Where did i say all weapons? He can see the zaw stats, decide for that, you can look up what part decides what weapon it will be, i onot ask him to build all and then decide, you have a damn preview you can have before building, you act liek i aks him to buy all weaposn ever existing. I talking about people only telling you to build 1-1-7 liek on AMP as example withotu putting tohught in it if one might even like it that way, efficent or not.

They not pick one, they let pick for them in this case, if you can't see that then i am sorry how gaming is today by now, just all layed out without tohught process, and i not mean skill i mean simply variety that is not allowed in some elite players eyes.

If you don't like it when people ask for advice in ... the advice thread, maybe you shouldn't be hanging out here? Those plague parts are really rare and I'm guessing OP didn't want to waste one on something that wouldn't be good at endgame.

While I agree, and it pretty much stems from a time when "we" complained about lack of content (and as such DE answered with ludicrous amounts of PoE resources), I recommend this guide. It's a very good one, even though I do it backwards and with some more of the northern pools. After a few runs it'll come naturally, in case you weren't doing something like it already.

I'm guessing that DE wants these formas to be as limited as possible, for now, so that they can test their effect on the game since they have the potential to further trivialize content - which is a long standing issue of Warframe. As with many "powerful" items (or simply new, in general) DE tends to release them in a very limited way. If it's worthwhile they make it more common.

Seeing as we're about to go deeper and deeper into The New War and since we're getting hard mode soon I wouldn't be surprised if Umbral Formas became more of a necessity compared to before. I'll be honest, however. There is currently no content that truly needs Umbral Gear. Umbral Formas are there just to make some few frames stronger than they already are, which is good from a power fantasy standpoint, but hardly a need in order to beat whatever content the game can currently throw at us.

Yeah, that's more or less what I do. I've seen a lot of older videos talking about getting 10-15 wisps on a run and I didn't realize that meant doing it for an hour straight of screen cycling. To me, that's not really "a run."

unfortunately, outside of getting Wisps from Bounties or outright buying them with alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-alt-Credits, collecting Wisps from off the ground involves going nuclear speeds over the central ring of lakes generally spamming loot Vacuum, and then cycling through Loading Screens.
where the goal is to go through as many Loading Screens as possible.
i have atleast tried to recommend ways to make this special looking and special named Resource more interesting to acquire than the extremely mundane avenues that we have currently, but we still have what we have today and that's all of your choices.

and you're also not supposed to have a lot of Umbral Forma, also you don't need very many because once you have say your two most used Warframes hyper optimized with Umbral Mods, more Umbral Forma doesn't even really do anything for you. it's icing on top of icing, and if you hardly ever actually play a Warframe, then what good does this even do for you. so it's only really useful on the Warframes that you actually use often enough where above and beyond levels of investment makes any sense in the first place.

re Umbral forma - I just don't think it should take a year per frame to get all the forma. My understanding is that, prior to SS, it did not. That needs to come back, as right now there's not much incentive for me to bother leveling up mods I can only use on 1 or 2 frames.

re wisps ... yeah, it sucks. I don't mind doing the runs but I think it's goofy that to build a new amp I need 40 wisps. That's so much useless grind time I'd rather be spending either chasing mastery or just ... I don't know ... playing.

  4. I've seen mention of some of these things in different places, but I wanted to just mention that as a relatively new player I've seen that these two resources seem to be far rarer than their utility/use would imply:

Cetus Wisps - It seems egregious that it takes 20 wisps to craft individual amp components. With both resource boosters, I'm lucky to see one and get 2 wisps if I check every lake on the plains. I know they're also available as a bounty reward, but that still means grinding out multiple bounties and getting lucky for each component. Obviously once I get to 5 with the Quills I can just buy them with rep ... but it seems somewhat counter-intuitive that much of the Cetus crafting (zaws, amps, gilding, and even the frames) is gated behind a resource so scarcely available. I wish they were either more readily available, available at a lower Quills rank, or the blueprints were adjusted to require fewer wisps.

Umbra Forma - everyone seems to be saying this, but once these were removed from the drop list from the Murex in RJ it had two negative effects: no one wants to run veil proxima if there's no worthwhile reward, and the umbral mods became largely limited to either heavy forma builds or Excalibur Umbra. For those of us who weren't playing before that change, there's no chance to obtain umbra forma more than 2-3 times a year. I would appreciate it if they were reinstated where they were, added to the sortie reward table, or added as a nightwave credit reward as well as a rank reward. Or, you know, all three. 😉
