  1. No, with a subscription, if you don't pay you don't even exist in the game world, paying every month voluntarily is not and should not be considered a subscription.

Anyway... what is the purpose of this? would you like Warframe to have a subscription option?

No, its not that, is a discussion that i had with another person.

He thinks that is classify as a subscription when a person "pay a monthly fee that allows you to have a better experience with your game via boosts, shortcuts for unlocks, etc."

which i think its not a right term to be used.

  2. Usually a "subscription" in MMO is define as paying a monthly fee in order to maintain an account to play a game.

Take Final Fantasy 14 a realm reborn as an example.

But do you consider a person who pays money every month to gain boost such as increase exp or increase in-game credit in a free to play  MMO as a "subscription"?

    what are your thoughts?

And this is not just referring to warframe but a also to other F2P MMO out there in general.

  3. Been running an Eyefinity setup for years now with two old Radeon HD 6850s in Crossfire. I always set my resolution to 5760x1080 if the game supports it with no problem. Now I have a new ASUS R9 290x and it's even better. You don't need a GPU for each monitor.

    what about the power supply?

how many watts should i use?

  4. Hey guys,

I am actually planning to build a pc with 4 monitor set-up.

So my question is does 2 gtx 780ti is going to be enough for this build?.

i think 4 gpu is overkill.

and what's the recommend watt for power supply should i use?

Thanks for answering and stay classy guys.

  5. Hey guys,

so i just want to know if there is any mouse specific for heavy/rapid click?

I just keep damaging my left mouse button, now i really need to press hard on it in order for it to respond.

    sometimes it would't even response.

its the 2nd mouse that got broken this year.

    any suggections??

    thanks in advance for answering.

  6. It would be a ton of fun to do, but it also leaves the ability to exploit it if not properly implemented.

Player a/b/c/d joins map, player e joins as stalker and lets himself get killed on purpose, free drops for a/b/c/d... Kinda ruins it :/

well it should be randomize, like how the real stalker would suddenly appear during one of your many missions.

So you will be given an option to play as stalker, but you would't know when you going to get that opportunities to play as stalker.

And I think the "Player e joins as stalker" should only be inform when the target player is kill or the stalker player is kill.

  7. Hey guys,

So what if, when you start a mission and suddenly you get to play as stalker XD.

And your mission is to kill a mark target, one of the four tenno(Players) that is in that mission.

You get to use stalker equipment and skill to get the job done.

You'll be staying hidden/invisible the whole time until you ambush/attack the player.

What kind of taunt massage would you write to the player before you appear?

mine would be "Senpai please notice me! :3" .

Killing the player would give you some unique reward, maybe even add your success in the codex!.

If the player/ squad manage to kill you then they'll get the reward.

    Stay classy guys and peace!

  8. It won't improve the latency at all. All you're doing is increasing bandwidth, which increases the amount of data that can be sent/received over a given amount of time. Although you're technically moving more data "faster" it's not actually travelling faster over the wires and pipes of the internet.

Latency is the time it takes for a packet of information to go from your computer to another computer of the internet; the only way to improve this is to physically move closer to the other computer's location, to set up a more direct communication line (i.e. direct connection rather than through routing stations/ISPs) or to replace all of the communication lines with higher speed variants (making everything fiber optic) which can actually send a data packet at a higher speed than conventional wires.

Your download and upload "speeds" (throughput) will improve, but that's really it.

Here's a page explaining the differences between latency and bandwidth and why increasing bandwidth (upgrading your internet package) doesn't decrease latency: http://zoompf.com/blog/2011/12/i-dont-care-how-big-yours-is

ok so if my ping is 100ms, does it consider good or bad?

  9. hey guys,

Newb question here, so im just wondering if I upgrade my internet speed from 5mbps to 10mbps then by how much am I going to improve my gaming experience.

I mean will it improve the latency significantly, or just a little.

Is there any number or figure out there that can help me tell just by how much is it improving.

anyway stay classy guys and thanks in advance for answering!
