    frame and weapon slots are a problem to new players.. yes..
    potato's is a SUPER problem for new players.. yes..

     

    but the biggest problem... the one I didn't even know existed until I did quite a bit of research, is that the weapon doesnt really matter... the MODS do.

    good mods can carry any weapon. but people who don't know about warframe only see mods as "additions" or "accessories" not as ESSENTIAL PARTS.

     

    I think warframe needs to be alot more transparent from the get go about just how IMPORTANT mods are both in your frame and weapons.
    so instead of blowing their 50p on cosmetics (most players do) they will spend it on mods.
     

    they also need to either purchase and/or partner with warframe.market - or create their own, just like Path of Exile did.
    it is a hidden GEM zero new players know about.

    Even giving away a primed maxed flow (= 200 to 250 plat worth) is something that you think should be the norm?

    If you have any more maxed primed mods I'll gladly take them, I have a few 10's of millions I could use for that.

    to be fair, Hildryn is not really worth the farm or buy 😞

    shes a very boring frame, that's VERY niche. you can either build her like a shield version of innaros, or as an Iron man team buffer..

    Both playstyles are very boring 😞

    I fell into the trap and bought her, potato and exilus instantly... and within a week immediately regretted my decision, now I like never play her 😞

    catalysts or "potatoes" are the biggest hurdle for a new player, cause you are basically locked into buying them until you learn about the market and unlock relics for prime parts.

    that being said doing relic runs (even at low levels) can get you "junk" prime parts, which you can sell for 5p ea, so 4 of them and you got a potatoe 🙂

    Are leechers in ESO and hydron actually that bad?

    On topic I only have an issue when someone is leeching AND they're on a frame that doesn't contribute unless they actively play. An Octavia that throws her 4 down and then just teabags in the corner is fine. The worst kind of leechers though are Limbos. Throws 4 on the point and then sits in the rift in the corner. Have had it happen often enough that I watch any limbo on my team for the first couple waves to see if they're actually killing stuff. If they aren't that's a hard bounce at wave 5.

    to be fair.. even an afk leecher is a better teammate than an AI bot in the index, lol

    I like things that are OP cause OP = Fun to me.. saddly..those also get boring very quickly.

    Ash - was my first frame and I played the game and had no mods, played him like metal gear lol, 100% stealth kills, slow methodical was really fun for awhile lol, got old fast once I got a taste for real power with real mods

    Mesa - fun as hell for the first bit, gets old really quick (no fun for anyone playing with her, as they can't hit anything)

    Saryn - exactly same boat as mesa, only Saryn can kill entire maps, walls don't matter

    Innaros - Was super fun being unkillable.. but got old reaally fast when you realise that's his only gimmick, and unless you have a baller gun, you are a HUGE detriment to the team other than being a rezzer lol

    Ivara - Purely a solo frame or a Spy mission frame, do not bring an ivara into pub regular play, you  literally do nothing. just stop. lol

    Octavia - cool for about a day, then listening to the same beat x89080980 makes me want to kill myself.

    Hildryn - even with 7k shields.. Hildryn is basically just a shield version of innaros lol.. pretty boring rather quickly (pretending to be ironman can extend the fun for a little longer, but not by much)

    Chroma - Seems so great.. but hes so very boring and uninspired. looking like an absolute badass with Chroma prime will only carry your enjoyment so far.

    Nidus - the first frame I bought with platinum, he was amazingly fun at first, but once you get a taste for other power-house frames.. the "build up" to get him to fun levels is just too tedious

    Valkyr - Valk was amazingly fun but melee in general is so stressful, much more relaxing to just sit back and blast people.

     

    which leaves with my frame im playing now, and having a BLAST playing her.. Zephyr, Zephyr built for a little bit of duration and built tanky is SUPER fun, I feel like a super soldier.
    I run around with a Vectis, and a Tombfinger kitgun, and im like a soldier with a jetpack, it's an amazingly fun frame for open world #*!%ing around. or I can switch to my speed build and be faster than volt to do speed missions, lol.

    good times.

    Thank you very much everyone for the kind words and help with builds, and tips and suggestions.

    and a HUGE THANK YOU to MR9BCI who gifted me an arcane aegis! 😮😮😍

    I took everyone's advice here, and did some research myself and came up with this build..

    kind of a mix between the immortal build and the high power build.. (ignore the energy siphon, the only mod I have with that polarity is corrosive projection.. which is bad bad bad for hildryn)

    with this, I was able to easily go an hour+ in MOT (altho I did get instagibbed by toxic ancients once or twice), and I was also able to go to round 7 in ESO.

    I also looked up "umbral mods" at the request of one of the commenters here and did "the sacrifice" last night (that was hard as hell on a no-geared operator, lol)

    soo, pretty happy with Hildryn so far! I'm sure my build can be tweaked and it will only get stronger once I level my umbral mods, but thank you so much everyone for your input and your help! ❤️ ❤️

    unfotunately I got a message from support saying exactly what Novus had said, since I leveled it even a little.. there is nothing they can do.. thats just "policy" 😞

    Hello community,

    So.. question.. I am very poor, and I work all the damn time, I also have a daughter so I only have about 4 hours a night to play warframe.. which makes "farming" things.. an incredibly long process..
    it was my birthday a little while ago and I was gifted money to buy some plat... this is a SUPER rare occurrence.

    I decided to buy hildryn cause she looked really cool.. after leveling her a bit in Hydron I noticed how squishy she was.. then I did some research and found out it's basically -required- to have an arcane aegis to play her in anything but low level stuff.. this is extremely disappointing.. :(

    is there anything at all, any way at all that I would be able to get a refund on my Hildryn purchase? I know they don't normally do any refunds on played frames, but my hildryn is only level 11

    if it's not at all possible then I guess that's that, but I am just looking and hoping to see if anyone has had any luck with this in the past? :(

    it will take me like a year to farm up that kind of currency :(
