  1. Honestly I hate the new HUD I never used it in the older version it feels unnatural and not only that with this update you can't realy get a sense of where ur health is or when your taking health Dmg like you used 2be able 2tell by your screen going red I hope you change it back I also don't like how the power bar is so small but that's small I realy just don't like how you can't realy tell when your gettig hit other than what feels like going out of your way 2constantly look at your health bar iv died so many times with out realizing I was being hit

Aye, this is exactly the same problem I'm having! I've died countless times too, and going out of my way to look at the health bar in the middle of a gun fight just makes me frustrated.

  2. Hey guys, I just got back to playing Warframe after a long break. Only recently played with the new HUD, and it's hindering my game-play. Would be awesome if the HUD layout was customizable, or there was an option to switch back to the old HUD.

The problem I'm having with the new one, is the positioning of the health and energy bars. I like how the HUD gave a lot more viewing window, but I can't keep an eye on the HP/Energy bar because it's too much to the corner.

My TV is just too big, to be playing comfortably with this layout. To see my health bar, I literally have to turn my head, where before I could just turn my eyes and glance at it. This is annoying, specially when rushing, or being surrounded by enemies.

I know I can re-size my margins to make it smaller, but then my TV would have black borders that are an eyesore. The smallest TV I have in my house is the one in my room, so the only solution I can think of at this point is to go and buy a new monitor that's smaller specifically for Warframe. Obviously, that's ridiculous, who buys a monitor specifically for one game, lol.

Anyone else having this issue, and have a quick fix? Let me know!

    Cheers.

    :)

  3. Note - I posted this on PS4 feedback, but since it applies to PC as well, I'm duplicating the thread here, too.

Hey, since all the leaderboards (except for clans) will be weekly now, I think a Hall Of Fame feature would be a good addition to the game.

Basically, it would keep track of the highest score achieved by a player(s) on the mission. It would go along side the weekly boards, but this way it'll give players some incentive to actually bother doing the leaderboard runs.

The Hall Of Fame would apply to every mission that currently has a weekly leaderboard (all survival and defense missions) as well as the overall max kill count achieved in a week.

It's a simple concept, and would add to the fun for players who have reached an end-game like status.

Here's an example of how it would work, using overall kills for the example.

    Week 1 - Player A get's 1000 kills

    Week 2 - Player B get's 1500 kills

    Week 3 - Player A get's 1600 kills

    Week 4 - Trainer Red get's 9001 kills

    Week 5 - Player B get's 2000 kills

    Week 6 - Player A get's 2100 kills

On the Hall Of Fame, it'll show that Trainer Red holds the record for most kills in a week, showing 9001 kills.

This way, it won't conflict with the weekly boards system, but will act as a companion to it. The current system for defense and survival missions works fine, and the problem with the current overall kills was that someone who starts the game, let's say today, can't compete with someone who's been playing the game since launch. I believe this is the reason the overall kills leaderboard was changed to weekly as well. Since the Hall Of Fame would record the highest score achieved in a week, it won't add any handicaps to new players. At the same time, players won't feel that their hard work and efforts were meaningless, only to be erased away and forgotten the next week.

It's like the best of both worlds!

Let me know what you guys think, and if you have any ideas on how to make it even better.

    Cheers!

  5. I was running my ususal apollodarus runs to level some weapons today and noticed the life support goes down alot faster now. I usually only have to leave to because enemies start getting to strong to kill quickly. I used to head for the exit then fight near it till life support runs out. Now when I head to the exit with 30% left it usually runs out before I even get to the exit. Anyone else notice this?

Hm, I agree with the above post. Try sending a ticket in, and I stopped paying attention to survival missions a long time ago, to the timer, I mean. I'll test it out and update you.

The life support is suppose to give you 2 seconds per point. (Life support at 100% should last for 200 seconds)

This justifies the fact that you'd get 5 minutes with 2 pods. I can personally vouch for this.

I'll try it out when I play the game next, but I can imagine how this might be frustrating to some.

    Cheers.

  6. Ummmm....I think this is intentional and not a bug, you should ask DE about it though.  Submit a ticket.

....Anyway have you completely scanned all the enemies in the codex?  Dojo could always use some help.  Try different builds for your frames.  The replay options are there like ME3, it all depends on how creative you feel like getting.  Who knows, you might find a great setup no one else has yet.

Unfortunately, I've experimented with every frame, and actually do have unique personal builds I only share with my team when we do leaderboard runs. xD

Also my clan's dojo is fully maxed out.

Yes, I am indeed, that bored. Someone tell me what to do, show me the light!

  8. Posted somewhere else in the forums.

Players logging in to Warframe PS4 will see a new Update is available for installation. Dev has informed us that this is a solely back-end Update to support the Japanese region, a necessary inclusion to release the game in Japan this month. Update 12 (and the critical following Hotfixes) are just about wrapped up and we will let you know when submission has occurred - sorry for the false alarm!

    Cheers!

  9. Hum, I haven't had any performance issues since update 11.5, save for 1 app crash that is still a mystery to me. No lag, no crashes, no FPS issues even in the void. Are you sure it's not just your internet? I've heard people have better performance from upgrading to a faster internet connection, or if you're on WiFi try a direct LAN connection.

The PS4 has a new, weird, WiFi adapter. It seems to make the internet speed over WiFi a lot slower. My download speed is suppose to be 150Mb/s, over WiFi on my laptop I get around 145Mb/s, but on my PS4 over WiFi I only get around 25Mb/s. Both devices being in the same room, of course. On a direct LAN I still seem to get the entire 150Mb/s (Tested via the PS4's internet connection test feature)

Usually someone's internet speed isn't nearly that fast, I'd say the average is probably only 10-20Mb/s. You can imagine how slow that might make it over WiFi, that's the only explanation I can think of. I'm pretty sure this is it, because everyone I've played with who has a super fast speed has had no issues since update 11.5, while everyone with a slow connection seems to lag/have FPS issues, and also were playing on WiFi. Most said performance improved greatly over a direct cable, so if you can try giving it a shot.

    Cheers.

  10. Totally off topic -

Man, I wish I could trade places with you. My Warframe excitement is just about burnt out, I have nothing else left to level in the game anymore. I log in for my daily reward and talk in clan chat a little, then end up closing app. I remember how fun it was when I'd be farming for parts, mods, exp and all. For the first month since launch I'd have like 15 hour straight farm runs, lol. I'm looking forward to Zephyr, update 12 sounds promising. Hopefully it'll rekindle my interest in Warframe again for a few days. xD

  11. So, just realized there was a patch out for Warframe earlier. No idea what it did, and there's nothing on the build notes section, either.

Anyone know what it did? I'm sure there are others in the same boat as I am, so any information on it would be awesome.

    Cheers!

Welcome, to Destroy All Monsters! Hope you enjoy the clan. :)

Dude,I already sent a msg to him before you came and invited him.I don't care if you're number 1 on the clan leaderboards. You're still just a clan who wants to push people around from what I've heard.I could be mistaken, but I heard Vampires and you are just using people,I just saw what someone said to me in a pvt msg a few weeks back. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Huh, you must have me (or the clan) confused with someone else. We have 800+ members, and you can feel free to ask any of them how their experience has been in the clan.

As for Vampire, I have no idea who that is, and no such member exists in Destroy All Monsters.

    Cheers.

    :)

  13. Hey, you could join the one I'm in. We're ever expanding, and anyone is welcome. We could always use more experienced players. I've sent you an invite, the clan is Destroy All Monsters. We're currently ranked 1 on the leaderboards for clans, too. Hope to have you gaming with us, cheers. :)
