting agent, for those times you fall through the floor (die not respawn) and whatnot, that would be able to send logs and screenshots.

    TL;DR: Lore=good, Genderswap=meh, Codex+trading=???profit?? Noobs gameplay= needs work

PostScript: I love this game and think it is wonderful that DE's employees have commitment to making the players happy.
